Abstract

Language that currently used in Indonesia is Bahasa. But in every province, city, district in Indonesia have their own traditional language. Traditional language in South Sulawesi Province also there are various languages, for example Bugis language, Makassar language, and others. In this study, a text editor application is created using lontara, which can be used to edit text documents, read text documents, etc., especially in Bugis / Makassar language. As well as one effort to preserve the traditional language of Bugis / Makassar.

Abstract

Parents have a very important responsibility in shaping the attitude and behavior of their children. parents can, shape their child's behavior by monitoring their daily activities, such as where he or she goes and what locations the child has visited. but sometimes from every parent can not control the child who went anywhere because of busy and sometimes the child who was asked could lie. To assist in supervising the child in his or her daily activities, especially the location of the site, it is necessary to have a location monitoring system or child position monitor based on the android smartphone that it uses with the utilization of Global Positioning System (GPS) technology as a tracking device. With this child's location monitoring system, it can assist parents in knowing the locations their children have visited and displayed in the form of Google Maps interface so as to assist parents' supervision of their children inrealtime.

Abstract

Improper use on computer can cause a lot of damages especially on the hardware. Even though sometimes the damages are severe, there’s also simple damages. The goals of this study are to design and implement webbased expert system using Naïve Bayes method that can process the rules of computer condition to conclude final answer to the problem and then measure the performance. It begins with making data-flow diagram and entity-relationship diagram. Then, we implements that with PHP as programming language and MySQL as database. Based on research result, the author has managed to build expert system application to diagnose computer hardware problems with 100% accuracy based on 18 test samples with the average time of execution is 0.158845 seconds. With that, visitors can easily understand the nature of their computer problems and how to solve it.

Abstract

This research aims to help Gamaliel Christian high school curriculum part in monitoring the continuity of learning materials given by the teacher in teaching and learning in the classroom in compatible with the schedule is by using applications that support. Applications that use web-based so as to facilitate the curriculum and teachers in providing information to all parties involved.

Abstract

Determining the amount of stock for the right inventory becomes an issue in meeting the number of consumer needs for retailers. The problem affects the process of selling goods for retailers to be hampered. This research is developed a model of determining the amount of inventory on a retailer by using a single exponential smoothing method to forecast quantity order or how many items should be in the message to meet the end consumer demand.The results of this research indicate that the system developed can make the determination of the amount of goods to be ordered by retailers in meeting customer needs. Testing this system using sales data conducted during a month that is implemented into the system. The result of data entered into the system is shown that the retailer's inventory cost is too large. This is because too much inventory on each side is not in accordance with consumer demand, so it can cause harm to all parties. The developed system can determine the exact amount of goods ordering on retailers with single exponential smoothing method.

Abstract

One of the way that company do to get qualified employees is to select the candidates by selection process. In order to perform employee selection more efficient and to avoid the subjectivity of the decision, a Decision Support System (DSS) is required to assist the Human Resource Manager to make the decision making. This research uses Decision Tree method to determine the choice. The results show there are 2 of the 20 test data that is false in prediction. Prediction accuracy is calculated using confusion matrix and the accuracy is 0.9.

Abstract

This study aims to utilize android based applications in designing and building applications that can assist parents in monitoring computer activities operated by his son. In the process of making this application, the author uses Juno Eclipse with Java programming language. Testing methods used writer is black box testing. As a result, it can be stated that the system has been created by the author goes according to plan and specification requirements. Based on the results of this study concluded that the author has managed to create android based mobile application to assist in the monitoring of the activity on the computer.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design and implement a decision support system to selection of a boarding house using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method.Simple Additive Weighting method (SAW) is a method that can assist in decision making. However, using SAW as a weight method for decision support system only consider the biggest value among alternative choices . This method is only fit with the alternative choices that meets the specified criteria.The result shows that the decision support system built can help student in choosing boarding house. This system can also accelerate the decision making of student in choosing the boarding house.

Abstract

Decision support system is an interactive information system which provides information, modeling and manipulation of data. The system is used to support decision-making in the semistructured and unstructured situation where no one knows for sure how the decision should be made. The research describes how to maximize and analyze professionally the determination of students' graduation process after taking the school final exam. This application workflow has four (4) virtues that processes the scoring system, they are the student, teacher, principal, and staff. The research aims (1) to design Decision Support Systems of Final Exam Results using Simple Additive Weighting method (2) to implement the Decision Support Systems of Final Exam Results using Simple Additive Weighting method. The result of research shows that it has been designed and tested the Decision Support Systems of Final Exam using Simple Additive Weighting method at SMPN 1 Pallangga which can produce graduation information and rankings.

Abstract

This research aims to build a computerized Management system of college student thesis by using Model View Controller concept at STMIK KHARISMA Makassar. For that aims, it is proposed to use CodeIgniter Framework, where framework Codeigniter use MVC (Model,View,Controller) method to separates between Model (data logic) from View (presentation logic) and Controller (process logic) so that the application development using MVC concept can be more structured. Based on research result, the author has managed to build a software application of college student thesis Management by using MVC concept inSTMIK Kharisma Makassar. This Application can be used by Prodi and final exam committee to manage STMIK Kharisma Makassar college student thesis and make college student more easy to submit thesis.
