Abstract

This school action research is the result of observations of researchers in developing and monitoring the performance of teachers in the target area, that aims to enhance creativity kindergarten teachers in making props from recycled materials through group counseling.The procedure is performed in this study a shared action in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four main activities: planning, action, reflection, and evaluation.Generally based on research, indicate an increase in the percentage of 9% on the initial conditions to 45% in cycle I and 82% in cycle II, so that it can be concluded that the guidance of the group can enhance creativity kindergarten Dabin III UPT Education Departement Parakan District in Semester II Academic Year 2014/2015 in making props from recycled materials.

Abstract

Children group B TK Dharma Wanita Kuwasen, Jepara mostly in the ability to spell out its initial less than the maximum. This can be seen with words that have not been exact when counting and writing in a spell. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of Numbered Heads Together model in the magic shell game to improve the ability to spell the beginning of Group B of TK Dharma Wanita Kuwasen, Jepara. The research methodology used in this research is quantitative research. The results of research cycle I and the results of research cycle II showed an increase in percentage and completeness. The conclusion of this research is that the application of Numbered Head Together model in magic shell game can improve the beginning of group B TK Dharma Wanita Kuwasen, Jepara

Abstract

As a person knowledge increases there will be a higher cognitive balance through assimilation and accommodation. In the assimilation, there will be contact or effective cognitive conflict between the old concept with a new reality. Stimulation of cognitive conflict in learning will greatly assist the process of assimilation that will be more effective and meaningful in students' cognitive structures. This reason is the background to write the thesis entitled “Application of Cognitive Conflict Strategy Learning In Dynamic Electricity”. The Application of Cognitive Conflict Strategy in Dynamic Electricity learning is carried out in order to determine whether student achievement is better with the application of cognitive conflict strategy than the conventional learning model. The influence of activity on the achievement of students learning physics concepts through the dynamic power through the implementation strategy of cognitive conflict and to know the structure cognitive students about the concept of dynamic electricity.

Abstract

Results of observation found that the students of class IX and passive in learning science. Other facts indicate that the average student score of 60. This suggests that science teaching in class IX and unpleasant. In order to increase the students' understanding, then conducted action research.This study aims to determine students demonstrated the increased understanding of improving student learning outcomes IX class B SMP Negeri 38 Semarang through empowerment peers.The study design used two cycles with research time for 1 month. Subjects numbered 30 people.The first cycle study results showed an increased understanding marked by an increase in average student learning outcomes of 60 towards 71.6. Nevertheless, this study not yet may be terminated because it has not reached indicators of success that the average value of 75. The results of the second cycle studies show an increase in the average value becomes 75.8.This research recommendation is given to teachers IPA to further modify the model of science learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) Finding out how much is the influence of school culture on educational quality, (2) Finding out how much is the influence of the competence of teachers to the quality of education, and (3) Finding out how much is the influence of school culture and teacher competence collectively to the quality of education. The population in this study was all State junior high school teachers throughout the Sub District of Randudongkal District of Pemalang, the number of the population was 225 people, and the samples were selected using proportionate random sampling technique as many as 69 people. The data analysis was using descriptive analysis, the test of data requirements, and analysis, / regression test. The test results for the prerequisite of research data it is concluded that the data were normally distributed, homogeneous, linear, does not incur multicollinearity and does not incur heteroskedasticity. While from the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the school cultures to the quality of education in the total of 0.911 with a contribution of 82.8%. There is a significant effect of teacher competence on the quality of education at 0.790 with a contribution of 61.9%. There is the influence collectively on the School Culture and Teachers Competence against Education Quality of 0.977 with a contribution of 95.3%

Abstract

Research and Development methods are used in this research. The objective of the research is to develop teaching materials focused on the criteria and quality. This instructional material as a guidebook of the subject course to improve student’s learning in the classroom, so the students got the understanding and improved skills in learning the Indonesian language. This instructional material, as a reference to the Indonesian language for students of PBI UNISNU Jepara is to improve students’ motivation and increase their understanding in self-learning. This textbook development procedure consists of 4 stages: planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. This textbook is created by the lecturer, are given suggestion by expert and peers (in peer review section). This teaching book is then evaluated the quality by the lecturers who are appointed as assessors and students as a filling instrument practicality of the textbook. Quality data obtained from the descriptive analysis is then changed into the score. This category is then converted into a conversion score in order to know the quality and value of textbooks used in the learning process of teaching Indonesian language courses.

Abstract

Most of the Principal in carrying out the preparation of Supervision Program is still low, in carrying out their supervision activities are not preceded by good planning so impressed origin implement. The aim of the research is to improve Peren principal as supervisor, especially in the preparation program through the guidance of continuous supervision.The subjects were seven principals of research carried out in the second semester of academic year 2014/2015, the hope in the school year 2015/2016 school principals in implementing the supervision starting from the preparation of the program so that the implementation goes according to plan in advance so that already obtained results in an optimal supervision.This research was conducted in two cycles, the first cycle is carried out through the guidance of the group obtained an increase in the average value of the programming supervision of 42.85% compared to the initial conditions. The second cycle of the guidance implemented individually acquired 14.29% increase compared to the first cycle, or at the end of the second cycle there is a 57.14% increase compared to the initial state or the final result of 71.43% according to performance indicators

Abstract

PGRI Semarang universities develop character education in every interaction both academic and non-academic. Strengthening these characters contained in Catur Dharma of the University, imitation. Based on the above, do research designing monitoring and evaluation of the model-based imitation of character education for the academic community of the PGRI Semarang University. This study uses R & D.Design based on the indicators set out in the imitation contained four components, namely the character of self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, and social skills. This model describes the monitoring and evaluation of imitation-based character education are implemented in an integrated manner. Suitability monitoring and evaluation design, implementation monitoring and evaluation, and monitoring and evaluation instrument of accession with the activities of the academic community into the main direction of this model.Research recommendations are given to the agencies to be able to change the conceptual model into a contextual model

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah (a) adakah pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah, (b) adakah pengaruh budaya sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah, dan (c) adakah pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan budaya sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap efektivitas sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui besarnya pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah, (2) mengetahui besarnya pengaruh budaya sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah, dan (3) mengetahui besarnya pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan budaya sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap efektivitas sekolah. Populasi penelitian 120 guru SDN di UPPK Petarukan Kabupaten Pemalang. Sampel ditetapkan secara proporsional random sampling sebannyak 89 guru. Pengambilan data melalui kuesioner. Uji validitas, reliabilitas instrument penelitian, uji normalitas data, linearitas, multikolinearitas, heterokedastisitas, uji regresi tunggal dan regresi ganda menggunakan SPSS for windows 21. Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah sebesar 39,9% dengan regresi Ŷ= 72,898 + 0,544 X1, (2) pengaruh budaya sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah sebesar 74,9 % dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ= 27,092 + 0,112X2, dan (3) pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan budaya sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap efektivitas sekolah sebesar 40,3%, persamaan regresi Ŷ= 64,191 + 0,541 X1 + 0,488 X2.

Abstract

Age 4 - 6 years is the golden age in the development of child's life. At this age, all the potential ability of children can be developed optimally. One of the abilities that need to be developed is the child's ability to understand and express expressive language (basic competence 3-11-4.11) with an image telling indicator. Researchers found that the ability of children in telling the picture has not grown in line with expectations is 15 children there are only 3 children who can tell the appropriate language, 5 children who dare to appear in front and 4 children with a loud enough voice. Seeing these conditions, researchers tried to improve it by using media rotasia. The research was conducted at TK Pamekar Budi Desa Candisari Mranggen District for 3 months from August to October 2016 and using 2 cycles. The aspects studied in this improvement activity is the courage of children telling stories in front of the class, the suitability of the story with the picture and the volume of the child's voice when telling a story. Cycle I, researchers make improvements with the media rotation to tell stories with the title "Share it Fun" and "Queuing". During the learning obtained the findings that children are still a little difficult to operate media rotasia. In Cycle I, there is an increase in the students' learning spirit. The ability of students also increased rapidly. In the aspect of courage, there was an increase to 9 children (60%), story aspect 8 children (53%) and sound aspect to 6 children (40%). Looking at the results obtained in Cycle I and it has not reached the established success indicator that is as much as 80% then the researchers proceed to the improvement of learning Cycle II. In Cycle II this is obtained a satisfactory result. Children are accustomed to using media rotasia. Children are also more excited, this is seen during the learning process takes place, children are eager to appear in front and tell stories. The increase that occurred in Cycle II was as follows in the aspect of courage increased to 15 children (100%), story aspect 14 children (93%) and sound aspect to 14 children (93%). Looking at the results obtained in Cycle II and it has reached the established success indicator that is as much as 80% then the follower researchers proceed to the next cycle.
