Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to find a solution regarding the strategy of economic recovery through the tourism and transportation sectors. Methodology: This study uses a qualitative descriptive statistical analysis method, namely by understanding the phenomena that occurred during the covid-19 pandemic that caused the economic downturn, one of which was the tourism and transportation sectors. Results: The results of this study there are three solutions that the authors provide, among others: (1) changing the quality of service to the community; (2) improve the quality of service to the community; (3) the existence of a fiscal stimulus, namely the provision of tax incentives. Limitations: lack of references related to articles on economic sector recovery so that the results obtained are less than optimal and there is limited time in research. Contribution: as a solution for companies affected by  COVID-19 regarding economic recovery strategies related to the tourism and transportation sectors.

Abstract

Purpose: To find out whether the Gross Domestic Product, the exchange rate, and the interest rate of the Gross Domestic Product together affect the stock returns of manufacturing companies. Methodology: This study uses quantitative methods and secondary data. The scope of this research relates to data on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017 - 2019. Results: The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that GDP growth, inflation, interest rates, and the Indonesian rupiah exchange rate have an influence on stock returns on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. On the other hand, some exchange rates have a negative effect on stock returns. In addition, inflation also has a large partial negative effect on stock returns, but interest rates have a partially positive effect on stock returns. Limitations: Only tested 4-factor variables that affect stock returns in a certain period. Contribution: It is hoped that this research can be useful for investors who will invest in certain manufacturing business sectors to be more careful in paying attention to various factors that affect stock returns.

Abstract

Purpose: This research study aims to find out the factors of buying chicken meat in traditional markets during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in Inpres Market, Inpres Sub district, Padangsidimpuan City, Province of West Java on November 7 to December 12, 2021. Methodology: The sampling method used is purposive sampling, using 104 respondents. The results showed the characteristics of consumers who buy chicken meat in Inpres Market on average women, over 36 years of age, high school education/equivalent, housewife work, income below IDR.1,000,000.00, consumption rate of 1-1.5 Kg in a week and purchase rate as much as 1-3 times a week. Result: The results of the multiple linear regression equations obtained a coefficient of determination of 0.727 which indicates that the health protocols (X1), marketing mix (X2) needs (X3) and purchase intention (X4) affect purchasing decisions (Y) by 62.8%. The F test concluded that health protocols, marketing mix, needs and purchase intention had a significant influence on purchasing decisions. The T test concluded that health protocols, marketing mix, needs, and interests significantly influenced purchasing decisions. Therefore, the advice given according to the results is with chicken traders in Inpres Market, among others, traders must always adhere to health protocols in serving consumers, maintaining the cleanliness of outlets and providing services by considering selling using the method of delivery or online, in order to reduce crowds in the market where the market is one of the places that is indeed a lot of spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Abstract

Purpose: The goal of this study is to determine the extent to which poverty and education affect economic growth in Indonesia. This analysis will serve as the foundation for formulating policies that will help Indonesia's economy expand. Methodology/approach: The type of research used is quantitative research. This study was taken from secondary data sources through the BPS website from 2012 to 2021. Although the multiple linear regression method of analysis was employed in this study. Multiple regression analysis was used to estimate the data, and the results show that while the poverty variable has no significant impact on Indonesia's economic growth and the education and poverty variables taken together have no impact either. Results/findings: The results of this study show that Education has a positive effect to growth variables economics. Poverty has a positive effect to economic growth. And Education and poverty in together has no effect to economic growth.

Abstract

Purpose: Urban and rural land and building tax (PBB-P2) is one of the contributors to local revenue. The existing PBB-P2 data is not necessarily accurate so it is necessary to update the data through the Tax survey program and to realize this, the quality of service from employees is needed. to describe the quality, factors that hinder and efforts that can be made to improve service quality. Research methodology: The research method uses qualitative research with data collection techniques of interviews. Analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. Results: The quality of employee services in the form of employee service quality is still not optimal and the factors that hinder the quality of PBB - P2 data updating services based on Tax survey are supporting facilities and infrastructure, low socialization, lack of human resources and administrative problems. The efforts made in improving service quality are to make SOPs for updating data using Tax survey and simplifying requirements, completing supporting facilities and infrastructure at BPKPD, increasing the Capacity Ability and Expertise of BPKPD HR, conducting performance appraisals and giving rewards to officers, and conducting Internal Supervision to officers. Limitations: This research is still analyzed descriptively and only uses a few informants. Contribution: This research is expected to provide additional information or input in improving the quality of technology-based tax update services in the form of a Tax survey system at BPKPD.
