Journal of Contemporary Administration and Management (ADMAN) is a scientific journal that focuses on the publication of articles related to the development of the theory and practice of administration and management in a contemporary context. The journal contains articles that cover a wide range of topics, such as business strategy, human resource management, financial management, marketing management, operations management, environmental management, public policy, and so on. Our journal aims to present innovative thoughts and creative solutions in the field of administration and management. In carrying out this objective, the journal publishes scholarly articles that contain original research results and theory development and follow strict academic standards. Journal of Contemporary Administration and Management (ADMAN) is published periodically every four months and is open to the publication of articles from academics, practitioners, and researchers in the field of administration and management. This journal uses a peer-review system in assessing incoming articles and is accredited by a national accreditation agency. With this journal, it is hoped that it can make a real contribution to the development of administration and management science, both theoretically and practically, and provide useful information for readers who are interested in this field.

Abstract

Business Philosophy Education is a discipline that aims to assist individuals in understanding the meaning and values of business, as well as helping them to develop critical thinking skills. Critical thinking ability is very important in the business world because it allows individuals to make the right decisions that are beneficial to the company. However, there are still many business students who lack adequate critical thinking skills. This study aims to explore the influence of Business Philosophy Education on improving the critical thinking skills of business students. This research is qualitative in nature. Data collection techniques include listening and recording important information to conduct data analysis through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study concluded that Business Philosophy Education has an important role in improving business students' critical and ethical thinking skills in dealing with complex and ambiguous business situations. Through this education, business students can gain a deeper understanding of the philosophical principles underlying business practices, so that they can make more socially and environmentally responsible decisions.

Abstract

Companies have many different objectives in running their operations. However, the main objective of the company is to maximise shareholder value. Firm value is the result of the company's performance in generating profits and minimising risks. For shareholders, the main benefit of share ownership is the dividends provided by the company. Research on the effect of dividend policy on the financial performance of companies in Indonesia is still relevant to be carried out in order to provide deeper insights for practitioners and academics in the field of finance. In this study, the author will describe the effect of dividend policy, as well as its relation to the company's financial performance, using a descriptive qualitative approach method. Based on the results of the research and discussion above, it can be concluded that dividend policy has a significant influence on the company's financial performance. However, this influence can be positive or negative depending on the conditions and factors that influence dividend policy.

Abstract

In the business world, company performance is very important. Business performance is influenced by various factors such as strategy, human resource management, financial management, and business environment. Effective and efficient financial management is essential to ensure business sustainability and growth. The purpose of this study is to discuss appropriate financial management strategies to improve business performance. The methodology used in this study is descriptive analytical method using secondary data obtained from various sources such as academic journals, books, and company financial reports. This study arrives at the conclusion that in an increasingly complex and competitive business era, effective financial management is an important key in improving company performance. The right financial management strategy can help companies estimate and allocate resources effectively, manage risks, and make the right decisions in capitalising on business opportunities.

Abstract

Effective and functional financial management can be found in financial management. Financial management is a financial management process that organises financial activities from planning, implementation and control to financial accountability. However, when it comes to educational institutions, the impact is quite significant. This research aims to find out the definition, principles and concepts of return assessment in financial management. This research is literature research, and the data used is secondary data from various literatures. Qualitative descriptive method is used to assess the data obtained. Based on the description of the findings, financial management can be interpreted as business activities related to the acquisition, use and management of company funds to achieve the company's main objectives. Good financial management is certainly needed. The need for financial management can be concluded as the need to identify the objectives that must be met, the right choice is the one that advances the company's goals; usually, the purpose of financial management choices is to maximise the company.

Abstract

In the current era of globalisation, the development of a company is increasingly sophisticated and rapid. With the increasing number of companies, it will complicate opportunities for companies. In this case the company must innovate to face its competitors. This study aims to examine the factors that influence the achievement of company goals by maximising company profits through internal and external factors. This research is literature research, and the data used is secondary data from various literatures. Qualitative descriptive method is used to assess the data obtained. The results showed that company performance is influenced by external factors, because external factors themselves can be used as opportunities or threats, namely the involvement of government agencies and institutions that facilitate the entire process starting from raw materials, production processes and marketing processes to media devices to improve company performance. This is because the participation of related parties can encourage entrepreneurs to be creative. Thus, business people can make superior and quality products.

Abstract

Bank bjb is a type of commercial bank engaged in the banking sector which carries out activities to collect funds and distribute funds. Whereas banking is a financial institution that is growing rapidly in Indonesia, one of the banking activities is credit, the management of which requires credit administration procedures. The focus of this research is how the procedure is carried out in the credit granting process. In addition, to find out how to implement the theory of credit administration procedures at the bank. This study shows that the KGB credit administration procedure is in conformity between theory regarding administrative procedures and practice, it is good according to the existing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The procedure for applying for credit includes 9 stages, namely submitting files, investigating loan files, interview I, On The Spot, Interview II, Credit decision, Signing of the Credit Agreement, Credit Realization, and channeling and withdrawing funds. The procedure makes it easy to process each credit application so that it makes it easier for consumers to apply for credit, the time period for consumers to realize faster credit can be completed within 2 days until disbursement. For credit application procedures there are problems that must be corrected.

Abstract

People are a company's most important and influential asset, and that's why it needs great people. One way is to achieve work-life balance. This study aims to examine how work life balance affects employee performance at PT Gemilang Mitra Sejahtera. This research uses an associative approach with a target sampling of 50 respondents. The method for collecting data for this research is the questionnaire method. The analysis technique uses simple regression and SPSS version 26.00 software in processing the data of this study. The results of this study indicate that work-life balance is known to have a positive and significant impact on employee performance of PT Gemilang Mitra Sejahtera.

Abstract

In the Non-Probability Sampling method which uses purposive sampling, this study discusses the quality of service on patient satisfaction. The research objective is to find out whether or not there is an influence on service quality on patient satisfaction. The sample taken used 5 respondents and 5 questionnaires. And the hypothesis used is service quality (X) and patient satisfaction (Y). Based on the results obtained in this research that for service quality that has a positive effect on patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Decision-making in public management is a complex and crucial process in carrying out government functions. Appropriate and effective decisions can bring positive changes to society and help achieve development goals. This study aims to analyse the impact of good governance on the quality of public management decision-making. The current research type is qualitative. Data collection techniques include listening and recording important information to conduct data analysis through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study state that Good Governance has a significant positive impact on the quality of decision-making in public management. The concept of Good Governance includes transparency, public participation, accountability, rule of law, professionalism, and technology utilisation. The implementation of Good Governance principles brings various benefits, including increased transparency, strengthened public participation, increased bureaucratic efficiency, improved quality of public services, encouraging economic growth, and creating social peace and stability.

Abstract

In this modern era, technological innovation has become one of the main keys in improving the efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness of a nation. On the other hand, awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability is increasing, given challenges such as climate change, natural resource depletion, and the negative impacts of pollution. The purpose of this research is to analyse the role of public policy in promoting technological innovation and sustainability. The current research type is qualitative. Data collection techniques include listening and recording important information to conduct data analysis through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study results show that the role of public policy in encouraging technological innovation and sustainability is very important in achieving a sustainable and advanced future. The right policies can create an enabling environment for innovation, stimulate research and development, and empower human resources to face rapid technological challenges.
