Abstract

The existence of mosques serves as one of the proofs of the Islamization process in Indonesia, as well as historical evidence of the development of Islam. This research aims to trace the role and significance of mosques in the Islamization process. Masjid Jamik Siulak was chosen as the research object due to its authentic historical background in spreading Islam among the Kerinci community in Jambi. This study is a qualitative research that employs three data collection techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that Masjid Jamik Siulak, besides being a place of worship, also plays a role in social activities and the education of teenagers and children. These roles have been in place since the early development of Islam until the present, making Masjid Jamik Siulak an important evidence in the development of Islam in Kerinci.

Abstract

This research focuses on understanding the relationship between disability and media logic in religious programs, specifically in the Hafiz Indonesia program that aired during the month of Ramadan. It received significant appreciation, as evidenced by the number of subscribers on the Hafiz Indonesia YouTube channel, which reached 1.53 million. The data was collected through observation of YouTube social media and analyzed using Charles Sanders Peirce’s semiotic theory, which develops a triadic model known as the “triangle meaning semiotics,” as well as Brewis Alexander’s body image theory. The findings of this study reveal that there is still stereotyping of individuals with disabilities in the media, with the media often portraying them as models of resolution and restraint.

Abstract

The family is a group of people who join together as one because of blood ties and kinship. The more members there are in the family, the more opinions will be raised. Families are vessels for shelter, protection, spilling love, and sharing all sorrows as well. In the digital age, many families are affected by constant change and circumstances. That's when each opinion of the family members will clash and even tear each other down. It cannot be avoided by anyone because everyone is obliged to resolve it. This research is library research, which is a study that uses literature by examining books, and other sources of information that are relevant to the scope of the discussion. The results show that conflicts in modern families occur due to several factors, namely childcare patterns, family economy, and unequal domestic burdens. The lack of communication space between family members is also a cause of conflict in the family.

Abstract

The SIMPONI application is an integrated and comprehensive web-based online computerized system that can be accessed at any time to generate valid data reports in the management of non-tax state revenue. Traffic fines are one of the non-tax state revenues whose amounts are determined by court decisions based on the Indonesian Law Number 22 Year 2009 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation. The process of managing traffic fines in the Jambi State Prosecutor's Office is still done manually, even though the number of traffic violations in the city of Jambi is relatively high. If the data processing process is not accompanied by technological updates, an ineffective and inefficient work system will be created. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness and efficiency of the integration between SIMPONI and the e-tilang application of the Indonesian State Prosecutor's Office in the Jambi State Prosecutor's Office working area. The results of this study can be known through the e-tilang application of the Indonesian State Prosecutor's Office v.2.0, where the public can directly pay traffic fines to the state treasury using billing codes. This application has been integrated with SIMPONI, making it easier for officers to reconcile non-tax state revenue, which serves as the basis for financial reporting.
