Abstract

Planning which are important and strategic functions in education should be carried out by means of system approach. Educational management system approach is elaborated in comprehensive system approach and input-output approach. System approach, according to its goals, is oriented toward the use of various appropriate concepts of system theory. Abstract

nformation technology (IT) has become major facilitators for business practices, has yielded great contribution towards fundamental changes upon organizational structures, operations, and management. Automatic Telling Machine (ATM) , e-commerce, online e-banking transfer, are the examples of the application of the technology and has made human’s life even easier. The advancement of IT also contributes to educational system. Web-based learnings (e-learnings) are continuously developed by IT practitioners. Profiles of educational institutions, starting from basic level up to university ones, are easily accessed by society regardless where they live due to IT developments. Therefore, there should be great attempts made the government, especially Ministry of Education and Culture, to ensure that IT can reach all level of society and get rid of the possibility of quality gaps of education.Kata kunci: kualitas pendidikan, teknologi, informasi

Abstract

This study aimed at describing students’ ability in finding solutions of the problems dealing with managerial problems found at Islamic schools as the conducted survey. Based on the data analysis and discussion, it was found that the students’ ability in finding solution was good. Students’ response toward the learning process of Manajemen Pendidikan (Educational Management) subject employing Islamic school management survey in general was effective because  most of students gave positive responses.Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis masalah, manajemen pendidikan, dan survei manajemen madrasah

Abstract

Arabic has unique characteristics which are found in other languages. This makes Arabic a flexible language and has high of elasticity. As a result, in fulfilling and maintaining its function as a means for communication, a medium of delivering Islamic information, a tool for recording of knowledge, Arabic has been able to carry out them very well. However, due to its nature, discussing about Arabic cannot be separated from sounds and meanings since language is basically sounds which produced by the speaker to reveal his thoughts and feelings to achieve particular purposes. Sounds (lafaz) are limited while meanings develop in line with the development in science and technology. As a result, the more findings have been made, the more meanings are required to reveal the findings. In this context, the phenomena of single sound implies several meanings or one meaning required more sounds in Arabic are known as isytirak al-lafzi wa al-maknahu wa al-tuudad. Further and deeper studies need to carry out to avoid the possible mistakes in expressing meanings of Arabic words, especially those of the Holy Quran.Kata kunci:  ترادف ,  لغة

Abstract

Teacher plays strategic roles in realizing qualified human resources. Any attempts made in improving human resources quality without involving teacher will end in difficulties since the teacher is the key persons in determining the quality of education. Consequently, teachers are expected to have professionalism by mastering such competencies as pedagogic, professional, social and personal. To ensure the mastery of those competencies, various programs need to carry out. Abstract

The aim of this study was to produce valid, practical and effective Arabic instructional materials for students majoring in nursing department of STIKES Purna Bhakti Husada Batusangkar. This study employed research and development design, especially IDI (instructional development institute) which consisted of three phase analysis: front-end analysis, prototype and assessment. The findings of the study showed that the instructional materials were valid both in terms of content and construct, practical and effective.Kata kunci: bahan ajar, komunikatif, keperawatan, penelitian pengembangan

Abstract

Low quality of education in Indonesia is partly contributed by teachers’ low quality, especially in terms of professionalism. The problems dealing with teachers’ professionalism must be comprehensively solved dealing with prosperity, qualification, upgrading, protection, registration, certification, and license. This is due to the fact that   teacher is considered a profession; not just an ordinary job. This can be seen from internal perspectives, where strengthening social position, job protection, salary improvement, and legal status of this profusion. From external perspectives, the demands that the quality teaching profession should not only be assessed by the training institutions that produce them but also the users, such as profession associations, communities and the institutions where the teachers work. Therefore, models for developing and improving teachers professionalisms in Indonesia are urgently needed.Kata kunci: profesionalisme, guru, mutu, pendidikan

Vocabulary learning is very necessary and an indispensable part of any language learning process. Abstract

he aims of this study were: 1) to figure out the way of creating religious atmosphere among teachers, 2) to figure out the way of creating religious atmosphere in terms of instructional materials, 3) to figure out the way of creating religious atmosphere in school environment where the educational process took place. To make sure that the students have Islamic characters (akhlaq) in primary education level by merely giving them understanding toward Islam were not effective. Conversely, familiarizing and modeling from teachers, parents, and Islamic environment gave better influence toward students’ religious characters formation.Kata kunci: pendidik, materi pelajaran integral, lingkungan sekolah

Abstract

This article discusses about the factors which may cause language death or language dissappear.  Based on some linguists’ research there are several factors that might cause the death of the language.  They are: natural disaster, war and ethnic clearance, epidemic sickness, hegemony of a foreign language, inferior of language sense, migration, political decision, and intercultural marriage problem.  In this article the writer would like to anlayze each point of the factors above.  The conclusion is a language is like other human life; born, live, develop, lying up and death.  This phenomenon is called survival of the fittest; the majority language will hit the minority language along its life.Kata kunci:  faktor, kematian, bahasa, dissappear
