Abstract

This research was aimed to investigate the effect of Islamic work ethics to the employee Satisfaction on Waroeng Steak & Shake in Surabaya. This study used questionnaires in primary data collection and quantitative approaches. Experiments were done using simple linear regression, where the dependent variable (Y) is the employee work satisfaction and the independent variable (X) is Islamic work ethics. The research sample were taken by census. The research sample was 33 employees working in Waroeng Steak & Shake Surabaya.Based on the findings, it obtained simple linear regression equation : Y = 0,929 + 0,684X. The magnitude of the influence of Islamic work ethics to the employees work satisfaction on Waroeng Steak & Shake in Surabaya is the R2 value of 0,423 (42,3%). The result show that employee work satisfaction on Waroeng Steak & Shake in Surabaya significantly affect by Islamic work ethics.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain the impact on business continuity shadaqah Muslim businessmen in Surabaya. It is the basis for explaining the impact of interview questions Sadaqah on business continuity in terms of operating income, number of employees, provide the best performance, business development, business growth, business resilience.This study used a qualitative approach with a case study strategy. Data was collected through interviews and direct observation to study the object. The analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative analysis of explanatory approach to explain the results of interviews and direct observation.The results of this study indicate that there is a Sadaqah impact on business continuity Muslim businessmen in Surabaya. The more routine Muslim businessmen in doing charity it will affect the performance of the business that will have an impact on business continuity achieved.

Abstract

Natural resources have not been well managed in Madura and the low level of human resources leads to ethnic Madurese communities abroad to obtain a decent life by applying a high work ethic. This research aims to know the work ethic of ethnic Madurese in Central merchant Wholesale Surabaya reviewed from Islamic business ethics.Approach used in this research is qualitative approach to method case study is descriptive. Data done with interview observation and documentation against traders ethnic madura in central wholesale Surabaya. For data advocates derived from data given by centers management wholesale Surabaya. Besides is also study library and literature about ethos work ethnic Madurese and Islamic business ethics.The results obtained are the informants argued most of the Madurese ethnic merchants in wholesale center Surabaya interpret and apply the Madurese ethnic work ethic that is hard work and wander, as well as in implementing the work ethic they comply with Islamic business ethics.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of funding of BMT Teladan towards microenterprises performances in Semolowaru’s Market Surabaya. Questionnaires are used to collect the primary data. The data is analyzed by using one of quantitative approaches which is simple regressive analysis. The samples of the analysis are 30 BMT Teladan customers who have been partners for at least one years. Purposive sampling is used as it eases the researcher to take detailed informations and it also appropriate towards the aim of the research.The result of the research shows that the BMT Teladan funding which covers Ijarah and Murabahah financing are indeed influential towards micro-enterprises performances in increasing earnings and asset of micro-enterpreneur in Semolowaru’s Market Surabaya. BMT Teladan shoud provide stronger internal factors for increasing the performances of micro-enterprises such as developing and empowering human resources (microenterpreneur). The successes and failures of an enterprise or a business relies on the capability of its human resources especially in applying business strategy. In other words, the success of an enterprise is determined by the quality of its human resources as microenterpreneurs. It is hoped for the next further research to use a broaderfactor (internal and external) that influences the performance of micro-enterprises.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to find out Why Public Choose Paying Zakat in Mosque Rather than Institute of Zakat in Kramat Jegu Village.The research methodology used was a qualitative approach, the case study strategy. Data was collected by interviewing nine muzakki zakat payers in Kramat Jegu village Taman sub-disctric who four of them are related to the management of the mosque.The technique used is descriptive analysis.The result showed that the public would prefer to pay zakat in the mosque than zakat institutions. The motivation of public to pay Zakat at mosques fortified with three reasons are take into account the distance of the place of payment of zakat, more public believe to staff management mosque of zakat, and the public awareness to help the surrounding community.
