Abstract

In the information age, media has become an important tool to seek information for clarity but it is paradoxical. This study shows whether documentaries are projecting skepticism and sarcasm of Iraqi people due to volatile, uncertain complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) conditions or projecting VUCA discourses for the restoration of peace and harmony. The object of this study consists of Oscar-winning and Oscar-nominated documentary films from 2003 to 2011 with a total of 45 films. The year 2003 is selected for its demarcation of U.S.-led invasion of Iraq which started in March 2003 and toppled over the government of Saddam Hussein. The year 2011 denotes the end with the departure of US troops in 2011. Through the criterion sampling, four films are selected that depict Iraq and all the four got nomination for Oscar that include: Iraq in Fragments (2006-Nomination); My Country My Country (2006-N); No End in Sight (2007-N); Operation Homecoming: Writing the Wartime Experience (2007-N). To explore Iraqi people?s perspectives, a further sampling is applied and two documentaries are selected depicting entanglement of religion and politics in Iraq from Iraqi people?s perspective.

The interactive analysis model is done in a descriptive qualitative manner and the data is presented with a SWOT analysis to determine the company's situation and strategy. The conclusion is the component of customer satisfaction in the form of: responsiveness, compliance, empathy, tangible, reliability and assurance which are elements of patterns of improvement in communication services have a positive influence on customer satisfaction in using banking services. This must be started and addressed by prioritizing customer needs. Researchers found that service influences customer satisfaction, which means that the greater the influence of service, the greater the satisfaction achieved by these customers, and these efforts continue to be carried out by BTN in maintaining customer trust in the company. Another thing is the need to optimize the strength they have to respond to opportunities that arise from external companies.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology implies inclusiveness in da'wah not only in real terms in the real world, but also in the virtual world. Some things that become considerations of the da'wah inclusiveness need to be applied, including the growth of radicalism through social media, then in 2015 a funny social media account @NUgaris emerged that intensely and consistently helped to color the virtual world. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. The authors explore the implementation of preaching inclusiveness through social media carried out by the above account. The results of the study show that there are three forms of the application of the inclusiveness of the @NUgarislucu account, namely: inclusiveness in doing da?wah to the internal citizens of NU (Nahdhiyin); inclusiveness in da'wah to internal Muslims who differ in manhaj (across mass organizations) in Indonesia; inclusiveness in da'wah to external Muslims, namely to other religions in Indonesia. The three forms of missionary inclusiveness are carried out through dialogue and humor.
