Abstract

Currently, we have entered the endemic phase of  COVID - 19 which has changed the learning system a lot. Final - year students in the COVID-19 endemic phase are required to adapt to the changes that are occurring. Examples of changes that can occur are learning motivation and academic procrastination. Motivation to learn is the presence of  strength and driving force within which functions as a builder of desire and willingness to take action so as to achieve  goals. Academic procrastination has the meaning of suspending or delaying the completion of a task and is categorized as a failure of self-regulation. This study aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation and academic procrastination in final-year students of the COVID-19 endemic era. This research was carried out using a correlational quantitative method. Researchers used a purposive sampling method to find participants. The participants of this study were 165 final semester students aged 21-25 years at X University in Jakarta, who have domicile origins from Java Island, Kalimantan Island, Sulawesi Island and Sumatra Island. Motivation was measured  using the Academic Motivational Scale - Short Indonesian Language Version (AMS-SILV) (α = .832) and academic procrastination was measured using the Academic Procrastination Scale (APS) (α = .91). Due to the abnormal distribution of the data, the data was processed using the Spearman correlation test which obtained a sig. = 1.000 and the value of r = 0.091 which means that learning motivation has no significant relationship with academic procrastination.

Abstract

Folklore has an important role in children's development because it introduces moral and ethical values that can shape children's character and introduce Indonesian culture and traditions. However, folklore today is less in demand by children. The design of storybook applications that have good reusability is expected to increase children's interest in reading folklore. Therefore, it is necessary to design a folklore book application that uses Design Thinking. The method used in the development of the user experience of the folklore book application "Ceria Story" is the Design Thinking method. There are five stages carried out in this method, namely, empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. The resulting prototype answers four main problems obtained from the empathize, define, and ideate stages. The story that is used as a case study of this application is Malin Kundang folklore because it is one of the popular folklore with a moral message that is suitable for children. The results of testing children's satisfaction with this application get the category "GOOD". Therefore, the folklore book application "Ceria Story" which is designed using the design thinking method can be a solution to the problem of children's lack of interest in folklore.

Abstract

The case of tainted syrup with diethyllenglikol (ED/DEG) in Indonesia has raised serious concerns regarding the supervision of medicinal products by the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM). This article presents a legal analysis of consumer protection of this case, as well as highlights the role of BPOM in carrying out the task of supervising medicinal products. The case of ED/DEG tainted syrup became the public spotlight when a number of consumers experienced negative health impacts after consuming the product. This incident raises questions about the effectiveness of BPOM supervision in protecting consumers from unsafe drug products. This article attempts to outline the legal aspects involved in this case, including consumer protection laws, drug regulation, and BPOM's authority. The results of this analysis provide an overview of the complexity of legal issues that arise in the case of ED/DEG tainted syrup drugs, and emphasize the importance of strengthening the drug product supervision system in Indonesia to better protect consumers. The implementation of drug supervision by BPOM in the implementation system is quite good, but the implementation has not been optimal. There are regulatory loopholes that have been realized by BPOM that should be able to make additional arrangements.
