The main product of the mango is its thatis usuallyconsumed in fresh or processed products. But in addition to the fruit,,other components that also played an important role were the mangoes leaves than can be benefit from medicinal plants as an alternative. This research aimed to obtain a diversity of mango tree based on morphological and anatomical analysis of plant the mango in the West Toboli village and Pombalowo Regency, Parigi Moutong Regency. This research was carried out in the village of West Toboli, District Toboli Parigi North and the village of Pombalowo sub-district of Parigi, Parigiranga Reddy District and Laboratory Science (FMIPA), the University of Tadulako conducted in July to August 2016. This research method using exploratory, as for a character that observed was the height of the plant (m), diameter (cm), the shape of the canopy, the long strands of leaves (cm) width (cm) leaf blade, petiole length (cm). Cluster analysis results in the village there were three groups of Western Toboli diverse namely TBB12, TBB14 and TBB11, in the village of Pombalowo there were three diverse groups namely PBL1, PBL5 and PBL8. Whereas in the second the village obtained a combined five diverse groups namely TBB12, TBB14, TBB2, PBL1 and TBB11. Characters that distinguished the selected accessions were the height of plants, and the diameter of the rod.

Abstract

Uncertainty of harvested area and the amount of durian production each year makes the price of the durian tend to fluctuate. Price changes can trigger price sensitivity at the consumer level. This study aimed to analyze the level of durian price sensitivity in Jepara Regency and Semarang City and analyze the factors that make the process of buying durian in Jepara Regency and Semarang City. The analysis used in this research was descriptive analysis and logistic regression analysis. The price suggests that the price of Jepara Regency and Semarang City is IDR 45,000.00 – 50,000.00. Overall price levels received durian consumers in the Semarang City was higher than Jepara Regency. Based on the results of logistic regression analysis, it is known that simultaneously the price factor, income, occupation, age, taste, shape, size, aroma, color. and size.

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the level of household poverty and analyzing the factors influencing the household poverty. The data were analyzed by using headcount index analysis, poverty gap analysis, distribution revenue analysis, total revenue of household analysis, and regression analysis. The poverty level can be seen from the seriousness of poverty index, namely 1.72 which means the poor household expenses various with the acerage value 1.72. the distribution revenue at Soi village, west Marawola district, Sigi regency showed that the average value of household income in 2017 was 246.000, with the coefficient Gini Ratio 0.22 or in the low inequality category. The results of regression analysis showed that the coefficient of terminated (R2) was 0.472. the total of household income variable gave negative significant influence with the coefficient of elasticity -2.341 (p < 0,05), the number of elasticity 3.325 (p<0.05), the age of head of household variable gave negative variable of land ownership gave positive insignificant influence with the value 0.726 and dummy variable of educational status of household gave positive significant influence with the value 0.633.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the rate of agricultural land conversion, analyze factors affectagricultural land conversion, and analyze the impact of land conversion on rice production in Sigi District. Data analysis used is analysis of conversion rate, logistic regression analysis, and analysis of impact production. Result obtained Conversion of paddy field that happened in Sigi District from year 2009 until year 2016 which is about 20,75% or 4,499 Ha. with average value of depreciation every year equal to 2,96% or equal to 645,57 Ha.Based on the results of logistic regression analysis obtained from 7 independent variables, only 3 variables that significantly affect the land conversion that occurred. The influential variables are land area, land selling price, and number of family dependents with Prob value. <α (10%). Variables that have no effect on land conversion are length of stay, duration of farming, yield, and selling price of paddy. Based on the results of production impact analysis, obtained the lost production capacity of 39,719.81 tons of dry milled grain or about 4,467.97 tons of dry milled grain per year.

Abstract

One of the most popular food products in Central Sulawesi is shredded beef, and sometimes aspects of food quality and safety were not given attention by producers or consumers. The objective of the study is to identify the chemical, microbiological and antioxidant properties of shredded beef produced and circulated in Palu City. This study uses a complete randomized design with 8 samples and each sample were repeated three times so that 24 samples were obtained with observed parameters including moisture content, ash content, protein content, fat content, total microbial count and antioxidant activity. The results showed that water content (5,04 -9,35%), ash content (3,59 - 5,74%), protein content (25,60-38,97%), fat content (19,20- 39,37%) and total microbial count (1,27-8,48 log cfu / g) and antioxidant activity as indicated by Inhibition Concentration / IC50 (3234,31 - 6740,5 ppm) and percentage of inhibition (35,63 - 80.27%). The results of this study indicate that shredded beef from various SMEs in the city of Palu is still partially met the quality standards based on SNI, so MSME guidance is needed periodically and continuously.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of mango plants relied on morphological and anatomical leaf of mango plants in the villages of Nambo and Laroue, subdistrict of East Bungku, Morowali district. An observation of morphological features was conducted in Nambo and Laroue, whereas anatomical observations had been made in the laboratory of Biotechnology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University Tadulako, from April to July in 2016. The morphological parameters observed includedage of the plant, plant height, stem diameter, canopy diameter, canopy shape and color bars. The alteration of leaf anatomy consists of the size of the stomata, the size of the epidermis, and stomatal index. Moreover, the resulthighlightsmorphological and anatomical characters observed on cluster analysis, described in the form of a dendrogram. The implication of the cluster analysis for two villages resultsin four accessions, namely NM1, NM2, NM15 and LR4 that can be benefited as the planting material of quality mango seeds which will be cultivated.
