Jurnal Bisnis Event menerbitkan edisi pertamanya: Vol. 1, No. 1, 2020 pada bulan Februari dan jurnal menerbitkan artikelnya dalam bahasa Indonesia. Proses review dalam jurnal ini menggunakan double-blind peer-review, yang berarti identitas reviewer dan penulis dirahasiakan dari reviewer, dan sebaliknya.

Abstract

Mobile Legend Professional League (MPL) is the largest and most prestigious gadget competition game in Southeast Asia that will feature a game called Mobile Legend: Bang Bang. Mobile Legend Professional League has become one of the esport tournaments that is highly anticipated by all fans of mobile legend games and also fans of tournament esport, because Mobile Legend Professional League will be one of the biggest esport gadget competition events in Southeast Asia. Statsman has an important role in the esport tournament, which is processing data from a game to create interesting visual graphics, and making the event more accessible to the audience. Statsman became a crucial division in organizing esports tournaments. One of the method done by statsman in processing match data and presented in interesting way is using the Echo application system which is a system application that is used to support ongoing players in an esport, and dynamically displays data into interesting graphics to give to the audience. This study uses observational data collection methods with qualitative descriptive analysis methods. The results of this study were to study the role of statsman in the activities of Mobile Legend Professional League season 2.

Abstract

In the construction of Exhibition Booth appropriate management is needed, 9the things that need to be considered are regarding the quality of construction, costs and time that must be arranged in such a way as to obtain optimal results in accordance with client specifications for the success of an event. This study discusses how the development of Exhibition Booth using the production timeline with proven results as a reference in monitoring the loading process at the Event Tokopedia Maker Fest 2018. The data analysis method used in this study is descriptive analysis where the writer will describe the process starts from marking until all the components on the event booth perfectly.

Abstract

In the information age of the 21st century today, various peer-to-peer platforms have emerged, collectively known as platform-based economies, which are now used by many groups around the world, especially for the accommodation industry in the form of homestay-based in network or online. For the public, this platform provides easy accommodation for trips to areas of interest to explore, especially for rural tourism. As a provider of accommodation services, of course the competition with commercial hotels is very strong. The phenomenon that exists in various countries in the world shows, this platform is a threat to hotel managers who certainly provide rooms at prices higher than online-based homestays. The impact is certainly not only on the sales strategy, but also on the communication strategy. The platform threat becomes disruptive where this threat can change the management pattern of the accommodation business due to different rules and can make hotel managers think hard to change their hotel communication strategy or not at all. The availability of a free platform in the hotel chain provides hope for hotel managers to explore possibilities and anticipate perceived disruption.

Abstract

Negara-Negara di ASEAN telah menyetujui untuk menggunakan Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS), sebagai model peningkatkan standar venue MICE di ASEAN. Pemberlakuan standar ini tentunya akan meningkatkan persaingan venue, bukan hanya antar kawasan administratif kota di Indonesia tetapi sampai mencapuk skala regional ASEAN. Melalui sebuah standar tentunya kapabilitas sebuah venue akan terlihat. Sampai saat ini, kementrian pariwisata melihat destinasi yang memiliki venue berstandar International baru terdapat di Jakarta dan Bali. Standar venue yang akan berlaku nantinya, tentunya tidak hanya menjadi tantang bagi venue-venue dari 10 Destinasi MICE unggulan, tetapi juga bagi seluruh venue di Indonesia. Kota Depok sebagai salah satu penyangga dari Kota Jakarta, telah menjadi salah satu kota dengan kegiatan event yang tinggi tiap tahunnya. Terkait akan diberlakukannya standar venue kawasan ASEAN, maka kondisi standar venue di kota-kota satelit/sub-urban seperti Kota Depok tentunya menjadi penting untuk dilihat apakah venue- venue di kota ini telah memenuhi standar yang akan ditetapkan. Belum adanya data penilaian ataupun evaluasi terhadap kondisi standar venue yang sudah terbangun (eksis), menyebabkan tidak adanya peta venue dari sebuah Kota/Destinasi mampu menunjukkan venue mana saja yang telah memenuhi kriteria standar ASEAN. Penelitian Analisis Kondisi Standar Venue MICE di Kota Depok ditujukan untuk mengukur dan melihat kemampuan terhadap pemenuhan standar venue ASEAN, dari sebuah venue. Hasil nantinya secara tidak langsung akan memperlihatkan kekuatan dari sebuah destinasi dalam memenuhi kriteria sebagai sebuah destinasi yang kompetitif.

Abstract

The party that is supposed to bid is the local association party. However, the bidding initiative can come from the PCO. PT Rajawali Pacific Internusa is a PCO that has the initiative to do "Asia Pacific Cities Summit & Mayor’s Forum" bidding in Brisbane, Australia in July 2019 along with INACEB, the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and related associations. Rajawali Convex's role in this bidding was as the party who initiated the 2021 APCS bidding as well as being the leader and director when the bidding team arrived, when they were going to attend the bidding and also took care of the accommodation during the event in Brisbane. In addition, the PCO also acted as the interviewees when the jury asked questions. The research method used by the writer is a qualitative. The data collection method used are the observation method, the interviewing method and documentation. The data complile method used by the writer is a qualitative descriptive analysis method that analyzes the data by describing, explaining, interpreting the data obtained during work practices while comparing it with related theories. This journal will give readers an overview of the role of the PCO before and during the bidding event for the "2021 Asia Pacific Cities Summit & Major’s Forum" Association's Conference. The result of the study found that PCO can play a role as the party that initiates bidding for Association’s Conference. PCO is a party that prepares the requirements for the bidding and also during the bidding.
