Abstract

Lahar events have been major threats following volcano eruptions. The absence of power grid and communication line in remote areas near the volcano, where the lahar events initiate, makes the sensors deployment a difficult thing to do. Sensors, like cameras and other sensing methods, usually can only be deployed in areas where power grid presents, that is, near residential areas, far enough from where lahar event initiates. Thus, the prediction of lahar event takes longer time to make, because of delayed information received by the lahar event mitigation center, and this may be too late. Vibration sensor utilizing an accelerometer integrated with autonomous, power efficient wireless sensor network is a conclusion for the need. The statistical tests for the laboratorium scale experiment results have been made. A validated method of data analysis that has been chosen fits the data pattern. Furthermore, a significant information that can be used as a parameter for the lahar event early warning system can be achieved.

Abstract

Electric energy consumption in Indonesia is increasing following the growth of national economy. The rise of activities that need electric energy must be well managed and anticipated. Thus, forecasting of electricity demand in the near future should be considered. One of forecasting methods that has often been used is ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) time series. This paper aims to explain how to use ARIMA method to forecast electricity energy consumption in a particular area along with its accuracy. The data source supplied to the method is secondary data from PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara). For period of 5 years of forecasting, the result shows that the best model of ARIMA method is ARIMA (0,1,0). MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) value of the model is 0.33%, meaning that the accuracy will be 99.67%.

Abstract

Automatic control systems in the field of science and technology lately are developing rapidly. With the progress in the field of science and technology produce new innovations that develop towards better. Open and close roof and automatic blower system This system uses two inputs namely rain sensor and HC06 Bluetooth module as well as four outputs namely LCD output, servo motor, relay, and fan blower. Rain sensor is used to detect the presence of water spots, this sensor works with the principle of connecting between pcb lines that are exposed to water and then emits a signal that will be read by an analog port on Arduino Uno. The HC06 Bluetooth module is used to intermediate serial data from an Android smartphone to the Arduino Uno RX TX port. LCD to display the working condition of the device. Servo motors are used to open or close the roof. The relay is used as a bridge between the arduino uno and the fan blower, while the fan blower is used to dry the clothesline when the roof is closed.

Abstract

The rapid development of industrial automation technology one technique for controlling the electric motor is very difficult to anticipate by JTE Politama, this will require material adjustments and learning strategies with the development of industrial automation technology to produce graduates according to the needs and the industry can compete in the global world. It required a partnership with the industry to determine the development of industrial automation technology, but it needs to be a partnership with universities that have higher quality and more complete laboratory so it can adopt the course material, equipment / lab module. The result of the adoption of subjects related to electric motors and control techniques organized into 9 RPKPS and teaching materials as well as rewinding machine prototype.

Abstract

Laboratory is a very crucial place in doing practice learning. Generally, there are high value research equipment and component. It needs completing with electronic security system to improve the security system of laboratory locker user. This research will make a prototype of laboratory locker security system based on Raspberry pi biometrik and RFID. This system combines the fingerprint recognition system with fingerprint sensor R307 and the method of id matching by using RFID Card MIFARE RC522. Raspberry Pi is used as the main controller connected to database MySQL. Integration process with database is successfully done by using Python language as the device connector with database. Data of id tag from the reading result of RFID reader and scanning from sensor of fingerprint on device are successfully delivered to database and sucessfully receive reply response in the form of the user identity which is shown on LCD screen. The process takes less than five seconds as long as the device has been connected with Wifi network. The security lock system of locker box is also equipped with logger data therefore it will make investigation easy if the loss on laboratory equipment happens.

Abstract

Tourism websites in Karanganyar Regency are used as a tool to deliver information and new tourism promotion media in Karanganyar Regency to people who want to know new and populer toursin Karanganyar Regency. The website is one form of regional tourism promotion in Karanganyar Regency, in order to attract tourist to visit the Karanganyar Regency. This website is useful as an information and as a place for tourism promotion in Karanganyar Regency. Themore tourist visiting, the income of surrounding community and regional income will increase. Methods of research carried out direct observation, interview with the government and through mass media related to the issue raised. Touris website in Karanganyar Regency are made using WordPress and with MySQL database and the time of research began in April 2019.

Abstract

This paper discusses improving the sales system that has been used by UKM Mutiara Surakarta. Using the field study method. The field study is carried out by researching the company directly. This is done to obtain data and information directly with the problem under study. The field study is carried out by studying the information system developed by UKM Mutiara, as well as collecting data about information systems implemented by UKM UKM. The result is an inventory program designed using Visual Basic 6.0. With the creation of this program, the processing of inventory information systems implemented by UKM Mutiara Surakarta can be faster, more accurate, easier and obtain updates, especially in the inventory system.
