Abstract

Nowadays, the globalization era makes the tourism industry got the impact of globalization. The city is as destination that become one of the components can can attract tourists. An interesting phenomenon arises that there are many kinds of cities with various tagline. One of them is The Soul of Madura. Based on the city branding processin Sumenep city, thus representation should be concerned through branding that will be done, branding process that is done requires communication, because communication is one of branding process that is done. Besides, the researcher wants to see how the communication process in the saronen music culture in the process of branding. This research used a qualitative approach in the type of descriptive research. The object in this research was saronen music culture. The result was a communication that is created in the process of city branding at saronen music culture. It included all conceptulization, even they were one-way communication processes, interactions and transactional processes.

Abstract

Digital communication era has impacts on the life, one of them is in the world of marketing communications. Based on data obtained, it was started in the end of 2016 to early 2017 that became the beginning of the turmoil of the modern retail market. One by one the modern retail market fell because modern society was not only to want comfortable shopping activities and places, but also practical and efficient. This was offered by online shopping, a lot of benefits coulbe be gains, such as making people prefer to online shopping activities rather than shopping conventionally. There were many benefits that offered by online shopping, the modern retail market should anticipate and implement several programs to maintain its existence in the market. It aims to make the life of the modern retail market more exist. In the era of the development of digitalization of communication needs alternative way to anticipate unexsistansion in society. So, that was no longer the process of fall of the conventional market in the digital era.

Abstract

The election of the head of the region would be held by government. It brought its own benefits to the campaign team. It was easy to find even before the pairing, the candidates who would forward to show his face in a billboard or banner on the sidewalk. Their poses for religious festivities or bright invokes blessings. They described in doing many positive activities to attract people's sympathy. Many governor candidates used outdoor media to advertise them in the governor election last June. Generally they showed self-advertising positively, memorable, and interesting. There were characteristics that highlighted. So, prospective voters would remember and did not hesitate to vote. This was the usual way of using elaboration likelihood theory either on peripheral routes or central routes. The central route involved critical thinking that peripheral routes did not do that. This theory was also associated with the behavior of people’s vote. The results of this conceptual study showed the finding that visible things are visually capable of capturing unselected voters with peripheral routes. In the other hand, voters who used the central route were given a lot of informative information to reinforce belief.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of Korean wave access activities that include: duration (X1), frequency (X2), attention (X3) to imitation behavior (Y) teenagers in Palu City. The researcher theory used Social Learning Theory. The study used survey method that used sample size from a population, with the number of samples were 73 students SMKN 1 Palu that represent few of teenagers in Palu City. This study used questionnaire as the main data collection tool and the method of analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination output (R2) obtained Adjust R Square (R2) in 0.740 or 74%. This result showed that the percentage was influence of X variable (duration, frequency, attention) in accessing Korean Wave through variable y (imitation behavior) teenagers in Palu that was 74%. Thus, the hypothesis Ha accepted and Ho rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to see what the meaning of Perindo Marching adverstiment is. This study used qualitative approach and semiotics method especially television codes proposed by John Fiske that divided into three levels. They are reality, representation, and ideology levels. The result showed that the meaning of Perindo marching tune is an effort of forming its identity to the society. Perindo marching advertisement showed the realization of people prosperity by Hary Tanoesoedibyo and looked at him as the candidate who will make Indonesia to be better. Perindo advertisement was a campaign media to introduce Hary Tanoesoedibyo to the society. The positive perception in this advertisement was making Perindo and Hary Tanoesoedibjo to be known and accepted and supported by society when the political season will come.

Abstract

This research aims to describe Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono personal branding by Detik.com. This research used qualitative approach. Framing analysis did by using of Pan and Kosicki analysis model. There are 4 structure analysis in the Pan and Kosicki framing analysis, such as thematic, scripts, semantic and rhetorical. The results showed that framing the news that conducted by Detik.com to Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono was well done. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono imaged as a figure who was very caring with progress, prosperity and peacefull in Jakarta.

Abstract

None of the world-class corporations did not use communication information technology (ICT) in running their business wheels. ICT had become a social engineering technology for the advancement of a corporation. The purpose of this study discussed effect of use of internal media based on PJB mOffice, information accessibility, and corporate communication climate on employee performance. By using organizational communication theory, technology acceptance model (TAM) measured usefulness of PJB mOffice applications, information accessibility, corporate communication climate and employee performance. This study located at Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali Head Office in Surabaya with a sample of 82 permanent employees who installed and used the PJB mOffice application as respondents. Data was collected by questionnaires randomly. Analyzing data used multiple linear regression with SPSS 20. The results showed that the use of android-based internal relations media, information accessibility, and organizational communication climate simultaneously had an effect on employee performance. The most influential factor in employee performance was corporate communication climate. The better and conducive to the corporate communication climate, the higher the employee's performance. The use of android-based media internal relations and corporate information accessibility was not a determinant in improving employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the programing undertaken by TVRI East Java in preserving the campursari culture. To uncover these goals thoroughly and profoundly, this study used descriptive method and usedquantitative method. Based on the problem, the data collection technique that used by the researcher were interview, direct observation and documentation conducted by researcher at the site. Then, the data was analyzing critically on the basis of Morissan thinking, so it obtained deep meaning about that used by TVRI East Java in preserving campursari culture. Based on the result of this study, it found the programming strategy in TVRI East Jawa in preserving campursari culture that is in the form of planning strategy where TVRI East Java did the determination of ideas before the show of campursari aired and bumper selection that change every year, a production strategy whereby TVRI East Java has own self produced campurasri event as well as arranging the best possible crack of business, evacuation strategy of the program where TVRI East Java showed live campursari program in studio 1 who filled by campursari communities from various regions. Then, evaluation strategy where in each year would evaluate the programs so, campursari can be accepted by public.
