Abstract

There are 8 officers at the registration section of the Assalam Gemolong General Hospital. Activities in one shift not only serve the registration of RJ, RI and IGD patients but also find and retrieve medical record documents to the filing rack, after that officers still submit medical record documents to the polyclinic and ER. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays many patients go to Assalam Gemolong General Hospital for treatment, so that the registration officer has difficulty in patient registration services. As a result, patient queues will pile up because there are only 3 registration counters. The method used is the WISN method with available working time stages, workload standards, allowance standards and labor requirements. The research sample was 8 registration officers. Research instruments in the form of observation guidelines, interview guidelines, stopwatches, calculators, stationery. The results showed that the available working time was the morning shift for registration of RJ, RI and IGD 117,600 minutes, the afternoon shift for registration of RJ, RI and IGD 100,800 minutes and the night shift for registration of the IGD and RI 194,700 minutes for hospitalization. The registration officer's work unit consists of 3 high school graduates and 5 medical record graduates. The standard workload of registration for morning shifts is RJ and IGD 10,556.55 minutes/year and registration for RI 7,829.56 minutes/year, registration for evening shifts for RJ and IGD is 9,048.47 minutes/year and registration for RI 6,711.05 minutes/year and registration for night IGD shifts 17,447.55 minutes/year and RI Registration 12,962.71 minutes/year. The standard allowance for the morning shift is 1.146, the day shift is 1.4 and the night shift is 0.23. The need for labor requires additional registration personnel on the afternoon shift as many as 1 officer from 3 existing officers.

Abstract

In health services in hospitals, medical record file missfiles often occur, thus making health services note optimal. The patient's personal data and medical data are in the medical records files, if the medical records file is not immediately found due to a missfile incident, the officer cannot take medical action immediately. The The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that cause missfiles in the filing room of RSUD dr. Soeratno Gemolong. Abstract

Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a rapid-onset infection caused by the Dengue virus that can lead to severe shock and even death. Pometia pinnata, a plant found in the Maluku region, possesses untapped therapeutic potential despite the presence of secondary metabolite chemicals believed to have larvicidal properties. This study aims to evaluate the biolarvicidal efficacy of the leaf extract of Pometia pinnata against Aedes aegypti's larvae, a DHF carrier. The extraction process used the maceration technique employing ethanol as the solvent. A larvicidal experiment was performed to evaluate the bioactivity against Aedes aegypti larvae. The findings indicated that the leaf extract of Pometia pinnata possesses larvicidal properties against Aedes aegypti larvae, as evidenced by an LC50 value of 0.101%. The results offer insights into the possible utilisation of Pometia pinnata leaf extract as a viable source of active compounds for developing biolarvicides to control dengue vectors.

Abstract

The global impact of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) includes anxiety disorders, which further worsen the impact and are associated with poor medication adherence, recurrent hospitalization, and poorer outcomes. The study aimed to assess the prevalence and correlates of anxiety disorders among CALWHA attending antiretroviral clinics at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital. It was a comparative cross-sectional study, adopting a random systematic sampling method. The instruments used were the socio-demographic questionnaire, clinical proforma, and the Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Aged Children Present and Lifetime Version (K-SAD-PL). Data analysis was done using SPSS version 26. The study population comprises 83 males (51.9%) and 77 females (48.1%). The participants ranged from 6-18 years, with a mean age of 11.4 years (SD=3.15). The prevalence of anxiety disorders among CALWHA is 22.0%. The disclosure of HIV status to CALWHA was more likely to be associated with any anxiety disorder. This was even still significant statistically after adjusting for gender (OR=2.8, CI=1.1-7.1 and (OR=2.8, CI=1.1-7.1) respectively. There is a high prevalence of anxiety disorders among the CALWHA. We, therefore, recommend the need to integrate mental health services into the care of HIV and reinforce consultation liaison psychiatry among children and adolescents.

Abstract

Lower Back Pain (LBP) is a frequently reported issue among people in different domains, including students enrolled in nursing education programmes. Nursing students frequently endure prolonged periods of sitting during their participation in lecture activities. An unergonomic sitting posture and extended periods of sitting can increase the likelihood of experiencing lower back pain (LBP) complaints. This study investigated the correlation between sitting posture and duration and the occurrence of low back pain (LBP) complaints in nursing students at the College of Health Sciences of Pasapua Ambon. This research methodology was characterised by its analytical nature and relies on primary data collected using a cross-sectional approach. A total of 76 participants were included in the study, and they were provided with a Google form including a questionnaire to complete. The acquired data was subsequently examined using both univariate and bivariate methods. The findings indicated no statistically significant correlation between the sitting posture and complaints of lower back pain (LBP). A notable correlation existed between the amount of time spent sitting and lower back pain (LBP) symptoms. These findings suggest that focusing on the amount of time spent sitting rather than the specific sitting posture to reduce lower back pain complaints among university students is more crucial. This highlights the necessity of restricting extended periods of sitting while also emphasising the importance of taking sufficient breaks and engaging in frequent stretching.
