JAWAMIUL KALIM: Jurnal Kajian Hadis is a biannual (March and September) and peer-reviewed journal published by Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian masyarakat (P3M), Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Islam dan Bahasa Arab (STIBA) Makassar, Indonesia. The journal accepts submissions of manuscripts from any issues related to hadith and science of hadith studies. We more encourage any paper related to Living Hadith, Maani of Hadith, Takhrij of Hadith, Mushkil of Hadith, Hadith Applications, Sanad of Hadith, Matan of Hadith, Syarah or Fiqh of Hadith, etc. All submitted papers are put through double-blind review process. The journal accepts both research and non-research articles, which will be peer-reviewed by at least 2 (two) reviewers. Once a manuscript is submitted trough the online process, a journal editor examines the manuscript and determines its appropriateness for the full peer review. If it passes the initial screening, the manuscript will be sent to peer reviewers. The journal’s editorial board will then consider the peer reviewerss reports and assemble the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript for publication. Language used in this journal is Indonesian, English, and Arabic.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the content of the hadith of Ka'ab bin Mālik regarding the most important human explanations. This research is descriptive research using library method and approaches of Study of Ma'ānī Hadith and Sabab Wurūd Hadith. The results of this research found several things. First, the hadith of Ka'ab bin Mālik is a very weak hadith because it was narrated through Mu'āwiyah bin Yaḥya which was weakened by the ulama of al-Jarḥ wa al-Ta'dīl. However, this hadith has also been narrated from other channels, namely from the Abū Ẓār hadith which is also a little weak and the hadith of 'Umar bin al-Khattāb with hasan sanad, so that some hadith scholars have judged this hadith as authentic or at least as hasan hadith. Second, the Sabab Wurūd hadith of Ka'ab bin Mālik was a sahabah's question to the Messenger of Allah about who is the most important human being in the sight of Allah. The answer given by Rasulullah saw. adjust to the situation of the sahabah who asks him. Third, this hadith contains the message that the most important human beings are believers, children of believers, and fathers of believers. This is based on the content of the Bukhārī hadith where the Prophet said that the truly a noble person, the son of a noble person, the son of a noble person, the son of a noble person, is Yūsuf bin Ya'qūb bin Ishāq bin Ibrāhīm, the beloved of Allah.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the manhaj (method) used by Imam al-Nawawī in writing the books of al-Irsyād and al-Taqrīb. This type of research is library research (library review), using qualitative descriptive analytical methods. The results of this research show that the discussion content in the book of al-Irsyād is greater than in the book of al-Taqrīb. This is because in compiling the book of al-Irsyād, Imam al-Nawawī mentioned many core and non-core things (if deemed necessary), kept Ibn al-Ṣalāh's expression and arrangement, mentioned the arguments, examples and provide additions, taḥqīq and tadqīq. As for the book of al-Taqrīb, al-Nawawī is not bound by the use of Ibn al-Ṣalāh's expressions and structures, summarizing additional meanings from the book al-Irsyād, or even not mentioning them again. Furthermore, it was found that in writing these two books, al-Nawawī did the following things: Taqyīd Mutlaq, Taṣḥīḥ Miṡāl, Tauḍīḥ Qā'idah, Syarḥ al-Ma'nā, Ziyādah Far', Rad' 'alā al-Muṣannif and Qaṣr al -'Ibārāt au al-Īṭāl on the Muqaddimah of Ibn al-Ṣalāḥ.

Abstract

This research aims to comprehensively analyze the Sunnah as a source of Islamic Law and will explain the meaning of nāṣir and inkār al-Sunnah. This research uses a type of library research because this study completely requires a review of the written works of experts related to the discussion. This research is also normative because it will examine the texts of the Koran and Hadith or the thoughts of scholars related to the discussion. The results of this research found that the ulama agreed that the sunnah was the source of Islamic teachings after the Koran. Inkār al-Sunnah is an understanding that rejects the blasphemy of the Sunnah as a source of Islamic law and this understanding is divided into two groups, namely: first, rejecting all hadith as jahah; second, only accepting mutawatir hadith as proof. One of the factors causing understanding is a lack of knowledge, especially in the field of hadith science.
