Abstract

Serotinus is one of the obstetric complications that needs to be watched out for and there is a high risk of caesarean section during delivery. These complication will be made worse if the mother experiences anemia which can cause uterine atony, post partum bleeding and even lead to maternal death. According to WHO (2021), the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is 329,000 per 100,000 live births, data from the Brebes Health Office in 2022 is 105 cases, and data from the Paguyangan Community Health Center (2021) is 4 cases. Researchers implemented comprehensive midwifery care using Varney and SOAP documentation. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection used interview methods, observation, physical examination, supporting examinations, medical records, KIA books and other literature. The main informant is Mrs. A, while additional informants were midwives, general practitioners, obstetricians, nutrition officers, laboratory officers, husbands and families. Based on the results of pregnancy, childbirth, newborn, postpartum and family planning care, there were only problems in pregnancy at the age of 29+1, namely breech and oblique presentation and mild anemia with HB 9.6 g/dL and at the gestational age of 31+3, namely underestimation of fetal weight.

Abstract

Pregnancy risk factors that cause complications and maternal mortality are high risk at age ≤ 20 years and chronic energy deficiency. The pregnancy rate for pregnant women ≤ 20 years old at Bumiayu Health Center in 2022 was 7 cases, while the incidence of SEZ at Bumiayu Health Center in 2022 was 56 cases. One of the efforts to reduce the high risk factors of age ≤ 20 years and SEZ by providing comprehensive care. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, data collection using interviews, physical examinations, supporting examinations, obstetric examinations, observations, documentation studies, literature studies and literature. The main informant is Mrs.S and additional informants are midwives and husbands. Based on the results of comprehensive midwifery care performed on Mrs.S during pregnancy Mrs.S found the problem that TFU was not in accordance with gestational age.

Abstract

Based on the results of Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2013, the prevalence of stunting among toddlers in Indonesia was 37.2%. Then in 2018 there was a national decline to 30.8% (RI Ministry of Health, 2018). Thus, the incidence of stunting in Indonesia is still a problem that needs consideration because the national prevalence is still above the tolerance set by WHO, which is only 20%. The aim is to determine the relationship between pregnancy spacing and the incidence of stunting at the South Tapanuli Pargarutan Community Health Center in 2023. Stunting is caused by several factors, one of which is namely maternal factors (mother's knowledge regarding nutritional status, exclusive breastfeeding and complementary foods for breast milk. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a cross sectional research design. The sample for this study was 68 people. Based on the results of statistical tests using the Chi-Square test, it was found that p value is 0.042

Abstract

Abortion can endanger the mother's health because it can cause bleeding, uterine perforation, infection and shock. Bleeding occurs due to not yet releasing all the products of conception from the endometrial wall, so that the blood vessels are always open to empty the uterus of the remaining products of conception. The next consequence of abortion is perforation, perforation occurs when scraping/curettage, if this happens it is necessary to carry out a laparotomy according to the extent of the perforation. Infection can occur due to the accumulation of dead and rotting products of conception in the body, causing infection, shock, can occur in cases of abortion due to severe infection or profuse bleeding. The incidence of abortion in Indonesia in 2012 was 4%. The aim is to determine the relationship between gestational age and distance with the incidence of abortion in 2023. termination of the pregnancy process before the gestational age is less than 28 weeks (Manuaba, 2010). Abortion is the ending of a pregnancy through any means, spontaneous or artificial, before the fetus is able to survive with limitations based on gestational age and body weight. This research is an observational analytical research with a research design control cases. The samples taken to support this research were all abortion patients at the Pargarutan Health Center, South Tapanuli, totaling 30 people.

Abstract

Umbilical cord care is care carried out on the umbilical cord to avoid infection in the baby's umbilical cord. Try to keep the umbilical cord dry, make sure it is not wet or damp because damp conditions trigger the growth of germs that cause infection. The high morbidity and mortality rate of newborns throughout the world is caused by infection, so correct and good umbilical cord care is needed to reduce the risk of infection and reduce IMR. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between postpartum mothers' knowledge of umbilical cord care. From the research results, it is known that good umbilical cord care with a length of umbilical cord removal <1 week is as many as 16 respondents (88.9%) while a length of time to remove the umbilical cord is >1 week, namely as many as 2 respondents (11.1%). Poor umbilical cord care with umbilical cord removal time <1 week was 7 respondents (50%) while cord removal time was >1 week, namely 7 respondents (50%). The results of the analysis of the relationship between umbilical cord care and length of umbilical cord removal using the formula x2 (chi square) with p value = 0.015 (P < 0.05). So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the umbilical cord and the length of time the umbilical cord falls off.

Abstract

Background: Fatigue is a process of decreased work performance, work efficiency, and reduced physical strength or endurance to continue activities or work. Data from the International Labor Organization (ILO) in 2012 states that every year 2.3 million people die due to disease or work accidents. In a day there are 847 cases of work accidents, of which around 36% of work accidents that occur are caused by fatigue. Several factors cause fatigue, including environmental factors, namely noise and lighting. The impacts of work fatigue include decreased motivation, and performance, low productivity, work errors, work-related illnesses, and work accidents. Based on initial information from several workers at POM PT. X, it is known that some workers claim to be tired at work. Objective: To determine the relationship between noise intensity and work fatigue in workers at POM PT. X Rokan Hulu 2020.Method: Analytical observational research with a cross-sectional approach, sample of 135 people. The sampling technique was carried out by total sampling which was tested statistically using the chi-square test. Results: There is a relationship between noise intensity and work fatigue (p-value = 0.022).

Abstract

Febrile seizures are seizures that occur in children aged 6 months to 5 years who experience an increase in body temperature (temperature above 38.0C, by any temperature measurement method) which is not caused by an intracranial process. (1) Febrile seizures are divided into febrile seizures simple and complex. Simple febrile seizures are common at onset, last less than 15 minutes, and do not occur more than once in 24 hours. Complex seizures are longer lasting, have focal symptoms, and can recur within 24 hours. We report a case of sudden high fever since 1 day ago accompanied by with seizures lasting 1 day for < 5 minutes. During a seizure, the patient is unconscious with his eyes upturned, his whole-body stiff. Denied cough complaints. Nausea and vomiting denied. Defecate once a day, the consistency is soft and yellowish in color. Urination no complaints.
