Abstract

The research entitled Contestastion of the News Content of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) The Covid 19 Period at Waspada.co.id and Medanbisnisdaily.com Period March 3 - June 4, 2020. This study aims to find various content from the messages quoted in Waspada Media. co.id and Medanbisnisdaily.com which published the news of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) to find out the direction of the news. A total of 12 news for the sample, and using descriptive analysis method with content analysis. This study found illustrations of messages in a systematic and quantitative manner. As a parameter, the category construction is used as the News Direction. The News Direction category consists of Favorable (+), Disliked (-), and Neutral (0). All categories correspond to the Harold Laswell category (Flourney, 1989: 128). Each unit of analysis is based on the frequency and character of News Content, according to predefined categories. Based on the content analysis carried out, it presents a news report about PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) published on Waspada.co.id and Medanbisnisdaily.com for the period March 3 - June 4 2020 written in a very profitable news direction with a contribution of 84%.

Abstract

This research is entitled ‘Gender Equality in Islamic Religious councelors in strengthening Religious Development Communication in Simalungun Regency’. The theory use in this research is the Gender Role Theory proposed by Prof. Alice Eagly in 1987. The object of this research is a female Islamic religious instructor who strengthens communication on religious development in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatera. The method used in this research is descriptive analysiswith a qualitative approach. The analytical technique used in this research is using qualitative descriptive with data analysis by means of in-depth interviews. The result show that in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatera, Female religious instructors had the same important role as male religious instructor, that’s mean there is gender equality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh komunikasi pembelajaran online terhadap prestasi belajar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah komunikasi pembelajaran online dan prestasi belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 74 responden mahasiswa Perumnas Helvetia Medan yang dipilih melalui metode simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai sig (0,000) dan thitung (5,441) yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara komunikasi pembelajaran online terhadap prestasi belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pola komunikasi orang tua terhadap pembentukan konsep diri pada remaja dan menganalisis hambatan dalam komunikasi orangtua remaja di Desa Baru Kecamatan Batang Kuis Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Masalah difokuskan pada pola komunikasi orang tua terhadap pembentukan konsep diri remaja dan hambatan dalam komunikasi orang tua dengan remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori komunikasi interpersonal. Data-data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi orang tua yang tepat dapat membentuk konsep diri remaja yang positif dan hambatan dalam komunikasi orang tua remaja berasal dari faktor keinginan remaja untuk terus bermain.

Abstract

This article discusses gender bias in the North Sumatra Waspada National Daily Newspaper, Edition 01 August-31 August 2018. The Waspada General Daily is one of the national newspapers in North Sumatra which still exists and is still active as a news channel. general daily. This newspaper has a vision and mission to deliver true news and does not favor one particular group. This article is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results of the study indicate that the forms of gender bias that are displayed in the news by the General Waspada Daily are stereotypes, subordination, discrimination, and marginalization of women.
