Abstract

 AbstractGrowth and development of each child is different, some are fast or slow, because in the process of growth and development there are several aspects that affect, including the talent factor (genetic), environment (nutrition and ways of care), and convergence (a combination of talent and environment ). This study intends to investigate whether the determinants of Stunting events in school children and their effects on learning achievement. The design of this study is analytical research with the Cross Sectional Study design. Measurements were made on the independent variables (mother's education, mother's knowledge, mother's occupation, number of family members, family income and energy consumption and protein of school children) and the dependent variables (stiunting events and learning achievement) at the same time. The population is all children in grades II to VI, SDN 09 Nanggalo, with 332 children. From the results of statistical tests it is known that there is a relationship between student achievement with stunting

Abstract

AbstractTo overcome health problems need to be done improve peoples eating habits that is by diversification and substitution of food with food that is easily available and rich in nutrients. Soybean flour is a good food to be used as an additional ingredient in the manufacture of brownies rich in protein. The pupose of this study was to determine the effect of soybean meal substitution on organoleptic quality and macro brownies nutritional content as an alternative snack for children with low protein energy. This research is an experimental research using a complate randomized design consisting of four treatments and one repeatation. The analysis of variance to see the diference of treatment groups. If the result are significantly different then proceed with duncan test new multiple range test. This study was conducted from january to may 2018 and the observations made were subjectively subjected to organoleptic quality test with a panelist of approximately 25 children from the age of 3-10 years.The results showed that brownies (substitution of 10g soy flour) were the most preferrred brownies with a panelist of energy 409,42 kkal, carbohydrate 48,01%, protein 3,45%, fat 22,62%, and 25,92% moisture content. Abstract

AbstractBody Mass Index (BMI), diet, physical activity are some factors causing high blood pressure and diabetes mellitus. Prolanis members at Puskesmas Alai are 60 people where 30 DM club members and 30 members of Hypertension club. This study aims to determine the relationship of body mass index (IMT), diet, physical activity and activity of prolanis with blood pressure of type 2 DM patients controlled on prolanis participants in the work area of Puskesmas Alai Padang. This cross sectional study was conducted in October-December 2017 at Alai Puskesmas Padang. Sampling was done in total sampling of 30 samples. Bivariate analysis was done by Chisquare test and calculated odds ration to know degree of relationship between independent and dependent variable. The results of this study showed a significant association between body mass index, diet, physical activity and activity of prolanic activity with blood pressure (p 0.05). Based on the result of the research, it is suggested that prolanis participant of Puskesmas Alai is actively present at every activity of prolanis so that blood pressure can be controlled and avoid the factors that cause hypertension that is obesity, physical activity is less and diet which do not fulfill 3J requirement. Keywords : IMT, diet, physical activity, activity, blood pressure AbstrakIndeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), pola makan, aktivitas fisik merupakan beberapa faktor penyebab terjadinya tekanan darah tinggi dan diabetes mellitus (DM). Anggota Prolanis di Puskesmas Alai berjumlah 60 orang yang terdiri dari 30 orang anggota klub DM dan 30 orang anggota klub Hipertensi.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan indeks massa tubuh (IMT), pola makan, aktivitas fisik dan keaktifan kegiatan prolanis dengan tekanan darah penderita DM tipe 2 terkontrol pada peserta prolanis di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Alai Padang. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan desain cross sectional pada bulan Oktober-Desember  2017 di Puskesmas Alai Kota Padang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan total sampling sebanyak 30 orang. Analisis bivariat dengan uji Chi square dan dihitung odds ration untuk mengetahui derajat hubungan antara variabel independen dan dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan bermakna antara indeks massa tubuh, pola makan, aktivitas fisik  dan keaktifan kegiatan prolanis dengan tekanan darah (p 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan agar peserta prolanis Puskesmas Alai aktif hadir pada setiap kegiatan prolanis agar tekanan darah dapat dikontrol dan menghindari faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan hipertensi yaitu obesitas, aktifitas fisik yang kurang dan pola makan yang tidak memenuhi syarat 3J (jenis, jumlah, jadwal).  Kata Kunci : IMT; pola makan, aktivitas fisik, keaktifan; tekanan darah

Abstract

 AbstractHigh blood disease is a disease classified as the silent killer. One solution is by giving cucumber juice, tomato juice, and guava juice. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the three kinds of juice on the decrease in blood pressure in patients with hypertension.  High blood disease is a disease classified as the silent killer. One solution is by giving cucumber juice, tomato juice, and guava juice. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the three kinds of juice on the decrease in blood pressure in patients with hypertension.  The results obtained mean systolic pressure before given 147 cucumber juice and diastolic pressure 90.2. While the mean systolic pressure after given cucumber juice was 138.8 and the diastolic pressure was 82.5. The results obtained mean systolic pressure before given 140,3 tomato juice and 86.8 diastolic pressure. While the mean systolic pressure after being given tomato juice was 132.8 and the diastolic pressure was 79.5. The results obtained mean systolic pressure before given guava juice 140.8 and diastolic pressure 88,7. While the mean systolic pressure after guava juice was given 127.5 and the diastolic pressure was 81.0. Provision of cucumber juice, tomato juice and guava juice is quite influential in lowering blood pressure in patients with hypertension, so it is expected that health workers, especially nurses are more active in providing counseling about the use of these three juices to decrease blood pressure in people with hypertension.Keywords : Hypertension, Cucumber Juice, Tomato Juice, Guava Juice

This study is intended to look at external factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding. This type of research is a quantitative study with a descriptive analytical design with a cross sectional approach. Researchers measure the independent variables of the dependent variable that are collected at the same time in a population sample. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge, support from husbands, support from health workers with exclusive breastfeeding and there is no relationship between family support and information exposure with exclusive breastfeeding. Keywords : Knowledge, husband's support, family support, exclusive breastfeeding  AbstrakKeluarga sebagai sebuah tempat yang aman dan damai untuk istirahat dan pemulihan serta membantu penguasaan terhadap emosi. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk melihat faktor-faktor dari luar yang berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional peneliti mengukur variabel bebas variabel terikat yang dikumpulkan dalam waktu bersamaan dalam suatu sample populasi. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisa yang dilakukan terhadap dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan bermakna antara pengetahuan, dukungan suami, dukungan petugas kesehatan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif  dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan keterpaparan informasi dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif.   Kata Kunci : Pengetahuan,  dukungan suami, dukungan Keluarga, Pemberian ASI Eksklusif

Abstract

AbstractThe appropriate and good use of breast feeding and the provision of complementary food are the key to maintaining infant nutrition until the age of 24 months. Because the rate of growth and development at the age of under 2 years will determine the process of growth and development of children of later ages. Counseling with demonstration and behavior methods provides better benefits to changes in knowledge and behavior than just counseling. This study aimed to observe the effect of nutrition counseling on changes in maternal knowledge and behavior in the provision of complementary feeding to children 6-24 months. The sample for this research is 32 respondents who will be given nutrition counseling treatment with lecture and demonstration methods using slide media and teaching aids examples of ingredients and prepared food. Paired sample t-test analysis was used to determine the significance of changes in knowledge about complementary food before and after treatment at a 95% confidence level. This study shows that there is an effect of nutrition counseling on changes in the level of knowledge of mothers in the provision of supplementary breastfeeding for children 6-24 months and there is an effect of nutritional counseling on changes in maternal behavior in the provision of complementary feeding for children 6-24 months. Keywords : complementary food, mother’s knowledge, mother’s behavior AbstrakPemanfaatan ASI dan pemberian MP-ASI yang tepat dan baik merupakan kunci pemeliharaan gizi bayi sampai usia 24 bulan. Penyuluhan dengan metode demonstrasi dan perilaku memberikan manfaat yang lebih baik  terhadap perubahan pengetahuan dan perilaku dibanding hanya dengan penyuluhan saja.  Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengobservasi pengaruh penyuluhan gizi terhadap perubahan pengetahuan dan perilaku ibu dalam pemberian MP-ASI pada anak 6-24 bulan. Sampel untuk penelitian adalah 32 responden yang akan diberi perlakuan penyuluhan gizi dengan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi menggunakan media slide dan alat peraga contoh bahan dan makanan jadi. Analisis dengan paired sample t-test digunakan untuk mengetahui kemaknaan perubahan pengetahuan tentang MP-ASI sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan perlakuan pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penyuluhan gizi terhadap perubahan tingkat pengetahuan ibu dalam pemberian Makanan Pendamping ASI anak 6 - 24 bulan dan terdapat pengaruh penyuluhan gizi terhadap perubahan prilaku ibu dalam pemberian Makanan Pendamping ASI anak 6 - 24 bulan. Kata Kunci : MP ASI, pengetahuan ibu, perilaku ibu

Abstract

AbstractThe Ministry of Health has set an Exclusive Breastfeeding coverage target of 80 percent. In fact, only 27.5 percent of mothers in Indonesia are successful in giving exclusive breastfeeding. The annual report of Kabupaten Sijunjung Health Office covers exclusive breastfeeding coverage of 75.5% while the expected target is 80%. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of Tanjung Gadang Public Health Center Sijunjung District.  The type of descriptive analytic research using approach is cross sectional. The population is targeted for mothers with babies 6 months to 1 year. Sampling technique in this research is accidental sampling that is counted 81 people. Univariate data processing with frequency distribution and bivariate using computerized Chi Square analysis.  Univariate results found more than half of respondents have low knowledge (63%). More than half of respondents had negative attitudes (54.3%). More than partially positive family support (50.6%). More than half of respondents have negative culture (58%). More than half of the respondents did not give exclusive breastfeeding to their babies (60.5%). There is a significant relationship between knowledge and exclusive breastfeeding (p value 0.001). There was a significant relationship between attitude and exclusive breastfeeding (p value 0,001). There was a significant relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding (p value 0,004).
