Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to determine the effect of emotion regulation training to reduce stress on the unemployment rate. Subjects were unemployed person who live in the boarding school Salafusolikhin Pekalongan Central Java. The research methods in this study used an experimental method. Methods of data collection used the stress scale. The method of data analysis in this study used t-test analysis techniques. The results showed a significance level of p = 0.000 (p <0.01) on the difference in the stress level of subjects. It shows that there is a significant difference in stress between the experimental group were given training in emotion regulation with the control group were not given the treatment. The categorization of stress of the subjects showed in the medium category. The research concluded that there is a difference in stress levels after the subjects are given emotional regulation training. This means that the hypothesis is accepted and shows that emotion regulation training can reduce stress on the unemployed.Keywords: emotional stress, unemployed, and emotion regulation training.

Abstract

 Abstract This research aims is to examine the influence of color on print advertising against consumers memory. The research design used is posttest only control group design. The collection of data in this study using memory test. Parametric analysis techniques were used to test the hypothesis is independent sample t test to test the difference between 50 subject in experimental group and 50 subject in control group. The result t-test analysis in the control group and experimental group shown the value p = 0,000 (p<0,01) which means that there are very significant differences in memory experimental group with control group of advertisements that have been presented. It mean that the rate of memory against the advertisements that have been presented at the experimental group was higher than control group. These results indicate that the hypothesis was accepted. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine the relationship between perceptions of organizational climate with career planning on the teacher. Subjects that was used in this study are 62 teachers from senior high school Sewon. The scale of organizational climate and career planning scale was used to collect the data. The method of data analysis in this study used Pearson product moment correlation with SPSS 15 for windows sofware. The results of the data analysis found that the correlation between the organizational climate with career planning is significant with rxy = 0.471 and p = 0.007. R squared values between the organizational climate and career planning is 0.222 or 22.2%. This may implied that the variables can explain the variable Organizational Climate Career Planning of 22.2% while the rest (77.8%) is explained by other variables. Level of organizational climate perception among the teachers is at high category (54.84%) and the majority of career planning is in high category too (51.61%). Based on the research result it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between perceptions of organizational climate with career planning on the teacher, which means that the higher the perception of the organizational climate, the higher the teachers career planning.Keywords: perception of organizational climate, career planning

Abstract

Abstract This research is aimed to know the correlation between works safety and works spirit. Research subject is production employee at CV. Cahaya Timur Offset Yogyakarta. Method research in this study is use quantitative approach by using simple random sampling. Data collection tools in this study used works safety scale and works spirit scale. Methods of data analysis in this study used product moment correlation analysis techniques. The result of this research showed a significant correlation with rxy = 0,585 and p = 0,000 (p < 0.01). Effective amount donation given by works safety variable to works spirit variables was 34,2%. The result showed that there is significant positive correlation between works safety and works spirit of production employee at CV. Cahaya Timur Offset Yogyakarta. Hypothesis is accepted and showed that the higher works safety the higher works spirits and the opposite that the lower safety works, the lower also works spirits. Implementation of safety is on the medium level and the majority of subjects had a high work spirit in the high category.Key words : works safety, works spirit.

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aimed to determine the relationship between perceptions of charismatic leadership style to employee performance. Subjects that was used in this study are employees that work in PT. PLN Tarakan in East Kalimantan. The research method used a quantitative research methods. The measuring instruments in this study used Perception Scale Charismatic Leadership Style and the performance appraisal List Value Assessment Performance Employee Performance period 2012 PT. PLN Tarakan Headquarters. The sample of study are 88 participants. The method of data analysis using product moment analysis techniques  by using SPSS 16.0 for windows program. The results of the analysis show the value of the product moment correlation rxy = 0.536 with a significance level of p = 0.000 (p <0.000). The contribution of the perceptions of charismatic leadership style on employee performance are 28.7%. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between perceptions of charismatic leadership style to employee performance. The higher the perceptions of charismatic leadership style, the higher the employees performance opposite perceptions of charismatic leadership style will also lower the performance of the employees. Keywords: perception charismatic leadership style, employee performance.
