Abstract

The research purpose is to empiricaly analyze the influence and importance of Macroeconomic on International Business and Economic Growth in Indonesia period 2008-2017. Interest Rates, Exchange Rates and Inflation Rates are Macroeconomic Indicators. Foreign Direct Investment, Expot and Import activity are International Business Indicators. Gross Domestic Product, Private and Government Consumptions are Economic Growth Indicators. This explanatory research will use quantitative research approach. Population & Sample are time series data period 2008-2017, all data are secondary data taken from credible institutions as Bank Indonesia, Statistics Indonesia, Burreau of Investment Indonesia, Indonesia National Single Window and World Bank. The data analyzed using GeSca operating system online and signed reflective. The descriptive analysis shown Indonesia’s Macroeconomic volatile, International Business Activity and Economic Growth. The research results shown that there are one variable has insignificant effect and two variables has significant effect. Macroeconomic has insignificant effect on International Business, Macroeconomic has negative-significant effect to Economic Growth and International Business has positive-significant to Economic Growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and examine the factors that affect the performance of employees at PT. Wimcycle Indonesia Surabaya. These factors are grouped into 2 (two): the individual dimensions (abilities, work experience, motivation) and the organizational dimensions (leadership, communication, organizational climate), while for the variable employee performance is the result of work shown by employees at a certain time based on performance standards set. The research sample consisted of 90 employees that divided into several divisions. The questionnaire was developed by researchers using 5-point Likert scale. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. Multiple linear regression model with six independent variables could explain 54.5% of the variation of the variable employee performance. Partially it can be seen that out of the six independent variables in this study, the capability of employees to have the most influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Small Medium EnterpriseS (SME) development is one of essentials matters in Indonesia’s economy. One of SME s which currently keeps growing is SME in tourism sector. SME in this sector is the form of people’s economic independence, for example batik craft SME from Blitar which is a tourism product. This research explains about the influence of entrepreneur behavior and group participation against business performance managed by the variable of motivation. This type of research is an explanatory research using questionnaire as a primary data collection tool distributed to the owners of Blitar batik SME s. The sample of this research is saturated sample by making all Blitar batik SME owners as research samples up to 77 respondents. Path analysis using SPSS 20.0 is selected to analyze the influence of the variable in this research. The result of this research shows that entrepreneur behavior and group participation bring positive and significant influences against motivation and business performance.

Abstract

Transportation becomes vital to tourism activities, especially when it comes to accessibility. Online transportation has become one of the choices for tourists to use in Bandung. This study focuses on analyzing how drivers or riders of online transportation in serving tourists and general consumers. The research method is qualitative with in-depth interviews with respondents (operators/drivers/riders) randomly chosen. Data Triangulation and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) are the methods use for data analysis. The results show that respondents join the online transportation, as the service has become such a trend in the city that more and more people are using it. Some takes the job as operators as their main job, while some others do that as simply a side job. Some even have a double membership status (both as offline and online transportation crew), yet some others choose to only become part of the online team. These riders or drivers purchase their vehicles by a credit system.

Abstract

This research analyzes the relationship between social capital and business performance with entrepreneurship orientation as an intermediary variable. This research was conducted in 4 (four) communities of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Malang city with a population of 324 business actors. Proportional Cluster Random Sampling technique was applied, involving 90 respondents who are members of the MSMEs community. The data was gathered through questionnaires. The findings showed that social capital significantly affects entrepreneurial orientation as well as business performance. It is also found that Entrepreneurship Orientation has a significant influence on Business Performance. Lastly, it is found that the effect of Social Capital on Business Performance was mediated by  Entrepreneurial Orientation.
