Abstract

Mangrove degradation is increasing along the proliferation of purposely land conversion. The utilization of the products of mangrove forests are oriented to the timber. Processing of mangrove products that have economic value should be a form of mangrove conservation and sustainability. Balai Pengelolaan Hutan Mangrove (BPHM) Wilayah 1 Bali, has become a center to processing mangrove forest products, especially non-timber products in Mangrove Tahura Ngurah Rai, which empowers local communities with skill training to process mangrove products into the economic value products. This research was carried out at the Mangrove Tahura Ngurah Rai. The method used is by observing mangroves by random sampling which will then be harvested based on the characteristics of ready harvest and harvest time. Mangroves that have been harvested, among others Sonneratia caseolaris, Bruguiera gymnorrizha, and Xylocharpus granatum. Those mangrove products will be processed into products such as syrup, soap, dodol, flour, rice, and scrubs. The processing of non-timber products is done through empowering local communities. The utilization of mangroves is more focused on the non-timber of forest products by utilizing mangrove fruits and leaves, ecotourism utilization, and silvofishery. BPHM I. Bali has an important role in maintaining the sustainability of the Mangrove Tahura Ngurah Rai.

Jasmine is a type of floriculture plant, that is white and has a very fragrant aroma. Jasmine flowers are widely used for activities related to customs as well as industrial raw materials. The use of jasmine is increasingly decreasing because many industries use the essence of jasmine because they are cheaper. The selling price of jasmine flowers tends to fluctuate because the production of jasmine is determined by the season and requests for certain festivals and ceremonies. The purpose of this study was to analyze the income of jasmine flower farmers and analyze the factors that influence the income of jasmine flower farming. The research was carried out in September 2018 in Batang District and Kandeman District, Batang Regency. The research method uses survey methods and data collection methods through interviews. The method for taking samples using Slovin techniques, determining the number of each sub-district using proportional allocation. Methods of data analysis using income analysis, multiple linear regression test and one sample t-test. The results showed that the income of jasmine flower farmers was Rp. 3,330,909 / 0.51 ha / month. The results of the analysis of one sample t-test show that the income of jasmine flower farmers is greater than the District Minimum Wage (UMK). This reasearch aims to analyze net income, profitability and R/C ratio of the planting system potato monoculture and the planting system potato-carica intercropping. The reasearch method used survey method location was decided by purposive method. The number of respondents decided by nonprobability sampling that is sampling quota. The samples determined by 30 potato farmers and 30 potato-carica farmers. Respondent decided by snowball sampling. The analyze used two-sample assuming equal variences used microsoft excel. The results of reasearch that the net income of potato-carica intercropping significantly higher than the net income of potato monoculture. Net income of potato-carica intercropping is Rp 17,386,588.2 and Net income of potato monoculture is Rp 7,537,404.3. Profitability of potato-carica intercropping significantly higher than the profitability of potato monoculture. Profitability of potato-carica intercropping is 60.39% and profitability of potato monoculture is 44.07%. R/C ratio of potato-carica intercropping higher than R/C ratio of potato monoculture. R/C ratio of potato-carica intercropping is 1.60 and R/C ratio of potato monoculture is 1.44.
