Abstract

The ability of reading comprehension is an ability, skill, and dexterity to empower the reader in cognitive function/ mental to understanding the emblem/ symbol written language such as words, phrases, sentences contained in the passage, either expressly (literal comprehension) or implied (comprehension interpretive, critical, creative) appropriately. Many possible factors that affect the ability to read one's understanding , such is its mastery of sentence structure. In other words, an increase in the ability of reading comprehension can be done through increasing mastery of sentence structure. In this case the control structure of the sentence is the person's level of mastery of the rules, the use of the term or phrase analysis contained in the passage, either on the form of the sentence , the meaning of the phrase , and sentence patterns. Through mastery strktur adequate sentence readers have the potential to quickly and accurately understand the emblem/ symbol written language contained in the passage either expressed or implied, as he has mastered the rules, the use of the term or phrase analysis contained in the passage , both regarding form of the sentence, the meaning of the phrase, and sentence patterns . Abstract

Ider salvation hometown and earth represents the culture of the village Rejosari in Banyuwangi. Every year the villagers held a series of cultural and it has become a tradition for them. Tradition salvation hometown and earth Ider conducted one week after Eid al-Adha. The process begins with doing Ider earth went around the village and ends with a meal with their families in the courtyard of the house. Ider village and the salvation of the earth has significance for the villagers Rejosari. Some of them are as repellent reinforcements and pagebluk. In addition there is also interpret it as a time to gather with relatives. In the implementation of salvation village tradition and Ider earth can not be separated from the committee system. The system may come from the community itself or come from rural management system. Both systems can not be separated from the influence of the head of the village. Abstract

This research aims to describe, analyze, and formulate Ki BagoesHadikoesoemo's political thinking about the State of Indonesia. This study usesa critical character study method which is one of the types of qualitative research.Data collection and information techniques used include study documentationand interviews. The results of the study showed that Ki Bagoes Hadikoesoemohad an important role in the formulation of the basic state of Indonesia in theJakarta Charter. Ki Bagoes Hadikoesoemo had an important role in the first SilaPancasila change as it is now. Abstract

This paper studies the importance of revitalizing the nationalism based education in Indonesia. The study starts with finding the relationship between education and nationalism during the Dutch occupation. It is then followed by the relevance between education and nationalism as the root of the Indonesian national movement. The writer gives examples of education which is developed by Muhammadiyah and Taman Siswa as an effort of revitalizing nationalism based education. At the end of this paper there will discussion on the importance of history subject in building the spirit of nationalism and patriotism. Key words: educational revitalization, nationalism, Indonesia

Abstract

ABSTRACTA Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on teaching and learning in Higher Education.Research conducted during the pandemic situation aims to find out the picture of selfmanagement in students. A total of 80 people were involved in this study. Sampling isdone by convenience or accidental sampling. The method used is descriptive quantitativemethod. Data retrieved using a measuring instrument in the form of Self-Managementscale. The methods of processing and analyzing statistical data are descriptive andinferential. This means that findings such as gender data, aspects of self-managementand other additional data are analyzed descriptively and differences in self-managementof male and female students are analyzed inferentially with the Man Whitney test in orderto describe the profile of self-management comprehensively. The results showed thatthere were no significant differences in self-management in male and female students.The level of self-management in students is in the medium category. This means that theyare capable enough to plan, organize, carry out / direct and control all activities in thispandemic situation. The implication of this research is as preliminary data to see theprofile of self-management in students.Keywords: self-management, students, co-19 pandemic

Abstract

The results of education in Indonesia are considered unsuccessful, especially at the primary and secondary levels. The Program for International Students Assessment (PISA) assessment of the literacy abilities (mathematics, science, and language) of students from around the world respectively in 2003, 2006, 2009 and 2012. The purpose of this study was to develop a science comic module media approach. STEM for grade V students. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) research. The development model used is 4D from Thiagarajan (1974). The sample technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires and tests. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. The research results obtained (1) MOKOSA media needs to be developed based on a preliminary study, there is no media that packs comics and STEM. Abstract

IbM activity aims to increase knowledge about local knowledge, improve skills develop proposals PTK Based Local Wisdom, compiling reports PTK (class action research) based Local Wisdom, and improve the skills of writing scientific articles. The method used in this activity is participatory learning and action (PLA), include: 1). coordination with partners in preparation for the implementation of the program, contact the team of experts, 2). preparation of several training modules to guide the activities, 3). training local wisdom Banyumas 4). technical training prepare proposals PTK Based Local Wisdom, 5). technical training prepare reports PTK Based Local Wisdom, 6). training technique of writing scientific articles, and 7). mentoring programs and evaluation. The result of this activity is the partner has insight into local wisdom Banyumas, and understand that PTK can be done using local wisdom as PTK Banyumas specific needs and character of students. Partners have the knowledge and skills in the preparation of proposals, the implementation of the PTK in the classroom, and the preparation of reports based on local wisdom PTK, partners have the knowledge and skill in preparing scientific articles, the partners have managed to draw up a report PTK and scientific articles have been published in scientific journals of education. Abstract

This research entitled Influence of Scouting Activity on Civic KnowledgeStudent at Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. The purpose is to studyhow the influence of Scouting Activities at Muhammadiyah University ofPurwokerto to Knowledge of student’s citizenship. The method used isdescriptive research method, weighting score (Weighted Mean Score),correlation test r and t test analysis. This research was conducted to membersof Scout Movement active in Front Cluster Banyumas 08.2683-08.2684University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto counted 41 people. Based on theresults of data processing known that Scouting Activity effect of 75.8%. on theKnowledge of Citizenship, the remaining 24.2% is influenced by other factorsnot examined. Suggestion from the researcher, it is expected to be the input forthe implementers of Scouting activities in this case the Front Line so that betterin preparing this activity should be more coordinated with the related parties,such as: the trainers who must be more proactive in this activity, the committeeas a whole to improve the quality of its work in preparing these activities.Keywords: scouting, scout movements, civic knowledge

Abstract

More than 60% of students in SMP Negeri 2 Pulosari were not interested in following Civic lesson. This action research is aimed at improving the student’s interest in following the civic lesson. The research was done in two cycles each of which consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflection. Data was collected through observation, questionnaire, and test. Based on the data analysis it could be concluded that STAD (student team achievement division) was effective in improving students’ activeness; the average of which being 63.33% in cycle 1 and 80% in cycle 2.
