Abstract

Latar belakang: Perawat menjadi salah satu faktor yang dapat memengaruhi keberhasilan pelayanan di Rumah Sakit. Salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki adalah kompetensi budaya (cultural competence). Sebab mempertimbangkan budaya dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan merupakan salah satu bentuk kepedulian perawat saat memberikan asuhan keperawatan. Keyakinan terhadap kemampuan dalam mengekspresikan dan mengembangkan kepedulian ini disebut caring efficacy. Tujuan: Diketahuinya hubungan Cultural Competence dengan Caring Efficacy pada perawat di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Makassar. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study, ini memiliki sampel sejumlah 148 orang dan dipilih berdasarkan purposive sampling. Yaitu perawat pelaksana dan berstatus sebagai pegawai di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Makassar. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil Uji Chi-square diperoleh dengan nilai p= 0,000 <0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara Cultural Competence dengan Caring Efficacy pada perawat di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Makassar. Studi ini merekomendasikan kepada seluruh perawat untuk lebih meningkatkan kompetensi budaya (cultural competence) melalui cultural awareness workshop untuk dapat menumbuhkembangkan caring efficacy dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan.

Abstract

Background: The problem of mental health services is inseparable from the reach of health services at hospitals or community health center including development in remote. The implementation of health services in remote areas, including the Sangihe Islands district, go through obstacles due to the difficulty of the terrain by frequently. The people have difficulty accessing health services due to the lack of transportation facilities and dependence on the season. The purpose: Elucidate the efforts of families in seeking mental health treatment in remote areas. The methods: This study uses a qualitative method of phenomenological approach, with purposive sampling technique. The informants in this study were seven families who cared for clients with mental disorders. The data analysis process was carried out using the Collaizi method which consists of seven stages. The validity of research data using triangulation methods with interviews, observation and triangulation among members of the researcher to avoid researcher subjectivity. In addition, researchers conducted member cheking, namely by validating data from informant interviews. Result: Four themes were found in this qualitative research, namely behavioral changes, sources of information on the availability of mental health services, treatment seeking behavior, barriers to looking for mental health services. Conclusion: Six families have taken clients to a neurologist, pastor, and psychiatric hospital, but there is a family who never received medical or traditional treatment because the client refused to be treated.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Gejala sisa yang ada pada klien pasca stroke dipercaya erat kaitannya dengan kualitas hidup. Adanya klien pasca stroke di daerah Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe ini maka diperlukan upaya untuk mengetahui kebutuhan mereka. Tujuan: Tujuan umum penelitian mengetahui hubungan antara Activity Daily Living dengan kualitas hidup klien pasca stroke. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Jumlah sampel 51 klien pasca stroke. Pengambilan sampel berdasarkan non-probability sampling menggunakan purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Kuesioner karakteristik responden, Kuesioner Barthel Index dan Kuesioner WHOQOL-BREF. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil: Hasil uji analisis diperoleh nilai p value 0,878 > 0,05 dengan koefisien korelasi r = 0,022 yang artinya tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara antara Activity Daily Living dengan Kualitas Hidup Klien Pasca Stroke. Kesimpulan: stroke memiliki dampak pada kemampuan klien dalam melaksanakan aktivitas sehari-hari dan pada kualitas hidup klien. Bagi pemberi layanan kesehatan untuk mengedukasi klien paska stroke terkait pentingnya rehabilitasi pasca stroke serta memberikan dukungan terkait kesehatan mereka.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Hipertensi merupakan salah satu permasalahan kesehatan global yang jumlahnya terus mengalami peningkatan sepanjang tahun. Bertambahnya umur pada lansia, fungsi fisiologi mengalami penurunan sehingga penyakit tidak menular banyak muncul pada lanjut usia seperti hipertensi. Tujuan : penelitian ini untuk menganalisis faktor sikap, keyakinan dan pola makan terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi. Metode : Desain penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode analitik dengan pendekatan metode cross-sectional. Sampel yang diambil menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dengan jumlah 70 responden di Posyandu Lansia Kelurahan Turen. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 5 – 16 Januari 2021. Uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu uji analisis regresi linear berganda dengan penyajian data menggunakan tabel. Hasil : penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap analisis faktor terjadinya hipertensi pada lansia yaitu sikap dengan nilai signifikansi (p-value) 0,004 < 0,05. Kesimpulan : Dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa perubahan sikap dapat menentukan suatu tindakan seseorang untuk mengontrol atau mengendalikan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat diketahui bahwa sikap merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi, sehingga untuk mengendalikan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi perlu dilakukan peningkatan evaluasi sikap yang baik yang oleh responden. Kata kunci : Hipertensi, Sikap, Keyakinan, Pola Makan ABSTRACT Backgorund : Hypertension is one of the global health problems whose number continues to increase throughout the year. Increasing age in the elderly, the physiological function has decreased so that many non-communicable diseases appear in the elderly such as hypertension. Aims : The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors of attitude, belief and diet on blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Method : Research design Quantitative using method analytical with approach cross-sectional. Samples were taken using technique purposive sampling in accordance with the criteria inclusion and exclusion with a total of 70 respondents in the Village Elderly Posyandu Turen. This research was conducted on January 5-16, 2021. The statistical test used was multiple linear regression analysis with data presentation using tables. Result : The results of this study found that the most influential variable on the analysis of attitude, beliefs and diet factors on blood pressure in hyppertension patients is attitude with a significance value of 0.004 <0.05. Conclusion : In this study it can be concluded that a change in attitude can determine a person's actions to control or control blood pressure in hypertensive sufferers. Based on these results, it can be seen that attitude is one of the factors that can affect blood pressure in hypertensive patients, so to control blood pressure in hypertensive patients, it is necessary to increase the evaluation of good attitudes by the respondents. Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kejadian hipertensi bukan hanya terjadi pada usia lanjut tetapi juga pada usia dewasa. Self management adalah suatu proses dimana individu diarahkan pada perubahan tingkah laku mereka sendiri, dengan menggunakan satu atau kombinasi strategi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh audiovisual education berbasis budaya terhadap perubahan self management dan implikasinya pada kualitas hidup penderita hipertensi dewasa di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tambelang. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Quasi Experiment dengan pre dan post test design tanpa menggunakan kelompok kontrol. Sebanyak 64 subjek penderita hipertensi dewasa dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling yang menerima intervensi audiovisual education yang dilakukan satu kali setiap minggu selama 5 minggu dari bulan Mei sampai Juni 2021. Hasil: Karakteristik subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 68,8% usia dewasa akhir, 65,6% perempuan, 54,7% pendidikan menengah (SMP dan SMA), dan 62,5% bekerja. Jenis kelamin dan status bekerja penderita hipertensi yang berhubungan dengan self management dan kualitas hidup (p<0,05). Terdapat perbedaan self management dan kualitas hidup antara sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi audiovisual education (p=0,000). Audiovisual education secara parsial mempengaruhi self management (p=0,046) dan kualitas hidup (p=0,028), dan hanya jenis kelamin yang mempengaruhi self management (p=0,018) dan kualitas hidup (p=0,029). Secara simultan audiovisual education dan karakteristik subjek mempengaruhi self management (p=0,008) dan kualitas hidup (p=0,014). Kesimpulan: Audiovisual education berbasis budaya yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini berpengaruh terhadap perubahan self management dan berimplikasi pada kualitas hidup penderita hipertensi dewasa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan audiovisual education sebagai metode yang dapat dilakukan dalam asuhan keperawatan untuk upaya penanganan hipertensi dengan materi yang lebih menarik dan terbaru, juga perlunya penelitian lanjut mengenai terapi lain sebagai intervensi perawat dalam asuhan keperawatan hipertensi. Kata Kunci: Hipertensi;Audiovisual Education Berbasis Budaya; Self Management; Kualitas Hidup ABSTRACT Introduction: The incidence of hypertension not only occurs in the elderly but also in adulthood. Self-management is a process by which individuals are directed to change their own behavior, using one or a combination of strategies. Aim: This study to analyze the effect of cultural-based audiovisual education on changes in self-management and its implications for the quality of life of adult hypertension sufferers in the working area of ​​the Tambelang Health Center. Methods: This research is quasi experiment with pre test and post test design without using a control group. A total of 64 subjects with adult hypertension were selected using a purposive sampling technique who received an audiovisual education intervention which was conducted once a week for 5 weeks from May to June 2021. Results: The characteristics of the subjects in this study were 68.8% late adulthood, 65.6% women, 54,7% secondary education (junior and high school), and 62.5% working adults. Only gender and working adults subjects of hypertensive patients were associated with self-management and quality of life (p<0.05). There was an improvement in self-management and quality of life between before and after the audiovisual education intervention (p=0.000). Audiovisual education partially affected self-management (p=0.046) and quality of life (p=0.028), and only gender affected the self-management (p=0.018) and quality of life (p=0.029). Simultaneously, audiovisual education and subject characteristics affected self-management (p=0.008) and quality of life (p=0.014). Conclution: culture-based audiovisual education applied in this study has an effect on changes in self-management and has implications for the quality of life of adult hypertensive patients. This study recommends audiovisual education as a method that can be carried out in nursing care for efforts to treat hypertension with more interesting and up-to-date materials, and also the need for further research on other therapies as nurse interventions in hypertension nursing care. Abstract

Latar Belakang : Perawat harus memiliki kompetensi berpikir kritis, sehingga mampu untuk mengenali, menginterpretasi makna, dan merespon dengan tepat setiap masalah kesehatan pasien. Pemenuhan kompetensi tersebut dapat dilakukan dalam bentuk supervisi klinis oleh kepala ruang secara konsisten dan terstruktur mengacu pada prosedur dan pedoman yang sudah ditetapkan. Tujuan : Mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis perawat pelaksana setelah supervisi reflektif interaktif kepala ruang di Rumah Sakit X Jakarta. Metode : Penelitian menggunakan pre eksperiment dengan One Group Pretest and Posttest Design dengan total sampel 48 orang perawat pelaksana dan 7 Kepala Ruang di ruang Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit X Jakarta. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan kuesioner keterampilan berpikir kritis dan evaluasi pelaksanaan supervisi oleh kepala ruang. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-Juli 2021. Hasil : Kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kategori cukup 72,9%. Keterampilan berpikir kritis perawat pelaksana sesudah supervisi reflektif interaktif kepala ruang meningkat secara bermakna (p Value = 0,009).tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara usia (p Value = 0,176), pendidikan (p Value = 0,875), masa kerja perawat pelaksana (p Value = 0,875) dan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Ada hubungan bermakna antara jenjang karir dan keterampilan berpikir kritis (p Value = 0,007). Kesimpulan : Supervisi reflektif interaktif mengarahkan perawat secara konsisten dan terstruktur untuk dapat berpikir kritis dan memiliki level kompetensi pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap sesuai jenjang kompetensi klinis yang dimilikinya, sehingga dapat memberikan pelayanan kesehatan dengan baik kepada pasien dan keluarga dan melakukan kolaborasi dengan professional kesehatan lain.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Insiden keselamatan pasien (IKP) di RS X yang tidak dilaporkan dalam sistem Q pulse 36%. Pelaporan IKP merupakan salah satu kendali mutu agar kejadian yang sama tidak terulang kembali. Tidak terlapornya IKP dipengaruhi oleh faktor supervisi, usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, lama kerja dan supervisi model akademik. Penelitian dilakukan di RS X menilai peningkatan pengetahuan dan pelaporan IKP oleh perawat pelaksana setelah supervisi model akademik dengan kegiatan educative, supportive, dan managerial. Penelitian menggunakan one group pre-test and posttest design dilakukan bulan Mei -Juli 2021. Alat ukur menggunakan kuesioner valid dan reliabel kepada 77 responden perawat pelaksana dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan IKP rerata nilai 76.88 dan jumlah pelaporan IKP 54,5%. Peningkatan pengetahuan IKP perawat pelaksana setelah supervisi model akademik 3,38 (0,043%). Angka pelaporan IKP sesudah supervisi model akademik meningkat (43,9%). Tidak ada hubungan antara karakteristik perawat dan peningkatan pengetahuan IKP perawat pelaksana setelah supervisi model akademik dengan p value >0.05. Tidak ada hubungan antara karakteristik dan peningkatan pelaporan IKP oleh perawat pelaksana setelah supervisi model akademik. Penelitian merekomendasikan pemberian resosialisasi supervisi model akademik agar konsisten, pendampingan dan penguatan motivasi dari pimpinan dan peer group untuk saling menguatkan. Perlu penelitian mendalam melalui mixed metode kepatuhan pelaporan IKP. Kata Kunci: Insiden Keselamatan Pasien; Pengetahuan; Pelaporan; Perawat pelaksana; Supervisi model akademik. ABSTRACT Patient safety incidents (PSI) in Hospital X that were not reported in the Q pulse system were 36%. IKP reporting is one of the quality controls so that the same incident does not happen again. Unreported PSI is influenced by factors of supervision, age, gender, education level, length of work and supervision of the academic model. The study was conducted at the Hospital X assessing the increase in knowledge and reporting of PSI by implementing nurses after supervision of the academic model with educative, supportive, and managerial activities. The study used a one group pre-test and posttest design carried out in May-July 2021. The measuring instrument used a valid and reliable questionnaire to 77 implementing nurse respondents and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test and Chi Square test. The results showed that the average PSI knowledge was 76.88 and the number of reporting PSI was 54.5%. The increase in PSI knowledge of implementing nurses after supervision of the academic model was 3.38 (0.043%). The PSI reporting rate after supervision of the academic model increased (43.9%). There is no relationship between the characteristics of nurses and the increase in PSI knowledge of implementing nurses after supervision of the academic model with p value > 0.05. There is no relationship between the characteristics and the increase in PSI reporting by nurses after supervision of the academic model. The research recommends providing resocialization of academic model supervision so that it is consistent, mentoring and strengthening motivation from leaders and peer groups to strengthen each other. Abstract

ABSTRAK Kesenjangan antara kompetensi Perawat di Puskesmas Rawat Inap dengan kompetensi yang diharapkan masih perlu dianalisis lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman kompetensi Perawat dalam memberikan pelayanan Keperawatan di Puskesmas Rawat Inap Kabupaten Manggarai Barat dengan desain penelitian desain fenomenologi hermeneutic. Pengambilan data dilakukan selama 2 minggu pada 12 -23 April 2021. Jumlah informan yang terlibat dalam FGDs dan Wawancara semiterstruktur sejumlah 28 perawat pelaksana dan 7 kepala ruang rawat inap. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik qualitative content analysis dan cross-case analysis dengan program software nvivo 12 plus. Empat tema yang tereksplorasi terkait kompetensi pengetahuan perawat adalah Proses Keperawatan, Komunikasi, Delegasi, dan Manajer kepala ruang. Ada perbedaan kompetensi pengetahuan dalam proses keperawatan berdasarkan jenjang Pendidikan. Ada perbedaan penilaian persepsi kompetensi pengetahuan berdasarkan posisi informan. Tiga tema yang tereksplorasi terkait kompetensi sikap perawat adalah Keselamatan Pasien, Relasi, dan Tilik Diri. Tiga tema yang tereksplorasi terkait kompetensi keterampilan perawat yaitu Mandiri, Kolaborasi, dan Mentoring. Ada perbedaan kompetensi keterampilan dalam Tindakan berdasarkan jenjang jabatan fungsional. Lima tema yang tereksplorasi terkait faktor motivasi dalam peningkatan kompetensi adalah Jenjang Jabatan, Kepuasan, Kinerja, Kepercayaan dan Pengarahan. Empat Rekomendasi yaitu perlu diadakan pelatihan berkaitan dengan Proses Keperawatan dan Keselamatan Pasien, sosialisasi SOP Penilaian Kinerja dan delegasi. This study aims to explore the competency experience of nurses in providing nursing Services In Inventories Public Health In Inposition Of West Manggarai Districts Regency with a hermeneutic phenomenological design research design. Four themes that were explored related to nursing knowledge competence were Nursing Process, Communication, Delegation, and Head of Room Manager. There are differences in knowledge competence in the nursing process based on the level of education. There is a difference in the assessment of the perception of knowledge competence based on the position of the informant. Three themes that were explored related to the competence of nurses' attitudes were Patient Safety, Relationships, and Self-Check. Three themes were explored related to the competency of nurses' skills, namely Independent, Collaboration, and Mentoring. There are differences in competency skills in Action based on functional level of position. Abstract

Background: Leadership style is a person's behavior in leading a group to achieve certain goals, which can be seen from the superior’s perceptions, subordinates or the leader himself. Transformational leadership will make subordinates feel trusted, valued, loyal and respectful to their leaders, so that subordinates will be motivated to do more than expected. The head nurse, equipped with a transformational leadership style, has a positive impact, which can increase nurse compliance and work motivation. Objective: to analyze the effectiveness of the head nurse transformational leadership style on nurses' compliance to carry out the initial assessment of inpatient care and nurses work motivation in the hospital. Methode: quasi experimental with one group pre post test design. The research was conducted in June-August 2020 in the inpatient room of the Bethesda Tomohon Hospital. Sample: 8 head nurses and 55 nurses in accordance with predetermined criteria. Three data collection tools were used: (1) Observation sheet of Nurse Compliance carrying out the Initial Inpatient Assessment, (2) Nurse Work Motivation Questionnaire and (3) Head Nurse Transformational Leadership Style Questionnaire. Results: There was a significant increase in the compliance of nurses carrying out the initial assessment of hospitalization both before training (p value 0.000) and simultaneously with confounding factors (age, length of work and education p value 0.000), and work motivation (p value 0.005) after a head nurse transformational leadership training intervention was conducted. Conclusion: This means that the transformational leadership style training for the head nurse affects the compliance of nurses in carrying out the initial assessment of hospitalization. This study recommends the need for headnurse transformational leadership style training continuously as an intervention in increasing nurse compliance.

Abstract

Back ground: Standard precautions were part of infection prevention and control project, that was importent thing to implementation at hospital orother public health service, that’s forquality of service patient safety measures, medical staff and family from getting infection risk.The effective ofinfection prevention and control at hospital project describe of good quality service of the hospital as well. The role of head of office as a manager was enormous for nurse in standard precautions implementation. Aimd: This research purposeful to identify effect of role and function of head of office training towards prevention and infection control implementation: standard precautions of the implementing nurses at Hospital Tomohon. Metode: Used to Quasy Experimental pre and post test design. Total sample 78 respondents divide in to two groups: 60 respondents group of intervention, 18 respondents as group of control. Sampling used purposive sampling. Result: showed guideline of head ward (0.179) and duration of work (0.031) were given effect to standard precautions implementations. Conclusion: This research was recommendation role and function head ward worshop as a methode to increase nursing care plan for quarantee quality of patient safety over at hospital.
