Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of handling passengers who will transit or stop and the handling of passengers who require special handling. In this study, the authors used descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. The results of this study explain that the services provided by Sriwijaya Air officers for arrival services, especially in handling transit or transfer passengers and passengers who require special handling at the destination airport, are by procedures. In handling transit passengers, there are two services: when transit passengers do not change planes and when transit passengers change planes. The Sriwijaya Air officer provides particular passenger handling for each passenger category, so there are no errors in passenger service. It can be concluded that the handling of transit or transfer and handling of special passengers is carried out by procedures that are carried out properly by Sriwijaya Air.

Abstract

This study aims to target Kotagede's tourist attractions, which lie in its historical and cultural heritage, including traditional houses and heritage sites, as well as performances, culinary, and art. The region's historical significance, since the establishment of the Mataram kingdom, provides a wealth of wealth for visitors to explore. Preserving traditional architecture, such as traditional wooden joglo houses and eclectic merchant houses, adds to Kotagede's appeal as a heritage city. This research uses a qualitative method approach to describe the natural condition of objects, where the researcher is the key instrument. The reason researchers choose descriptive research is to be able to describe systematically and accurately facts and characteristics about the population or a particular field. Kotagede's characteristics align with urban tourism's attributes, the first of which is connectivity. In this region, spaces between regions are connected by narrow streets and alleys of community housing. Each tourist attraction place is also equipped with signs and signs. Some roads are arranged to be one way that is useful for regulating traffic density. Furthermore, tourist activities and attractions are heterogeneous. Kotagede attracts different types of tourists with different motivations. From those who want to walk, go on a study trip, culinary to pilgrimage. In the Kotagede area, there are overlapping events between the activities of residents and tourists, such as residents shopping at the market while tourists explore culinary.

Abstract

Tourism requires risk management for its sustainability. With risk management, we can prevent the peril that causes losses, especially in tourism. Looking at the current conditions, the rampant piracy cases of tourism products certainly require a strategy as a preventive measure. Especially with the development of society 5.0, of course, it makes the hazard of these risks even more significant. Moreover, it gives new exposure to tourism management. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy makes a strategy to protect tourism products by collaborating with the Director General of IPR of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and training tourism actors to carry out legal protection by owning Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The IPR was registered with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights of the Ministry of Human Rights. Tourism management in Indonesia requires instilling in the community and local tourism entrepreneurs an understanding of the importance of IPR ownership. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is intensively organizing socialization of the importance of IPR to tourism actors, which will be held in December 2021 in various cities to prevent theft of culture and tourism products to realize sustainable tourism. One of them is in Cirebon City; at the end of December, an Intellectual Property Class will contain education about IPR.

Abstract

This paper discusses how Panjang Jimat comes from the words "Panjang" and "Jimat". The word Panjang means the lifetime of man, while Jimat or "ji" or siji means one, and "mat" or crushed means something to be remembered, guarded, and preserved. So, Panjang Jimat means something or one that a lifetime of man must remember, guard, and defend. This research uses a qualitative method approach to describe the natural condition of objects, where the researcher is the key instrument. The reason researchers choose descriptive research is to be able to describe systematically and accurately facts and characteristics about the population or a particular field. The researcher here intends to provide an overview of a particular social phenomenon that already exists. Panjang Jimat as a custom of the Cirebon palace began in the 15th century to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW especially. At this time, Panjang Jimat ceremony was organized by the existence of the Kasepuhan Palace Foundation as a formal legal entity organization, further strengthening the identity of the Kasepuhan Palace today. This phenomenon is seen in the holding of Panjang Jimat Ceremony.
