Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forming of GRDP sectors in Kebumen, and determine which sectors are priorities to be developed in order to encourage economic growth Kebumen. The research uses descriptive analytical method, the data used are secondary data in the form of time series of GDP Kebumen and Central Java Province with the observation year 2005 to 2009. The analysis used is the analysis of LQ (Location Quotient), shift share, Typology Klassen, Model Growth Ratio (MRP), and Overlay. Results Analysis of Location Quotient (LQ) shows the basic sector in Kebumen is Mining and Quarrying sector, Agricultural sector, services sector and financial sector, Rental and Service, no visible shift of economic structure, where the primary sector is still a focus for regional income, Overlay analysis produced 5 seed sector, the Mining and Quarrying Sector, Agricultural Sector, Industry Sector, Finance, Ownership, and Corporate Services and Services, Klassen Typology analysis showed that the Mining and Quarrying sector and the services sector is a sector advanced and rapidly growing sector, Agriculture and Financial sectors, Renting and Business Services is an advanced but depressed sector, Manufacturing sector is a potential sectors / could still be developed, the analysis of the leading sectors that need to be developed namely Services sector. Based on the analysis in this study, several suggestions can be presented as follows: Kebumen district must give priority to the services sector with a competitive advantage as well as specialization without having to neglect other sectors. Need to develop co-operation of Agriculture, Industry and Services are intensive and sustainable.

Abstract

Accreditation policies established by the government was not fully implemented by the private universities in Kebumen. Of the five existing private universities, only two private universities that have implemented policies such accreditation STIE Putra Bangsa and STIKES Muhammadiyah Gombong. While the other three universities namely AMIK PGRI Kebumen, STTM Kebumen, and Dharma Patria Polytechnic Kebumen, accreditation policy does not apply. Accreditation policy will encourage the efforts of private universities in improving the quality and competitiveness. Some private universities are implementing quality policy efforts and make improvements. However, several other private universities have not been applied so that the accreditation policies competitiveness indicators include the number of students, academic faculty qualifications, facilities and infrastructure, and cooperation with external parties can not be optimally carried out by universities that have not implemented the policy of accreditation. The purpose of this study was to determine how the universities accreditation policy impact on the competitiveness of private universities in Kebumen. This type of research is qualitative research, retrieval of data sources using the technique of "purposive sampling" by the number of informants as many as 30 people including structural universities officials, students, and stakeholders. Collecting data in this research is done through observation, documentation and indepth interview. Techniques of data analysis in this study is the analysis of the interactive model, includes four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions or verification. The theory used is a theory about quality assurance. The results of this study found that for private universities that implement accreditation policy of accreditation policies can have an impact on the competitiveness of more optimal effort in improving the quality of the acquisition so the number of students in each new admissions, academic qualifications are sufficient faculty, facilities and infrastructure are more adequate, and the amount of cooperation with external parties can be pursued optimally. But for private univertsities that do not implement the accreditation policies of competitiveness remains to be pursued optimally. Abstract

The concept of management continues to evolve over time. New concepts in management replace the previous concepts that are not relevant anymore with the recent condition. One thing to be observed is that the concepts of management should not merely a collection of principles, procedures, methods and techniques, but the concept should be operationalized, so it can be implemented by the organization. This article discusses about how to become an excellent organization with the implementation of management excellence. Organizational excellence itself is a manifestation of the concept of total quality management. By applying excellence management, organization will be able to understand the changes and quickly adapt even utilize the changes into the source of their advantage. Organizations are able to understand and align the needs of all stakeholders , able to anticipate the market movements, and capable of interpreting trends will come and the current condition of the well so that the organization can enhancing their performance and achieve long-term excellence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the costs relevant to decision making soy products continue the company's plastic packaging ketchup cap "BAKSO satay" Purwokerto The study drew on data in 2010 who suffered losses. Loss was due to higher production costs due to: rising gas prices and soaring oil prices, labor costs need to be given a salary increase and the costs of medical care from year to year increases, the engine was getting old so the ability of the operation is reduced and weakening market demand for soy products plastic packaging. From the results of the study concluded that the company should continue the plastic packaging for soy products if the company will add a stop loss is greater. This can be evidenced by the company discontinue the product if it will experience a loss of Rp. 34.092 million, whereas if you continue to lose Rp. 12.6898 million, and the difference is Rp.21,402,200, - This research method is by way of: interviews, observation, documentation and literature study method. The main results of this study indicate that the company should continue soy plastic packaging products for reasons above.

Abstract

Abstract This paper explains the development of a management practice framework with the philosophy of the social sciences as analysis approach, especially in the field of management as a basic reference. The tendency of epistemological and ontological understanding of managers will give a different perspective to the organization. This framework can be used to construct a taxonomy that is able to identify the philosophical paradigm as the basis in developing good management practices, so that managers can understand the risks that may arise in the organization due to their lack of understanding the fundamentals of philosophy in management science. Four philosophical frameworks that integrate perspectives, research methods, practices, and behaviors in management become new perspective models, i.e. naturalist-agency perspective, naturalist-structuralist perspective, hermeneutic-agency perspective, and hermeneutic-structuralist perspective. Coherent philosophical approach is necessary in the application and development of management practices.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja, internal locus of control,dan motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada DPPKAD Kab. Kebumen. Populasi dan sampel dalampenelitian ini seluruh pegawai pada DPPKAD Kab. Kebumen yang berjumlah 89 orang. Metodeanalisis data menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas serta analisis regresi linier berganda sebagaialat analisis data untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel disiplin kerja, internal locus of control, danmotivasi terhadapkinerja pegawai pada DPPKAD Kab. Kebumen.Hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji t menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja dan motivasi secara parsialberpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai dan internal locus of control secaraparsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai. Sedangkan uji Fmenunjukkan bahwa variabel disiplin kerja, internal locus of control, dan motivasi secara simultanberpengaruh terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalahpermasalahan kinerja pegawai pada DPPKAD Kab. Kebumen dapat dijelaskan dengan variabeldisiplin kerja, internal locus of control, dan motivasi. Sumbangan ketiga variabel tersebut terhadapkinerja pegawai sebesar 59,1%, sedangkan 40,9% sumbangan terhadap kinerja pegawai dijelaskanoleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.Kata kunci: Disiplin Kerja, Internal Locus of Control, Motivasi dan Kinerja.
