Abstract

The objective of this research can be seen such as: 1) Examine the level of teacher preparation in light vehicle engineering package through implementing 2013 curriculum in SMK PGRI 3 Randudongkal based on performance and profesionalism, 2) Examine influenced changing factor through implementing light vehicle engineering skill package curriculum in SMK PGRI 3 Randudongkal. This research used descriptive approach with qualitative and quantitative data. Data source which is used is informant, place and event, document and archive document. The technique of taking sample is used selective technique such as purposive sampling. The technique of collecting data is observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire. The instrument of validity test uses technique of triangulation data sources and triangulation methods, meanwhile the validity for quantitative data uses expert judgment and numerical correlated number Pearson?s Product Moment Correlation which is used reliability test with Cronbach Alpha formula. The technique of data collection for qualitative data uses interactive analysis model, while data analysis for quantitative data concerns on value estimation. The result of this research shows that: 1) Teacher preparation in implementing curriculum 2013 based on teacher performance have achievement such as: a) lesson plan includes high category percentage with 66,67 %, teachers have done in making lesson plan perfectly because they prepare Lesson Plan before starting to learn. b) Learning implementation becomes at the high category with the acquisition of a percentage of 66.67%, teacher manages the class based on Lesson Plan that has been made before and implement learning strategy based on materials that has been taught. c) Learning assessment gets in the high category with the acquisition of a percentage of 66.67%, the teachers carry out an evaluation of the material that has been completed taught. 2) Teacher preparation in implementing 2013 curriculum based on professionalism have achievement such as: a) Professional competence in the high category with the acquisition of a percentage of 66.67%, the teacher has to know the basics of education in Indonesia; b) pedagogical competence in the high category with the acquisition of a percentage of 100%, teaching learning activities both from the planning, implementation and assessment of learning outcomes; c) Personality Competence in the high category with the acquisition of a percentage of 66.67%, a wise teacher has a personality and can be role models for students and for others outside of the school area; d) Social Competence at the high category with a percentage of 100% acquisition, teachers have good communication skills with students, as well as with other people. 3) the influenced factor which is create for changing curriculum in SMK PGRI 3 Randudongkal such as: a) SMK PGRI 3 Randudongkal has already committed to others school to follow curriculum changing b) future challenge as globalization, environment problem, information and technology advanced c). public perspective measure this education more significantly concern on cognitive aspect than character building.

Abstract

The purposes of the research are to: (1) know effect of electrolyzer application with varied diameters of copper wire on engine power of Honda Supra X 125D 2007 Motorcycle; (2) know effect of electrolyzer application with varied solutions on engine power of Honda Supra X 125D 2007 Motorcycle. (3) know interaction used varied of diameters copper wire and varied solutions on engine power of Honda Supra X 125D 2007 Motorcycle. The research used descriptive-quantitative method. Sample of the research was Honda Supra X 125D 2007 Motorcycle with machine number JB51E2015321. The research was performed in PT. MOTORCOURSE TECHNOLOGY (MOTOTECH) Yogyakarta and used dynamometer or Dynotest. Data is obtained from magnitudes of engine power with the addition of electrolyzer tube with varied diameters of copper wire and varied solutions. The data of research is listed on table and presented as graphic and then, it is analyzed. The results of the research indicated that (1) there were effects of electrolyzer application with varied diameters of copper wire on power engine of Honda Supra X 125D 2007 Motorcycle was found. Among copper wires with diameters of 1,5 mm, 2,5 mm, and 4,0 mm, it was found that copper wire with diameter of 1.5 mm produced best effect on improving engine power; (2) there were effects of electrolyzer application with varied solutions on engine power of Honda Supra X 125D 2007 Motorcycle. KOH and Na2SO4 were used as solutions, and the first solution had best effect on the improvement of engine power. (3) there were interaction used varied diameter of copper wire and varied solutions on engine power of Honda Supra X 125D 2007 Motorcycle. The biggest interaction to improve the engine power is used copper wire with diameter 1,5 mm and KOH solution. The engine power increased 1,74 % from standard machine condition.

Abstract

The objective of this research were to investigate: (1) the effect of the diameter of electromagnetic coil wire in the fuel line on the torque and power of Yamaha Jupiter Z motorcycle in 2007; (2) the effect of the position of installation and number of 9power of the spark plug wire on the torque and power of Yamaha Jupiter Z motorcycle in 2007; and (3) the simultaneous effect of the diameter of electromagnetic coil wire and the position of installation of 9power into the spark plug wire on the torque and power of Yamaha Jupiter Z motorcycle in 2007. This research used the experiment method. The research was conducted in Mototech (Motorcourse Technology) with the address on South Ring Road, Kemasan, Singosaren, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The instrument used to measure the torque and power was the dynotest of Dynojet SD325 type. The population of this research was Yamaha Jupiter Z in 2007 motorcycle and the sample of this research was Yamaha Jupiter Z in 2007 with machine number 2P2675042. The data of this reseach were analyzed by using the Two-way Analysis of Variance (ANNOVA). The results of this research were as follows: (1) there was a significant effect of the diameter of electromagnetic coil wire on the torque and power of Yamaha Jupiter Z motorcycle as indicated by the value of maximal torque of 8.82 Nm and the value of maximal power of 6263.88 Nm/s with the diameter of electromagnetic coil wire of 0.20 mm; (2) there was not any effect of the position of installation and number of 9Power of the spark plug wire on the torque. However, there is a significant effect of the position of installation and number of 9Power of the spark plug wire on the power of Yamaha Jupiter Z motorcycle as pointed out by the value of maximal power of 6263.88 Nm/s with all types of treatment of position of installation and number of 9Power; and (3) there was not any simultaneous effect of the diameter of electromagnetic coil wire and the position of installation and number of 9Power of the spark plug wire on the torque. However, there was a significant simultaneous effect of the diameter of electromagnetic coil wire and the position of installation and number of 9Power of the spark plug wire on the power as signified by the value of maximal power of 6263.88 Nm/s with the diameter of electromagnetic coil wire of 0.20 mm and the position of 1 piece of 9Power near the spark plug wire.

Abstract

The purposes of this research as follows to know the positive influence between teaching skill of the teacher and school facility of the study toward student achievementin subject Automotive Motor Repair grade XI TKR SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo either partially or simultaneously. This research uses quantitative research by inferensial statistical analysis planning. The population consists of 169 students. The sample consists of 118 students. The technique for collecting data is using questionnaire, and documentation. Based on data analysis result can be concluded such as: there is a positive influence between teaching skill of the teacher toward student achievement in subject Automotive Motor Repair, It is due to simple test linear regression available coefficient varible teaching skills of teachers is 0.5566. results of simple correlation analysis r=0.546 and commencing t testing=7.019>ttable=1.981, there is a positive influence between school facility of the study toward student achievement in subject Automotive Motor Repair, It is due to results of simple correlation analysis r=0.418 and commencing ttesting 7.019>ttable=1.981, there is a positive influence between teaching skill and school facility of the study toward student achievement in subject Automotive Motor Repair, It is based on the results of multiple linear regression result of value variable regression coefficient teaching skills is 0.479 and variable regression coefficient teaching skills in the school is 0.246, the results of multiple correlation analysis is r=0.607 an commencing Ftesting=33.605>Ftable=3.075.

Abstract

The purpose of study to determine the tutorials video learning method to produce better result than the conventional methods in the practice of Fuel Motor subjects in 11th  TKR class OF SMK Nagara Ngawi academic year 2013/2014.This research includes experimental research . Forms and researches strategy which used is a comparison between conventional learning with Tutorial Video learning innovation by using a control class population sample and experimental class. Total population in this study are 70 IIth students of Vehicle Engineering subjects of SMK Ngawi Nagara, consists of 2 class of automotive  in the  IIth grade (TKR 1 and 2 IIth class) on the fuel motor subjects in the academic year of 2013/2014. Samples are taken by a sampling total technique, the number samples are 70 students of IIth class Engineering Vehicle . Data collection technique is the competency test method. Data analysis techniques in this study is using normality test, homogeneity and hypotheses test by using the mean difference test two right- hand t test with significance level of 5 %.The results of this study shows that the effectiveness of the tutorial Video learning model of slit valve adjustment in improving student learning shows a significant difference with the conventional model of learning, the result learning of experimental group increased, and the average estimate of the results learning 75-95, the average study group experimental results of the 85.69. The results of the calculation of the difference average obtained t value = 84.024 > t table = 2.03. While the control group also increased, the average estimate of 60-80, the results average of the control study group 66.66. it shows that the result learning which used learning tutorial Video models of slit valve adjustment is better than using the conventional model. The conclusions of this study is the outcomes learning of the tutorial tutuorial video learning model of slit valve adjustment is better than the use of conventional methods It can be seen in the average value of a class that uses a learning model slit valve adjustment tutorial video turned out to greater outcomes learning is 85.69 while the results obtained by the conventional method of learning for 66.66. This implies that the learning model by using the tutorials Video learning of slit valve adjustment is more effective because the video stimulate the interest students, so that students are more active.

Abstract

The objective of this research are to investigate: (1) the effect of variation of Groundstrap wire diameter on the torque and power of Yamaha Jupiter-Z motorcycle 2007; (2) the effect of variation of ignition timing on the torque and power of Yahama Jupiter-Z motorcycle 2007; and (3) the effect of interaction between the variation of groundstrap wire diameter and variation of ignition timing on the torque and power of Yamaha Jupiter-Z motorcycle 2007. This research used the descriptive quantitative method. The sample of the research was Yamaha Jupiter-Z motorcycle 2007 with the engine serial number of 2P2675042. The research was conducted at Mototech Motocourse Technology, South Ringroadstreet , Bantul, Jogjakarta. The data of the research were obtained through documentation of the result of measurement of torque and power resulting from print out research tool Sportdyno V.3.3. that based from research groundstrap installation (with diameter of 0.25 mm and 0.40 mm), ignition timing (13° BTDC and 7° BTDC) and interaction of the groundstrap installation and the change of ignition timing. The results of the research are as follows: 1) The maximum torque of the standard condition test is 8.59 Nm, and the maximum power is 8.30 HP. The test with the groundstrap installation with the coil wire diameter of 0.25 mm results in the maximum power of 8.33 HP and the maximum torque of 8.89 Nm. Meanwhile, the groundstrap installation with the coil wire diameter of 0.40 mm results in the maximum torque of 8.89 Nm and the maximum power of 8.37 HP. 2) The test of the ignition timing of 7° BTDC results in the maximum torque of 8.89 Nm and the maximum power of 8.33 HP. Meanwhile, the test of ignition timing of 13° BTDC results in the maximum torque of 8.78 Nm and the maximum power of 8.50 HP. 3) The results of the test indicate that the highest maximum torque and power are obtained from the interaction of the treatment of ignition timing of 7° BTDC and the groundstrap installation with the coil wire diameter of 0.25 mm. The torque and power produced are 9.05 Nm and 8.57 HP respectively. 4) At 4500 rpm of the engine speed, the result of the research showed increase with more clear. Based on research, the result of the torque research at 4500 rpm showed the increase between 27% to 47%. The result of the power research showed the increase between 24% to 44%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigated the effect of additing bioethanol  inside premium gasoline against power, the effect of using iridium spark plugs against power, the effect of additing bioethanol  inside premium gasoline and the used of iridium spark plugs against power, the effect of additing bioethanol  inside premium gasoline against gas emissions, the effect of using iridium spark plugs against gas emissions, the effect of additing bioethanol  inside premium gasoline and the used of iridium spark plugs against gas emissions, and the measure of comparison between bioethanol with gasoline that optimum and safe to daily/long term used in Yamaha Mio J motorcycle year 2012 with injection engine. Based on the results of this study, obtained results as follows: (1) There is effect of additing bioethanol levels in gasoline and the used of iridium spark plugs, against 2012 Yamaha Mio J Model?s power and the gas emissions of it?s injection engine on default condition from the factory. (2) Addition of bioethanol levels showed higher levels of bioethanol were added due to the resulting engine power is getting low. The maximum and significant decline occurred in 50% mix of bioethanol content. The power value is achieved 7.38 of HP, occured a decline in the power value by 13.97% from the standard conditions. (3) The use of iridium spark plugs at all bioethanol treatment levels, only shows the change in the average decline of 0.075 HP when compared with the use of a standard spark plug at all bioethanol treatment levels. (4) In addition of bioethanol levels, the higher levels of bioethanol were added, the CO and HC exhaust emissions produced by the engine was lower. The decrease in CO and HC exhaust emissions occurred in 50% mix of bioethanol content and the values were achieved at 0.25%, and 51.5 ppm, occured impaired CO and HC exhaust emissions respectively at 15.67% and 39.05% in standard conditions. (5) In addition levels, the bioethanol blend in with the used of premium fuel and iridium spark plugs, a significant decline in the power value occurred in the treatment?s provision in the form of the iridium spark plugs used and  40% bioethanol and 50% mix levels, the rated power achieved is 7.9 HP and 7.28 HP. Occured on both these treatments impaired the power of 7.93% and 15.15%. (6) In addition levels of bioethanol blend in with the used of premium fuel and iridium spark plugs, a significant decline in the value of CO exhaust emissions occurred in the treatment?s provision in the form of the iridium spark plugs used and  0%, 40%, and 50% mix levels, the rated value of CO exhaust emissions achieved is 0.235%, 0.216%, dan 0.204%. On third these treatments impaired the value of CO exhaust emissions of 21.67%, 28%, dan 32%, when its compared with standard conditions. While the HC exhaust emissions, a significant reduction in the value of emissions occur in the treatment by using iridium spark plugs and the using of 30%, 40%, and 50% mixture bioethanol content, which is equal to 54.75 ppm, 45.75 ppm, and 42.25 ppm. On third these treatments impaired the value of HC exhaust emissions by 35.21%, 45.86%, and 50%, when its compared with the standard conditions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research as followws to know the positive influence between employment work information and  work industry practice experience toward mental readiness into work world of the student class XII in light vehicle mechanic program SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo either partially or simultaneously. The study was conducted using quantitative research by inferensial statistical analysis planning. The population consists of 181 students. The sample consists of 125 students. The technique for collecting data is using questionnaire. Based on the research result we can coclude: there are positive and significant relationship between employment work information with mental readiness into work world of the student class XII in light vehicle mechanic program SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo with taccount>ttable = 9.459 >2.616. There are positive and significant relationship between work industry practice experience with mental readiness into work world of the student class XII in light vehicle mechanic program SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo with and taccount>ttable = 8.650 >2.616.There are positive and significant relationship between employment work information and work industry practice experience with mental readiness into work world of the student class XII in light vehicle mechanic program SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo with Faccount>Ftable = 59.123>4.783.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a correlation between achievement entrepreneurship and industrial work practicum with interest in entrepreneurship. The population consisted of 137 students Skills Program Teknik Kendaraan Ringan and a sample of 100 students. Analysis of the data using an show that (1) students have achievements entrepreneurial and industrial work practicum as well as interest in entrepreneurship is good, (2) there is a negative correlation with the company's interest in entrepreneurship, (3) there is a significant positive correlation between industrial work practicum with interest in entrepreneurship students, (4) simultaneously there is a significant correlation between achievement entrepreneurship and industrial work practicum with students' interest in entrepreneurship. It is recommended that the school invites students has successful entrepreneurship can motivate students.

Abstract

The objective this research are to investigate: (1) Investigate the effect of water  Injection the fuel consumption of Honda Supra Fit motorcycle 2006. (2) Investigate the effect of variations to the fuel consumption of Honda Supra Fit motorcycle 2006. (3) Investigate the effect fuel and water injection to the variation fuel consumption of Honda Supra Fit motorcycle 2006. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The study was conducted on Jl Raya Kartosura-Boyolali along 3 km sample in this study is the bike Honda Supra Fit 2006. The data of the research were obtained through documentation of the result of measurement consumption fuel. This research data analysis in is using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of this study concluded: (1) There is an effect of water injection in fuel consumption Supra Fit motorcycle in 2006. This is indicated by a decrease of 1,66 ml/km. (2) There is effect of variations in fuel consumption fuel pertamax the Supra Fit motorcycle in 2006. This is indicated by a decrease of 0,45 ml/km. (3) There is a variation of the interaction of water injection and fuel variations on the fuel consumption of Honda Supra Fit motorcycle 2006, Reduce In the fuel consumption is 1,33 ml/km to 3 km mileage vehicles. Variations water injection with pertamax be recommended because it can reduce fuel consumption.
