Abstract

There are two sides to the view of the Al-Qur'an, namely that the Al-Qur'an is a book for Muslims which has no disagreements in it (ikhtilaf) but on the other hand there are verses in the Al-Qur'an which pronounce the nasakh pronunciation, namely in verse 106 Q.S. Al-Baqarah. Because of this, there are differences in the points of view of our ulama into two groups. First, those who accept and provide support for the text which means that in the Qur'an there is an annulment. These scholars include Ibnu Kasir and Ahmad Mustafa al-Maragi. Second, they do not accept nasakh in the sense of canceling the law that Allah directly revealed and they interpret nasakh as the same as takhsis or more specifically. The class of scholars included 'Abd al-Muta'al al-Jabri and Muhammad al-Bahi. So it is not surprising that the discussion related to Nasikh Wa al-Mansukh is an interesting topic to study.

Abstract

The practice of polygamy has existed long before Islam and has become a permissible custom. Unfortunately, many people assume that polygamy is a practice that was only known after the arrival of Islam. Ironically, Islam is considered to monopolize and legalize polygamy. In reality, Islam came by providing restrictions on polygamous marriages with certain limitations. Justice in polygamy is an obligation that must receive special attention, because the word "fair" is very easy to say but difficult to implement. In this study, the author focuses on the verses of the Qur'an related to polygamy, namely; Surah An-Nisa' verse 3. This type of research is entirely library research taking data from literature related to the research theme. The analysis technique in this writing uses a content analysis model by exploring and analyzing the thoughts or views of scholars on the verses of the Qur'an related to polygamy.

Abstract

Before Islam came, Javanese people believed in sending prayers to the dead so that they would be safe until Nirvana and could rest in peace. After Islam came, this tradition of sending prayers was not immediately eliminated. However, it was given a pattern containing Islamic values by Sunan Kalijaga. So that an acculturation was created between Islam and the culture of sending prayers which was given the name fida. Fida is an activity carried out by Javanese people after death. This activity includes reading the letter al-Ikhlas a thousand times or reading tahlil 70,000/71,000 times which is addressed to the deceased with the aim of avoiding the torment of hellfire and getting rewards. This study attempts to find out the views of the Sumoroto Village community, Kauman District, Ponorogo Regency about fida. (1) How is the practice of fida in the Sumoroto Village community? (2) How do the Sumoroto Village community relate the practice of fida to the text of the hadith. In this study, the author tried to use the observation method, interviews, and documentation as data to support this research. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach to religion and anthropology of religious symbols by examining the concept of religiosity in the symbols present in the ritual. The results of the study concluded, (1) The meaning of fida for the people of Sumoroto Village is divided into two, namely burdening good deeds and freeing from the torment of hellfire (2) The views of the community about fida are diverse, such as getting rewards and being guaranteed by Allah SWT to avoid hell, as well as the growth of togetherness, helping each other, friendship and giving alms to the environment.

Abstract

For those who want to study the science of qira'at, they must know the difference between four key terms. Some people sometimes find it difficult to differentiate and then just mix them up. The four terms are qira'ah, riwayah, thariq, and wajh. In the science of Qira'at, mixing thariq in reading the Qur'an is called talfiq, takhlith or tarkib. Scholars who are experts in qira'at have warned the qurra' not to do talfiq in reading the Qur'an. Therefore, it is important for the qura' to study the narration of Hasfh from Imam Ashim which is used as a reference by most Muslims, especially in Indonesia. This research is entirely library research taking data from literature that is related to the research theme. The analysis technique in this writing uses a content analysis model by exploring and analyzing the thoughts or views of Jama'ah Tabligh on the Hadiths of the Prophet that they practice in their daily lives.
