Abstract

This research is about improving student curiosity and their mathematics learning outcomes in material characteristics of the three-dimensional figure through van hiele learning model for fifth grade SD Muhammadiyah 04 Comal has done in May until July.T he purpose of this research is to improve students curiosity and their mathematics learning outcomes especially for material three dimensional figure for student of fifth grade SD Muhammadiyah 04 Comal district Pemalang. The method of this research was two cycle of class action research with planning, observation, reflection for each cycle. The result of the first cycle shows the percentage of students curiosity is 87 % with 4,87 as average it means quite good curiosity and students participation 67,33 with students minimal requirements 93 %. Therefore it can be concluded if the van hiele learning model can improve students curiosity and their mathematics learning outcome of students class V SD Muhammadiyah 04 Comal with the main discussion about the identification of three-dimensional figure character

Abstract

The student’s low self-confidence and learning achievement became the main problem in class IV SD Negeri 2 Sudagaran Banyumas. Some factors causing the low confidence and learning achievement were that the learning was still conventional; the students were not active during the lesson. The research was conducted as the solution using quantum learning model. This was a classroom action research with two cycles consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The result of the research showed that quantum learning model could improve the student’s confidence and learning achievement for the fourth graders of SD Negeri 2 Sudagaran Banyumas. It could be proven by the improvement of the student’s questionnaire got improvement, it was 73,48 % in cycle I on in enough criteria and 77,28% in cycle II or in good criteria. The result of the students’ learning mastery also got improvement, it was 78,27% in cycle I or in good criteria and 86,96% in cycle II or in very good criteria. Based on the result of this classroom action research conducted in two cycles, it could be concluded that quantum learning model could improve the students’ confidence and learning achievement on science on the topic of The Effect of Physically Environment change for the fourth graders of SD Negeri 2 Sudagaran Banyumas.

Abstract

Students’ discipline attitude and learning achievement of civic education in the fourth grade of SD Negeri Ledug was considered low and several students were slow in doing the assignment given by the teachers because they could not optimize the given time well. Their civic education learning achievement often did not reach minimum requirement mastery set by school especially in the topic of globalization. Therefore, this research aimed to develop discipline and civic education learning achievement on materials of globalization through Buzz Group collaborative technique learning model. The subject of this research was Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meeting and the procedures covering planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data of students discipline development were obtained from students discipline attitude scale and learning achievement data were obtained from the evaluation test given in each meeting. Based on the result, the result of students discipline development in cycle I obtained an average score of 76,61% and improved in cycle II to 83,89%. The obtained average score of learning achievement in cycle I was 63,33% and improved in cycle II to 80%. Therefore it could be concluded that Buzz Group collaborative technique learning model could improve discipline and civic education learning achievement of the fourth graders of SD Negeri Ledug.

Abstract

Interviews and observations showed low learning achievement of independence and fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tinggarjaya, so this research aims to improve the independence and student achievement in the subjects of Mathematics material congruency and symmetry. This research is the subject of a class action that takes fifth-grade students with a number of 30 students consisting of 12 men and 18 women. This study uses a model of Quantum Teaching is carried out2cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation/observation, and reflection. Based on the result obtained in the first cycle, students' independence as much as79,58% with both criteria and the second cycles much as89,18%, thus increasing the criterion very well, while the acquisition of student achievement obtained in the first cycle the average value of the class of 58,67 with passing grade is achieved only 60%. in the second cycle, the acquisition of student achievement obtained an average value of 89,25class with mastery learning reaches 88,9%. The collection of data through questionnaires and student evaluation sheet, Quantum Teaching shows that the model can improve the independence and student achievement in the subjects of Mathematics material congruency and symmetry.

Abstract

This research was aimed to figure out the effect of Two-Stay Two-Stray cooperative learning approach to natural science subject learning achievement on the material of natural resource on the fourth graders of SD Negeri Karangdadap. Learning achievement studied consisted of 3 aspects; cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspect. The subject of the research was the fourth graders of SD Negeri Karangdadap covered 2 classes, class IVA totaled 23 students and IV B totaled 26 students. This research was conducted by using experimental method, One fourth grade students as an experimental class and others as a controlled class. This research was started by pre-test, treatment, and post-test, data collecting technique employed was test and no-test. A non-test technique was used to collect affective aspect data by questionnaire and psychomotor aspect by rating scale by using indicator of responsibility attitude. The obtained data were analyzed by Man Whitney test based on the calculation result, obtained cognitive aspect Z < - Zα/2 or -2,213 < -0,01; affective aspect Z < - Zα/2 or -2,282 < -0,01; psychomotor aspect Z < - Zα/2 or -2,395 < -0,01. Based on the above result, it could be concluded that there was an effect on the application of Two-Stay Two-Stray cooperative learning approach to natural science subject learning achievement on the material of natural resource on the fourth graders of SD Negeri Karangdadap on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

Nowadays, the government with its policy of inclusion class made teacher must be able to do learning activity for children with special need. This research was aimed to describe about (1) teachers’ competence in planning of learning for children with special need (CSN), (2) teachers’ competence in doing learning activity for CSN, (3) teachers’ competence in evaluating learning achievement of CSN, (4) teachers’ competence in managing the class at integration process for CSN and normal children in the same class. This research method used descriptive qualitative approach. These research objects were integration class teacher of class 1, class teacher of CSN handler, headmaster of SD Negeri 1 Tanjung. The technique of collecting data in this research used observation, interview, and document. The technique of data analysis used descriptive qualitative. The research result showed that (1)teachers’ competence in the planning of learning for children with special need (CSN) showed two different results between teacher of integration class and teacher of CSN handler, that was in preparing the lesson plan, teacher of the integration class used provided lesson plan and this was applied both to normal student and CSN, yet teacher of CSN prepared batter and conicallu by making PPI for CSN in SD Negeri 1 Tanjung, (2) teachers’ competence in doing learning activity for CSN was in quite a good category as equalized the right if giving learning service between normal student and CSN, and teacher mostly used media in teaching learning process, (3) teachers’ competence in evaluating learning achievement of CSN was based on the competence of CSN, thus teachers didn’t have specific criteria as the standard for determining the development of CSN (4 )teachers’ competence in managing the integration class was able to manage and there was good cooperation between teacher of integration class and teacher of CSN, thus this was good cooperation between teacher of integration class and teacher of CSN, thus this was able to solve the problems in teaching learning process.

Abstract

The research is supported by the low curiosity and learning achievement of the students for the fifth graders SDN 2 Kaligondang. It aims: to improve the curiosity and learning achievement of Javanese Language on the topic of writing Javanese letters through synthetic analytic structural (SAS). The subject covered the fifth graders of SDN 2 Kaligondang consisted of 23 students. This classroom action research consisted of 2 cycles and each cycle had 2 meetings (per meeting included 2 teaching hours). The procedures included planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The data were collected by observation sheets of the teacher and students. The curiosity and learning achievement were gathered from test and questionnaire by the end of the cycle. The first cycle showed the mean of students' curiosity 28.51%. The learning achievement in the first cycle was 60.86% with the mean 68.65. The second cycle showed that the mean of students' curiosity was 34.13. The learning achievement was 86.95% with the mean 80.47. Thus, it could be drawn that Synthetic Analytic Structural could improve students' curiosity and learning achievement for the fifth graders SDN 2 Kaligondang

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of social care attitude and student’s achievement. This research is aimed to increase the social care attitude and student’s achievement in PKn (Civic) subject in the material of globalization effect through cooperative learning model of ( Student Teams Achievement Division)STAD type. The subject of research is the students of 4th grader of SD 02 Kedungwuluh Kidul with the total number of student are 16. Class action research was held in two cycles. Each of cycle consists of two meetings, one meeting consists of two hours. The procedure for each cycle included planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collection was gotten from teacher’s observation and students’ activity report. To know the students’ social attitude, the researcher used social care attitude questionnaire. While to get the data of students’ achievement, the researcher used the evaluation sheet at the end of each cycle. Based on the research of social care attitude in cycle I, it was shown that the average was 3,20 and the percentage was 80,15% and from Cycle II, the average was 3,67 and the percentage was 91,87%. The result of achievement scoring from cycle I, the class average was 72,81 with the percentage81,25% and from the cycle, II was got the class average was 86,87 with percentage 100%. From those results, can be concluded that cooperative learning method (Student Teams Achievement Division)STAD type can enhance the social attitude care and students achievement of PKn of class IV SD 02 Kedungwuluh Kidul.
