Abstract

Measurement of the remaining MFO oil in the tank when the ship is sailing makes the crew become more troublesome because it must be reported within a certain period of time, for example every once an hour using a pendulum sensor. The measurement using this pendulum sensor the accuracy and precision of each becomes a deficiency of the value produced because the position of the ship is not taken into account. Another disadvantage of conventional methods is that fraud can occur if the tank capacity is full by manually falsifying measurement data, then MFO can be sold in the middle of the sea to fishermen or smuggled illegally to an outside country. To overcome these problems, the need for special monitoring for the availability of MFO oil in tanks by ship-owners needs to be carried out. In this case the accuracy, precision and the need for data that is always displayed and known by ship-owners is very important for the business management process of the company. For that, a precise, accurate and real-time fuel consumption monitoring tool is needed. As a comparison, manual measurement of appeal sensors was also carried out in order to get a more significant comparison value. There are 4 HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensors needed to get accuracy and precision on the position of the ship such as horizontal, tilted to the right, tilted to the left with a slope of 8 degrees and 16 degrees. The test results have shown that the four HC-SR04 sensors are able to read more accurate than the pendulum sensors in various ship positions. The reading result with HC-SR04 sensor has an error below 5% compared to an error in the pendulum sensor of 7.5%. Then, the mean error on the surface of the tank with the condition of a flat vessel of 2, 08%, on the position of the tilted vessel of 2.17% and the condition of the ship with a bumpy wave of 3.35%. The results of the measurement of the MFO volume in the tank sent through the internet to the monitoring station can be perfectly received so that it becomes accurate and real-time information for the observation of fuel consumption by the company management. Thus the prototype of monitoring the use of MFO fuel on passenger ships can be used to replace conventional measurement models which use pendulum sensors. Abstract

Basically, the functions of computers are generally used as a medium for storing data and programs in which there are many applications that can facilitate and support a man's work. At the administration of the institution Baitul Maal Pupuk Kujang, data processing about zakat, infaq and sodaqoh (ZIS), reports, and data storage is done manually. Error and inaccuracies of data can be occurring in this case. To help simplify the ZIS management system in that section, program design is the best solution to solve the problems that exist. Data processing is more accurate because of the availability of the form data entry and storage media are centralized in a single database that will make the ZIS management system become more effective and efficient. This aplication program was created with a simple and interactive interface but can process data well and can meet the requirement of the system, so that users can easily use it

Abstract

Gateway Load Balancing Protocol (GLBP) Message-Digest algorithm 5 (MD5) is a Cisco's proprietary protocol. GLBP used to enhance the Quality of Service(QoS)  on a network. It applies the IP Address Gateway Virtual that redundancy on the local network. GLBP run all used routers in time because of load balancing itself, there is no router used as a standby/backup only. Using the GLBP protocol, all network loads are shared equally to all connected routers. The way the GLBP network works is different from how the HSRP and VRRP networks work, which will run the standby/backup router if the active / master router experiences a problem (failover). The average time needed to redundancy the master to router backup router is 7.6 ms. While the average time needed to change from standby router redundancy  to master router redundancy or the master router reused is 33.4 Ms. The average packet loss obtained when the redundancy of the active router change to standby router is 1.7 packet, and The average packet loss obtained when the redundancy of the active router change to standby router is 1.7 packet and 0.5 packets in opposite ways.

Abstract

The lecture meeting is a face-to-face meeting between a teacher and the learners in the classroom in the implementation. In the rules that apply that every lecture meeting a teacher must put the signature on the sheet of paper attendance in the signature column. Checking the lecture meeting in this way has its weaknesses, namely easily manipulated. For this reason, there is an idea to design a system that can make automatic college meeting folders every time the teacher runs this system. The experimental results show that the system can automatically create lecture meeting folders for various subject names that are already available.

Abstract

The prediction of the acquisition of national exam scores for Junior High School (JHS) students is intended to know the results of the student’s national exam early when students take the national examination. Knowledge gained from the results of this prediction will be important information for the school to take appropriate steps so that the acquisition of student national exam scores can be improved even better. The acquisition of student national  exam scores is low and there is no prediction model that is used to predict the achievement of student national exam scores is a problem that needs to be addressed. This paper propose a predicting student’s national exam scores for four national exam subjects (INDONESIAN, ENGLISH, MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE) using K-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) as a prediction method and compare it with Decission Tree method. The results of the study showed that the prediction k-NN model had better performance than the prediction model of Decission Tree. Performance results obtained by evaluating using derivatives of the confussion matrix terminology to determine the value of accuracy, sensitivity (recall), and precission each subjects. To measure the performance of predictive methods used the value of accuracy in each method and each subject. The greater the accuracy value ( max 1 ), then the better performance of the prediction model used. Performance of k-NN in average accuracy=0.85, precision=0.87, recall=0.91 is better than Decission Tree method performance with accuracy=0.82, precision=0.85, and recall=0.89.

Abstract

The final project is a form of research work produced by diploma students in completing the lectures. Unfortunetly, some universities are still using manual methods in which lecturers and students, meet directly in conducting guidance, the problem is difficulty in arranging time to meet between lecturers and students especially students who have worked. The mobile system of final task guidance is developed as a solution to enable lecturers and students to communicate whenever and wherever, this research uses Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method to analyze factors influencing the acceptance of computer application by lecturers and students, By testing technique using TAM obtained test result as follows that from F test result obtained Fcount equal to 8,805, then Fcount> Ftable (8.805> 2.42),so it can be concluded that Confidence, Hassle, Time Limitations, Usability, Ease of Use, and Behavioral Behavior jointly affect the actual usage.

Abstract

Queuing is a tedious activity and can spend a lot of time for some people, especially if it is a queue at a health clinic. The usual queue is the prospective patient (the person who is sick), have to undergo a queue process so long before can get health care. To facilitate the process of queuing at the health clinic and solve problems in the conventional queuing system, the author designed an Online Queue System at a health clinic using Waterfall system development method. The output of this queue system is divided into three components; namely "Clinical Admin Website" which serves as an Interface for the clinic to post all clinical information, "Patient Android Application" which serves as an Interface for patients to see the queue number is running, queue the queue number online, get notification in the form of Pop Up notification and Maps for real-time direction to the clinic location, and "Web Server" which functions to integrate data from the Clinical Admin Website to the Android Patient App
