Abstract

This research was done at PT. Ramah Tamah Indah in Pekanbaru City, this research aim to know companies system and concept of partnership, implementation conception of partnership, .and knowing comparison mount the breeder earnings. This research was done during eight month, from March to November 2009. Teclmique of intake sampel is method of purposive sampling where breeder taken as responder is breeder with the scale criterion of effort ~ 10.000 tail of chicken broiler. From entire/all breeder population taken 5 breeder which have partner with the division system of result of pursuant to Index Produce (IP) and 5 breeder which have partner with the system of sharing holder 50:50. The result show the partnership concept that could be realized are conservancy fee range, medium produce the livestock provided by a company, gift insentive, technical aid from the company, marketing guarantee, and election of system of result division agreed on by both parties. Average of net earning of effort livestock of chicken of broiler system of index production (IP) is Rp 5.891.662,-and for the system of sharing holder 50:50 is Rp 11.466.241,-. And seen from result the T test obtained conclusion that at this period, earnings of breeder of system of sharing holder 50:50 bigger than system breeder of index production (IP)

Abstract

This study was aimed to identify antibiotic residue on buffalo liver (Bubalus bubalis) dan nila fish (Oreochromis niioticus). Detection of antibiotic residu was used antibacterial assay by diffusion methode. The result indicated that some of samP/i:.s at concentration 25% contained antibiotic residue with inhibited growth rate Escherichia coli 12,3 nun.

Abstract

This research is conducted in order wsee the effect ofthe substitution offish meal with the Silage ofshrimp waste on the retention ofdry matter and crude protein on broiUer. This research is conducted in the laboratory of Nutrition and Liveswck fred and experemintalJarm of the Faculty ofAnimal Husbandry Jambi University. This research used 100 DOC MB-202 breed. The design of the research is the complete ransom design with 5 treatments and 4 cycles. The treatments are the level of the use of shrimp waste silage, i.e. 0%, 2,5%, 5%, 7,5% and 10 %or to substitute fish meal 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. The variabels observed were the compsumption, secretion and retention ofdry matter and creude protein. The result ofthe research show that the subtitution offish meal with silage ofshrimp waste does not show obvious effect (P>O,OS) on the retention ofdry matter and crude protein. Based on the result ofthe.research, it can 1:re concluded that the silage ofshrimp waste can substitute the use offish meal up w100 %.

Abstract

Emisi gas metan terdiri dJlri 37% dJlri total emisi gas rumah kaca dimana sumber utama emisi enl:erik dJlri sap; dJln domba. Metan adalah salah satu gas rumah kaca (GRK) utama di samping uap air, karbondioksidJl dan nitrogen oksida. Dibandingkan dengan CO'b metan adalah suatu GRK penting dimana· konsentrasinya di atmosfir lebih dua kIl1i Upat semenjak era pre-industri. Kajian ini memberi gambaran sebuah studi kasus mengenai penilnian emisi gas dan kTedit karbon dJlri ternak ruminansia di Prouinsi Jambi Indonesia. Data merupakan dJlta sekunder meliputi luas daerah, jumlah ternak ruminansia dan kebijakan tentang Tencana ke depan Prouinsi Jambi. Jumlah emisi metan dJlri sapi, kerbau dan kambing adalah 47.83 dan 34,54 ton perhari palla tahun 2002 dan 2006 dJln total emisi C02 dJlri sapi, kerbau dan kambing 131,5 dan 94,96 ton perhari pada tahun 2002 dJln 2006. DiperkiTakan bahwa pQda tahun 2015 PrC1C7insi Jambi dapat menghasilkan dJlri ternak kim-kiTa untuk69.118 rumah dengan asumsi keperluan listrik 900 watt per-rumah.

Abstract

A study about the use ofvitamin E and BHT in frozen ram senten extender has done. Tris citrate, lactose and skim milk as extenders and vitamin Eand BHT as antioxidants with ceitain doses were used in this experiment. The quality ofsemen such as motility, live sperm, intact plasma membrane and intact acrosom membrane were evaluated. The objectives ofthis study are to determine the best extender and antioxidant with certain doses in cryopreservation of ram semen. Based on" this study it was found that the skim milk extender (50.0 and 62.5% respectively) showed the best quality ofsperm motility and live sperm after thawing. The mean percentage ofintact plasma membrane and intact acrosome on skim milk extender also showed the best result(58.3 and 61.0% respectiDely). The supplement of0.2 g vitamin Eshowed higher rate ofsperm motility, live sperm, intact plasma membrane and intact acrosome after thawing than the other treatments (51.9, 65.4, 61.3 and 64.2 percent respectiDely). It can be concluded that the supplementation of 0.2 g vitamin E using the skim milk extender gave the best quality in ram semencryapreservation.
