Abstract

This study aims to examine research patterns concerning Takaful Performance. The studied data came from the Scopus database, which was accessed on March 6, 2023. A total of 62 papers were retrieved. The data were analyzed with the Rstudio Bibliometrix program and biblioshiny tools to determine the research advancements on the Takaful Performance. The data demonstrates that the development of Takaful Performance research began in 2009 and has accelerated since 2015. Nazri and Omar are the most productive writer on this subject. Takaful, Malaysia, and Efficiency are the most commonly occurring keywords. According to the themes in the Takaful Performance study that has the potential to be expanded, this research has a great deal of room for growth.

Abstract

This study aims to look at sentiments towards Islamic Micro Insurance. This research is a qualitative research with secondary data types originating from scientific publications database Dimensions. Found as many as 40 scientific publications found with related themes Islamic Micro Insurance. The data is then processed using the help software SentiStrength and the results of his research found that neutral sentiment dominated with a percentage of 58%, followed by 22% negative sentiment and 20% positive sentiment. Sentiment on scientific publication data Islamic Micro Insurance fluctuate every year. 2022 was the year with the highest number of sentiments, namely 9 sentiments, which were dominated by neutral and positive sentiments with 4 sentiments each.

Abstract

Currently, the government has made a new innovation in the world of waqf, namely Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS) which is a form of social investment by collecting funds through cash waqf, then invested in state sukuk. The purpose of this research is to see the extent of development and sentiment towards Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS). The method used is descriptive statistical analysis combined with meta and sentiment analysis of secondary data in the form of metadata from 53 Dimension indexed articles, then processed using Microsoft Excel 2019 and SentiStrenght software. The analysis shows that the topic of Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS) has a neutral sentiment of 39.7% followed by a positive sentiment of 37.7% and a negative sentiment of 22.6%. In addition, factors that influence positive and negative sentiments towards Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS) were also found. It can be concluded that CWLS can be a solution in increasing economic growth amid the Covid19 pandemic and economic recovery. From the results of this analysis, both positive and negative sentiments are challenges and opportunities for interested parties, including the government, academics and other stakeholders to provide a strong understanding of Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS).

Abstract

This study attempts to map research related to maqasid shariah on economics published by Scopus indexed journals from 2006 to 2023. NVivo 12 Plus is used to conduct thematic studies and the frequency is used to evaluate 118 publications in scientific literature. The results of the study found that the number of publications fluctuated from year to year related to research on maqasid shariah on economics which indicated that this topic was an interesting topic and should continue to be developed. In addition, various focus discussions and cluster analyzes that describe research lines in maqasid sharia research on economics include (1) maqasid sharia in banking, (2) maqasid sharia in financial issues, and (3) maqasid sharia in economic topics in general. This research can be used as a starting point for experts to build graphic visualizations of maqasid shariah on economic research patterns in published scientific research.

Abstract

The significant role of Islamic microfinance is how they could articulate the colloborative nature of Islamic moral economy in the form ukhuwwah (social capital) among the poor participants’ program. Sharing or collaborative economy in this business platform is how poor participants of Islamic microfinance-group lending model (GLM) based, which considered as unbankable or even un-bmtable share they risk, having mutual trust, cooperative, collective responsibility to have an access to social as well as financial services provided by any form of philanthropy aids. The existence of ukhuwwah (social capital) would become critical informal institutional values that leads to an efficient sharing or collaborative business among the poor participants. The aims of the paper is to highligt the effectiveness of Islamic microfinance-group lending model (GLM) based in Cooperative Empowerment of Baitut Tamkin Tazkia Madani (BTTM) to establish social capital in supporting sharing economy and hence promoting the achievement of social and financial inclusion of the poor participants. Therefore, any kinds of philanthropy for humanitarian aid (including ZISWAH) should pay critical attention to the existence of social capital in order to alleviate poverty as well as to maintain human dignity.
