Abstract

Along with the use of information technology in almost all sectors of life, making databases has a very important role in being able to store and process large amounts of data effectively, and high performance is required when processing the database. The Nosql database is widely used in managing very large amounts of data besides that it is also an open source database, but so far many still use the mysql database which is an open source DBMS and has many communities. This paper will compare the performance between a relational database that stores structured data (Sql) and a database with a dynamic and unstructured schema (Nosql). Specifically the database being compared between MariaDB and MongoDB. An experiment will be carried out by performing a query insert, update, delete on the two databases, with the number of records of 500, 1000, 5000, 7500 and 10000, besides that, it is also tested for a select query without criteria, with 1 criterion and 2 criteria. And from the experiments conducted it can be concluded that for insert, update and delete queries on a single NoSQL table has a much better response time. Whereas the select query without NoSQL criteria also has a better response time, but to display all data with criteria, especially the two database criteria, the SQL version has a better response time than NoSQL.

Abstract

The need for flexibility in application development by minimizing the constraints of a server production environment makes n-tier architectures increasingly used. This architecture is implemented in the form of middleware or often called API. REST API is an API architecture that is currently the most widely used for middleware-based application development. PHP is an easy-to-use programming language for developing REST APIs with its microframework. Each microframework has features such as database connection handling, URL routing, and performance is the top one. The large number of PHP microframeworks with different performance issues makes the selection of API-based application development cores very important. Especially if it is projected to handle data exchange or client requests in large numbers. As a basis for selection, performance testing needs to be carried out on each microframework to determine its suitability for API-based application development. Performance testing uses the load testing method and develops the popular PHP microframework as a basis for creating test applications. The microframework includes FatFree, Lumen, Phalcon-micro, and Slim. Testing is carried out systematically using a test plan that has been designed for performance testing needs. The focus is to analyze the RPS (Request Per Seconds) and latency to the percentile that the wrk2 test tool generates on a predetermined test type

Abstract

The pandemic due to the corona virus at the end of 2019 (covid-19) has caused changes in the order of life, including education. Social and physical distancing in tackling the spread of Covid-19 affect the learning model. Starting from early childhood education to the university level applying an online learning model. This study analyzes the completeness of the online model of learning English. The analysis was carried out by using profile matching method on 430 student data from three universities in Yogyakarta. Completeness of learning is divided into 5 levels based on 4 components. The results showed that the level of completeness of online learning in all areas of higher education was 89.1%. The analysis of the results shows that the level of learning completeness of IT students is better than non-IT students, respectively 90.5% (IT) and 88.6% (Non-IT).

Abstract

The main task of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi lecturers, one of which is to carry out research. At STMIK AKAKOM, lecturer research can be carried out independently or in groups with funding sources from independent, internal universities and grants from the government. After conducting the research, they are required to do publications in the form of journals, research seminars, IPR and other outputs. To see the performance of lecturers in the field of research, analysis is necessary. The analysis of the decision support system developed in this study uses the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method. Aspects used as employee performance criteria include the number of research funded, the amount of funds received, the number of national journal outputs, the number of international journal outputs, the number of national seminar outputs, the number of international seminar outputs, the number of intellectual property rights. The result of this research is a program used to analyze the performance of lecturers in the research field.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 2 Dompu is one of the vocational high schools located in Dompu Regency, the school already has a wireless network, but the large number of uses in one access point device results in an unstable internet network or the network being slow because it has not used an optimal configuration. The proxy-based Hotspot Server network uses the Mikrotik Simple Queue feature at schools to centrally manage hotspot networks and can manage bandwidth evenly. The method used in this research is the data collection method, namely the method of observation and literature study methods, the method of quantitative data analysis using network performance parameters namely delay, throughtput, packet loss and the Wireshark application. The results of designing and optimizing the performance of the Mikrotik-based Hotspot Server network at schools can run well and Bandwidth management has been successfully managed by Simple Queue. In the throughput test, the average result is 46.9% KB. The average packet loss results are 0%, because after analyzing all packets there are no missing packets or in other words all packets have been sent to the destination. While Delay get an average result of 39 ms

Abstract

Network analysis can describe a network that must be run in a certain order and is limited by time, one of which is to complete a project. PERT / CPM is a method in network analysis that can be used to solve problems in a work project. Graph is a chapter / discussion in Discrete Mathematics. Graph is a collection of vertices and edges. In the discussion of graph, there is a discussion about trees, it is a graph that is undirected and does not contain circuits. In a tree, it can be determined that the minimum spanning tree / minimum spanning tree is a sub or part of the Graph in the form of a tree and has the same number of nodes as the initial Graph. The road construction project is one of the projects that is suitable for analysis using the spanning tree application in order to obtain the optimal road construction route with the shortest distance between locations. And using PERT / CPM network analysis to get the right order of work so that the work can be completed appropriately both the time used and the costs incurred
