Abstract

Community leaders or local champion have important role for develop tourist villages andcommunity empowerment processing. Balai Ekonomi Desa (Balkondes) program is a community-basedtourism development program which implemented at villages around Borobudur. This article explains therole of government, stakeholders, and the role of local champions in mediating, facilitating and mobilizingthe community. This study used qualitative research methods through in-depth interviews using snowballtechniques. The themes emerged from this research, the role of PT.TWC is to initiate the program andconnect to BUMN as a partners to each village. The selection or presence of local champions is determinedthrough an informal process. In each village represented by one supervisor becomes a local champion whoplays an important role.Keyword: local champion; balkondes; pariwisata berbasis komunitas

Abstract

Batununggul Village is the administrative center of the Nusa Penida District. Almost all economic andtransportation activities are found in this village. Ease of accessibility, as the center of government, plus itstourist attraction, Nusa Penida has the potential to increase the number of tourist visits. Thus, theresearcher is interested in raising the topic of research on the tourism strategy of developing BatununggulVillage, Nusa Penida District, Klungkung Regency, Bali. The concept used as the basis in this research isstrategy, tourism development, tourism potential, tourist attraction, tourism industry. The method used is aqualitative research method with qualitative data analysis techniques and SWOT data analysis. The types ofdata used are qualitative and quantitative. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. Thedata was collected through observation, interviews, documentation. The technique of determininginformants in this research uses purposive sampling technique.The results of this study indicate that Batungul Village has tourism potential which is divided into 4components, i.e. attractions that can attract tourist visits. Amenities are all kinds of facilities andinfrastructure needed by tourists while in tourist destinations. Accessibility, namely transportation services,is an important access in tourism. Transportation makes it easy to move from one area to another.Additional services are things that must be provided by an agency/local government of a touristdestination, both for tourists and for tourism actors, amenities, accessibility and additional services. Basedon these components, it can be seen that the development strategy of Batununggul Village includes the SOstrategy, namely aggressively promoting through social media, the ST strategy, which is to provide a uniqueexperience that can make tourists stay longer in Batununggul village, the WO strategy, which is to provideguidance and training to village officials, local communities and teruna teruni to develop BatununggulVillage. WT's strategy is to develop marine tourism and utilize technology as a promotional medium.Keyword: Strategy, Development.

Abstract

Taro is the one tourism village In Tegallalang subdistric, Gianyar Regency. In the development ofBali tourism, there ia saturation of moderen forms of tourism and want to feel and life in rudal areasmaking the development of tourism in rural areas which Will be packaged in the form of tourism.Tourism Villages in Bali have not all gone smoothly so that they still need help from stakeholder in termsof developing at tourist village. Taro village ia one of the tourist village that has a variety of wonderfulpotential in the form of attraction, as well as tourist attractions. The porpuse of this study was todetermine the existing conditions in Taro tourism village, Tegallalalng sub distric, and to find out theattitude of the local comunity in developing Taro tourism village, Tegallalalng sub distric.The research methodology used in this study ia qualitative research where this qualitative researchuses observation techniques, in depth interview and documentation studies. And using the concept of 4Atourism produce, components in formulating the existing condition of Taro tourism village.The result of the study show that the existing condition of Taro tourism village starting fromattractions, accessibility, fasilitas, and tourism supporting institutions are still in the developmentproccess, so that is requires collaboration between stakeholder d in developing Taro tourism village, andattitude of local comunities in developing Taro tourism village with using the irridex ( Irritation index)concept.Keywords: comunity attitudes, developing villages (irridex), tourism village.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of turtle conservation as a tourist attraction onKuta Beach which is in a mass tourism area so it does not threaten the existence of turtle species that laytheir eggs on Kuta Beach. How is the development of turtle conservation as a tourist attraction on KutaBeach that pays attention to the balance between natural resources and tourism activities on KutaBeach.The type of data used in this study are primary and secondary data types. Data collectiontechniques used in this study were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The technique ofdetermining informants using purposive sampling. While the data analysis technique uses descriptivequalitative analysis.The results of research conducted that the management of sea turtles conservation as a touristattraction in Kuta Beach is very unique for domestic and foreign tourists because it is located in the masstourism area. However, conservation support facilities are inadequate and the need for collaborationbetween stakeholders, namely the government, non government organization and the community topreserve sea turtles in Kuta Beach from the threat of garbage and wild animals.Keywords: Conservation Management, Sea Turtles, Kuta Beach

Abstract

Tanjung Lesung Tourism Special Economic Zone is one of the ten priority tourist destinations inIndonesia. This area was hit by a tsunami that was caused by tidal waves and underwater landslides dueto the eruption of Mount Anak Krakatau on December 22, 2018. This tsunami was a silent tsunami so itwas difficult to predict, causing a severe impact in the tourism sector. Thus, the researcher examines thecrisis and crisis management after the Sunda Strait tsunami in the tourist destination of Tanjung Lesung.The concepts used as the basis for this research are crisis management, disaster management, SpecialEconomic Zones, tsunamis and destination images. The method used is a qualitative research method withqualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The types of data used are qualitative and quantitative. Thedata sources used are primary and secondary data. The data is collected through observation, interviewsand documentation. The technique of determining the informants in this study was using purposivesampling technique.The results of this study indicate that the impact of the post-tsunami crisis in Tanjung Lesung can beseen from several aspects, namely the physical, economic, social and psychological impacts. The physicalimpact is damage to attractions, accommodation and access to Tanjung Lesung. The economic impact isseen from the reduction in employment, decreased income and the amount of investment that is not in linewith the target. The social impact caused is the number of casualties, while the psychological impact isthe existence of trauma, anxiety, stress, depression and post traumatic disorder. Crisis management isdivided into three stages, namely pre-crisis, crisis and post-crisis. In the pre-crisis phase, it was knownthat Tanjung Lesung was one of the tsunami-prone areas because it was directly adjacent to the SundaStrait, besides that the area administrator still did not have its own Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)that was in accordance with the situation of the area. At the crisis stage, the cooperation between thegovernment and managers was already going well in evacuating tourists and distributing aid. In addition,social media control is also carried out by monitoring various news media. In the post-crisis phase,improvements to tourism attractions, facilities and access are carried out, improving the image of SEZtourism to become disaster-resilient tourism areas, updating disaster detection systems and evacuationroutes, as well as promotion by holding events, festivals and several promotional visits.Keywords: Crisis Management, Impact, Tsunami, Tanjung Lesung Tourism SEZ.

Abstract

The Kebon Agung Sugar Factory has a lot of tourism potential that can be managed as an educationaltour. However, its tourism potential has not been managed properly because the Kebon Agung SugarFactory currently only focuses on carrying out the factory's main function, namely producing sugar. Sothat the potential for managing educational tourism at the Kebon Agung Sugar Factory is consideredimportant to be a guideline for the company in managing its educational tourism potential.This research uses qualitative methods, namely by conducting observations, interviews, anddocumentation studies. The technique of determining the informants used purposive sampling.Qualitative data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis and using concepts of tourismpotential concepts, educational tourism concepts, tourist attraction concepts, tourism managementconcepts, sustainable tourism concepts and analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results of this researchindicate that the existing conditions of tourism potential at the Kebon Agung Sugar Factory are all managedto carry out and support the main functions of the factory activities. Every tourism potential of the KebonAgung Sugar Factory is analyzed using a SWOT analysis all of the tourism potential can be managed intoan educational tour of the Kebon Agung Sugar Factory.Keyword: Tourism Potential, Educational Tourism, Sugar Factory.

Abstract

The activity of uploading photos to Instagram is an activity that has often been carried out by mostJakarta residents who have smart phones. Uploading photos creates the effect of interest in this digital era,because almost everything is done digitally. The research aims to see whether there is an effect ofuploading photos on the Instagram on interest in visits. This research uses two data namely primary andsecondary data. The data collection techniques in this research use observation, documents, andquestionnaires. The analysis technique for this research is a questionnaire test, namely validity andreliability testing, hypothesis testing, namely the t test, and statistical analysis, namely analysis.correlation analysis and linear regression.The results of the research are to see what types of photo uploads people like about M Bloc SpaceJakarta and see whether there is an effect of uploading photos on Instagram on interest in visits. The mostliked photo uploads about M Bloc Space Jakarta are those about architecture or building style. Abstract

This research aims to determine the development strategy of Al Munawar Arab Village as a touristattraction in Palembang City. Al Munawar Arab Village can be developed because of the diversity of attractions ithas, some of which are eight buildings included in the cultural heritage, Arab ethnic culture, and religious activities.However, the managers have not applied a good strategy for developing tourist areas, as seen from the decline intourist visits from time to time. This study used a mixed-method combining quantitative and qualitative data inputat the same time. The resulting quantitative analysis was the value of weighted, rating, and attractiveness scores.In contrast, the qualitative analysis was the external and internal environment, the interpretation of scores on theEFAS, IFAS, and IE matrix, and SWOT. The SWOT analysis utilized three essential elements of tourism products:attractions, amenities, and accessibility. Based on the EFAS matrix, the enormous opportunity in functionalattraction development was the availability of floating docks for further development with a weighted score of0.380. Moreover, the biggest threat was similar tourist areas which were more attractive with a weighted score of0.140. The IFAS matrix revealed that the greatest strength in the functional development of tensile data was theeight buildings included in the cultural heritage, with a weighted score of 0.260. In comparison, the biggestweakness was the lack of human resources in the development of tourist areas, having a weighted score of 0.053.The total weight score for EFAS and IFAS was 2.710 and 2.840, respectively, which were in the average position.Based on the weighted score, the functional position of developing tourist attractions in Al Munawar Arab Villagewas in cell V, hold and maintain.
