Abstract

Livestock business is part of the development of the agricultural sector which has strategic values, among others in providing food needs. The purpose of this study were to determine the constraints of broiler business in Gampong Ulee Reuleung, Dewantara Sub-district, Aceh Utara District. The research methods used are quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the gross income and the net income obtained by UD.Cipta Karya broiler chicken business are Rp 43,290,000,- and Rp.2.263,362,91,- in production process. The R/C ratio of 1.05 and the B/C ratio of 0.05. Therefore it can be concluded that the broiler chicken business UD. Cipta Karya is feasible and profitable. Generally that the constraints faced by UD Karya Cipta broiler chicken business are seeds, capital, labor and climate.

Abstract

The prospect of pepper commodities in Indonesia can be seen from the potential of the large domestic market. Indonesia is one of the largest pepper exporter countries. Pepper is one of the plants that breed with seeds, but many farmers prefer to stem cutting to develop it because it is more effective and afficient in the cultivation of pepper plants. Increasing of pepper with cuttings is more profitable because it produced a homogeneous plant population and has the same characteristics as the earlier seed, but it is difficult to abtain high quantities of quality plant material which causes the price of pepper seeds to be expensive because seedlings is still small scale, farmers do not pruning que to prefers to produce fruit and the age of plant material that is not appropriate. This study aims to determine how the level of profitability faced by Mr. Yusuf as the owner of the pepper nursery business. The research was conducted in Gampong Blang Panyang,, Muara Satu sub-district, Lhokseumawe City from Oktober  2018 until November 2018. Data analysis method used descriptive quantitative analysis to analize income, profit, break event point and profitability. The results showed the number of production in the last harvest  reached 102.000 pepper seeds. With total production cost of 201.060.580 IDR, in production process and total revenue of 714.000.000 IDR, in production process and profit of 512.939.420 IDR in production process. Pepper nursery farming business in Gampong Blang Panyang able to produce profitability level of 71,7%.

Abstract

The farmer group is a farme entity that directly organizes the function of farme in deloving their farming. Efforts to delelope farmer groups in playing their function in occordace with the direction of devoloping farme groups as their functoin. The high and law development of farmer group is influenced by the amount of group function given and the members perceptions of farmer group. This research was conducted to see members perception of the function of farmer group in law rice farming. This research was carried out in the Syamtalira Aron sub-district of north aceh regency in november 2018. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis with a scate of briquetes. The members perception of the function of farme group on wetland rice farming as a forum of cooperation with an index value of 76.31% with a good category. A container with a index value of 79.31% a good category. As a production unit with an index of 73.12% with catagor well.Therefore it can be concluded that in general farmers perception of the function of farmer group in lawland farming are categorized as good.

Abstract

Etawa goat breeding is one of the goat breeders business in Geulinggang Village, Sub District Lhoksukon, North Aceh district. The existence of breeds affect to welfare of society so researchers want to examine the effects of Etawa breeding on people's welfare. The purpose of this study was to find out (1) the negative and positive impact on the existence of Etawa breeders. (2) To what extent the involvement of the Etawa farmer in overcoming the negative impacts caused by goats in Gelinggang Village, Lhoksukon District. The research method was used quantitative descriptive method. From the results of this study there were two impacts felt by the Gampong Geulinggang community. (1) the positive impact are absorption of labor is 67% and the welfare level is better 72%

Abstract

The research was conducted in Kuta Meuligoe village, Sawang subdistrict, North Aceh regency from September to October 2018. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the productivity of paddy rice fields. The analysis method used Cobb-Douglas production function analysis. The result describes the relationships between variables through hypothesis testing research on factors that affect the productivity of rice. In this study used primary data (data obtained from respondents) and secondary data (data acquired from the library, journal and related institutions). equation of linear regression used is multiplied by test hypothesis. Test are F Test and T as well as testing the assumptions of normality. Classical multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity. Variables that have significant effect are urea fertilizer and fertilizer shortages

Abstract

A soybean is a food crops and vegetable proteins source important for people in North Sumatra Province. A soybean demands increased from year to year in North Sumatra Province but A soybean production decreased from year to year in North Sumatra Province. It caused by several factors such as a population growth, percapita income, and change in food consumption patterns with economic growth in North Sumatra Province. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze a factor that influences soybean demand in North Sumatra Province. The data used a secondary data sourced in the form of time series from 2005 –2015. The analysis model is a double linear regression The partial t-test result showed that the of corn price, total population, percapita income and amount of industry for consumption has a significant influence on soybean demand in North Sumatra Province. While soybean price and amount of industry for feed influence not significant to soybean demand in North Sumatra Province. Price elasticity value smaller than one hence elasticity has inelastic. Cross elasticity of corn price has negative and it is complementary goods for soybean. Percapita income elasticity value is positive sign hence this thing indicates that soybean normal goods.

Abstract

Butternut squash is a type of pumpkin plant like peanut seeds and has very sweet taste of fruit flesh. This pumpkin has yellow color like butter so it is called butternut. This fruit has good nutrition for health. Butternut squash started the production at Aceh Agricultural Training Center, Saree, Leumbah Seulawah Subdistrict, Aceh Besar district since 2016. This center have 1 Ha with 5000 plants and it was became a trial area for new food commodities. The results of the honey pumpkin are sold in Farmer Agro Market Expo at the Aceh Agricultural Training Center with price of 80,000 IDR / kg. Marketing of honey pumpkin in Aceh Agricultural Training Center has several problems because the price is expensive and some people in Aceh did not know the benefits of honey pumpkin. This study aims to analyze the effect of the marketing mix on the purchasing decision of honey pumpkin at Aceh Agricultural Training Center in Leumbah Seulawah Sub-District, Aceh Besar District. The sampling method in this study used accidental sampling. Data analysis used a multiple linear regression analysis model using SPSS version 18.0 software. The results showed that the R2 coefficient value was 0.439, purchasing decisions can be explained by the four marketing mix variables, namely products, prices, places and promotions 44%. While 56% is explained by other variables outside the model. The value of F count 6.838> F table 2.640, meaning that all marketing mix variables have a significant effect on the decision to purchase honey pumpkin in Aceh Agricultural Training Center. Partially the products, prices.

Abstract

This study offers an analytical review of the economic policies enacted during Alauddin Khilji's reign in the Delhi Sultanate (1296-1316), with a focus on market regulation and price control. Drawing upon economic history, political economy, and comparative economics, it evaluates the efficacy of these policies and their impact on the socio-political landscape. The paper reveals that these policies served not only economic purposes but also strategic political ones, fostering social control and political stability. By exploring similar strategies in various historical contexts, it highlights the interconnectedness of economic measures, societal factors, and political agendas. This research provides valuable insights into the complexities of market regulation, demonstrating its significant role in the broader dynamics of governance and power. It underscores the relevance of historical economic policy analysis to contemporary policy debates.
