Abstract

In modern times, developments in the world of fashion is growing by leaps and bounds. One of the highly developed is the trend of shoes. Sales of Nike shoes increases every year, as a result many companies that want to take advantage by selling shoes that quality is not in accordance with company standards. This study aimed to analyze the effect of Brand Image tehadap Nike Shoes Purchase Decision Process (Studies in the Faculty of Communication and Business Student Telkom University Bandung). This research includes quantitative research. The method used is descriptive - causal. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Communication and Business Telkom University who uses Nike shoes. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with the sampling method incidental sampling. The data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. Data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results, it can be concluded that Brand Image positively influence the purchase decision process Nikes on students of the Faculty of Communication and Business Telkom University Bandung. It can be seen from the results of the t> t table (12.257> 1.98447) and the level of significance, 000 <0.05. Based on the calculation coefficient of determination (R2) can be seen the influence of brand image variable (X) on the purchase decision process (Y) amounted to 60.5%. While the remaining 39.5% is influenced by other factors  Keywords: brand image, buying decision process, consumer behavior

Abstract

Along with the development of technology and information, Warunk Upnormal using social media Instagram as a place for promoting. From the results of the initial survey that researchers do indicate that the many comments that recommends Warunk Upnormal, causing people interested in being followers Instagram of Warunk Upnormal to get information and would like to visit Warunk Upnormal.This study aimed to analyze the effect of Electronic Word of Mouth towards purchase intention of  followers instagram Warunk Upnormal. The type of research used is descriptive and causal research with the method used is quantitative. The population in this study is Warunk Upnormal’s Instagram followers. The sampling technique that being used is nonprobability sampling with the sampling incidental sampling. This study was involving 400 respondents of followers Instagram Warunk Upnormal. This study uses simple regression analysis technique. Based on the results, it can be concluded that Electronic Word of Mouth has significant effect on purchase intention of followers instagram Warunk Upnormal. Based on the coefficient of determination (R2) calculation can  be known the magnitude of the effect of electronic word of mouth (X) variable on purchase intention (Y) was 14.9%. While the remaining 85.1% is influenced by other factors.  Keywords: consumer behaviour, electronic word of mouth, purchase intention.

Abstract

The development of information technology should be utilized positively for the better development of life. In relation to the obligation to the State, in this case is import tax, it is necessary to utilize the progress of information technology. One form of utilization of information technology is to create applications that can facilitate the calculation of import tax. For this reason this research is made so that in the calculation of import tax can facilitate business actors. Abstract

Data processing is always a critical task for a company's information systems, so it takes a data processing system that can provide information that has meaning or benefits for the organization itself. Only companies that can use their information effectively can benefit from the opportunity to do things first, faster, more rightly (effectively) and cheaper (efficient) than their competitors. Good information systems should be able to produce quality information that is useful in decision making because the information must be able to reach the interests of management at various levels of management. That for companies needs an application that can help companies in providing training for new employees. Abstract

This research is influenced by the problems related to the brand personality on The Body Shop’s Body Mist product. Those problems based on the results of pre-survey showed that brand personality of The Body Shop’s Body Mist product that consists of sincerity, excitement, competence, sophistication and ruggedness has not yet been fully received good response from respondents. In addition, although The Body Shop’s Body Mist product received the title of Top Brand of the year 2015 - 2016, Top Brand Index value of The Body Shop’s Body Mist product fell in 2016. This shows that the power of the brand personality The Body Shop’s Body Mist product also decreased, because the brand personality is a form factor the first parameter to measure the value of the percentage of TBI, which is top of mind brand awareness. This study aims to determine the influence of the brand personality which consist of sincerity, excitement, competence, sophistication and ruggedness towards purchase intention. The results shows that the brand personality and purchase intention is in good category. The results of multiple regression analysis addressing sub variable competence, sophistication and ruggedness significantly influence the purchase intention, and the coefficient of determination shows that the brand personality variables significantly influence the purchase intention by 54,5%, and 45,5% are influenced by other variables outside of this research.  Keywords: brand personality, purchase intention,  the body shop’s body mist product

Abstract

Selection process for new employees at the Markas Hobby is still done manually, the application file new candidates will be evaluated by comparing the file contents with the specified criteria. Selection of the files that meet the criteria then continued with the interview process. The series of processes followed by a series written the tests, including psychological tests, tests of academic potential and so on. Statements this thesis aims to build a Decision Support System Selection Recruitment of new uses Simple Additive weighting method (SAW). This method was chosen because it can determine the weight values for each attribute, and then proceed with the ranking process that will select the best alternative from several alternatives, In this case, the alternative is entitled to be accepted as a new employee in accordance with criteria specified. In developing this application writer use the method of RUP (Rational Unified Process), with Descriptive Research Methodology and Action Research Methodology. While the system implementation using PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. The decision support system may help section Recruitment in making decisions for the recruitment process at Markas Hobby more easily and quickly.   Keywords: decision support system, simple additive weighting method (SAW)
