Abstract

Pesantren has been believed to be a form of indigenous educational system in Indonesia. The history and nature of pesantren have both shown that there is a good relation between pesantren and the society. This will be the focus of the study. It would investigate the notion of how pesantren is related to the wider community, and what are its strategies to keep the community in touch with it? All this will be discussed with referring particularly to the case of pesantren Sidogiri and its already-existing unit called public relation unit. Qualitative in its nature, the paper is phenomenological in its approach. It assumes that generally speaking, any pesantren in Indonesia would –in the beginning- run by accident, and not by design. But as it grows, it becomes as modern as any advanced educational institution would be. Hence, the paper will show that pesantren Sidogiri is aware of the importance of imagebuilding, and that it consciously pursues it through its software and hardware mechanism. The paper will also show that the surrounding community and the alumni are in fact part of the pesantren’s network to build a better image.

Abstract

The development of civilization depends on the potential of human resourcesis managing. Human resource potential will be maximized when supported by advanced education. In other say, between education and civilization are the two things are directly proportional. Therefore, civilized nations provide dedicated space for education. The more space for the higher education of civilization that will be engraved. Opposite, a civilization that is weak because education does not have a dequate space. The essential values that includes the eighteen character value that discourse is not just a slogan but also requires real implementation and embedded in the character of students, which it could only be integrated through a learning process, a role model and habitus in education through the role of teacher. In genealogy, this article will examine the role of teacher in instilling the value of the character as the support base of civilization, carried out through five major roles namely: transferring, transforming, modeling, transcending, and inspiring. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the analysis of financial ratio to the company’s stock and value (Tobins’Q). Samples in this research are metal and chemical industry manufacturing companies which are listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2008–2012 periods by using purposive sampling method. The statistic test method is using the multiple linear regressions analysis in this research. Current Ratio, Total Assets Turn Over, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets, Return on Equity, Price Earnings Ratio are used as independent variables in this research, stock return and company’s value (Tobins’Q) are used as dependent variables. The result of research shows that current ratio has no significant influence to the stock return and Tobins’Q. Total Assets Turn Over has no significant influence to the stock return but it has significant influence to the Tobins’Q while Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Assets, Return on Equity, Price Earnings Ratio have significant influence to the stock return and Tobins’Q.Keywords: Financial Ratio, Company Performance, Stock Return, and Tobins’Q.

Abstract

Thought KH. M. Hasyim Asyari is reflected in some of his attitudes and writings. The story of the beginning of the establishment of Nahdatul Ulama 'can be an example of how KH. M. Hasyim Asyari has taken a decision or the initial idea of ​​the establishment of this NU. It is said that it came from KH. Wahab Hasbullah who is one of his students. Thought KH. M. Hasyim Asyari, whose knowledge is broad and his services and spiritual strength is indistinguishable, knows who and how his thoughts are. He knows very well about politics and he also has patriotism which then underlies the revision of spirit.

Abstract

Tinginya Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di Indonesia disebabkan oleh perdarahan, hipertensi dalam kehamilan dan infeksi.  Deteksi dini dengan kunjungan antenatal care dapat menekan komplikasi pada saat kehamilan maupun persalinan yang diharapkan dapat menekan AKI. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh predisposisi perilaku ibu hamil anemia dalam pemanfaatan layanan antenatal care dan mengkonsumsi tablet Fe ditinjau dari status ekonomi dan paritas.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional survey.  Populasi ibu hamil resiko tinggi sejumlah 366 dengan total sampling 78 ibu hamil yang memenuhi ktiteria inklusi. Pengetahuan merupakan predisposisi perilaku ibu hamil anemia yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan dalam pemanfaatan layanan antenatal care dan mengkonsumsi tablet Fe.Bleeding, hypertension in pregnancy and infection caused the high Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia. Early detection by Antenatal Care can reduce complications during pregnancy, childbirth and MMR.  The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of predisposition behavior on anemia maternity towards Antenatal Care services and consuming iron supplementation viewed from economic status and parity. This research is analytic observational with cross sectional  approach. The population of pregnant at high risk for a total amount of 366 sampling 78 pregnant who meet the inclusion ctiteria.   Knowledge predisposes behavior of pregnant women anemia that affect compliance in the utilization of antenatal care and consuming iron supplementation.

Abstract

AbstrakSetiap kehamilan dapat berisiko mengalami komplikasi yang dapat terjadi dari masa kehamilan sampai nifas. Salah satu upaya dalam menurunkan AKI yaitu pengadaan kelas ibu hamil yang mulai dilakukan pada tahun 2009. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor resiko ibu hamil dengan partisipasi keikutsertaan kelas ibu hamil di Kelurahan Beji, Kecamatan Taman, Kabupaten Pemalang. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Februari sampai Maret 2018 dengan total sampling 54 ibu hamil. Hasil analisis bivariat  dari 8 variabel independen didapatkan hasil signifikan adalah 2 variabel (signifikasi p value < 0,05), yaitu : faktor keikutsertaan kelas hamil awal (p value 0.000) dan faktor keikutsertaan kelas hamil akhir (p value 0.000) yang menjadikan ibu berpartisipasi dalam kelas ibu hamil. Sedangkan faktor resiko hamil dari: gravida, usia kehamilan, jarak hamil, Kadar Haemoglobin, lingkar lengan atas, dan kartu skor Puji Rochyati tidak memiliki hubungan dengan partisipasi kelas ibu hamil. Hubungan dari kedua variabel atau exp(B); dari : faktor keikutsertaan kelas awal dan kelas akhir memiliki peluang secara bersama-sama sebesar 2.375 kali terjadinya peningkatan partisipasi ibu hamil dalam mengikuti kelas ibu hamil di kelurahan Beji, Kecamatan Taman, Kabupaten Pemalang. Kata Kunci:  Faktor resiko ibu hamil, kelas ibu hamil. The Relationship of Risk Factors for Pregnant Womenwith the Participation of Pregnant Women Classes AbstractEvery pregnancy can be at risk of complications that can occur from pregnancy to postpartum. One effort to reduce MMR is the provision of classes for pregnant women which began in 2009. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between risk factors for pregnant women with participation in the participation of pregnant women in Beji Village, Taman Subdistrict, Pemalang District. This research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted in February to March 2018 with a total sampling of 54 pregnant women. The results of bivariate analysis of 8 independent variables obtained significant results were 2 variables (significance p value <0.05), namely: the factor of participation in the early pregnant class (p value 0.000) and the factor of participation in the final pregnant class (p value 0.000) in the class of pregnant women. While the risk factors for pregnancy from: gravida, gestational age, distance of pregnancy, hemoglobin level, upper arm circumference, and scorecard Puji Rochyati had no relationship with class participation of pregnant women. Relationship of both variables or exp (B); from: the initial and final class participation factors had a chance together of 2,375 times the increase in participation of pregnant women in taking classes in pregnant women in the Beji village, Taman Subdistrict, Pemalang Regency.Keywords: Risk factors for pregnant women, pregnant women class.

Abstract

The activity of memorizing the Qur’an is highly recommended to be done as it can balance the two hemispheres of the brain so as to encourage someone to excel. This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, supervision of the Quranic Tahfidz education program for children aged 6-12 years. The research took place in Kudus City at Children Tahfidz Yanbu’ul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School Kudus. This research is under qualitative research; the data collection methods were taken from interviews, observation and documentation studies. To prove the validity of the data, source and method triangulation techniques were used in this research. Data analysis techniques use the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that (1) the planning begins with the selection of new students who have been able to read and write the Qur’an smoothly using the Sorogan method, planning is made for a period of 6 years and each year's achievement is broken down to obtain the minimum target. (2) The implementation is carried out with a breakdown system grouped according to the tahfidz class. (3) Supervision is carried out through memorization and evaluation of memorization of the Qur'an which is held every weekend by means of mudarosah ayatan. The management of a good education program results in children aged 6-12 years being able to memorize the Qur’an 30 juz accompanied by superior academic achievement.

Abstract

Culture is dynamic rather than rigid and static. Culture is the implementation of state of mind and normative values of the society. The culture of organization at schools is socialized through internalization of common beliefs and values such as trust, behaviors or attitudes and symbols upon which the norms of collective behaviors are based. Successful internalization of those common values and norms will create secure and conducive working environments among the members, which eventually enhance their organizational commitments and loyalties. In other words, a strong organizational culture will provide the required structures and controls without heavily relying on formal bureaucracies which in many cases can discourage motivation and innovation.Keywords: Budaya Organisasi, Nilai

Abstract

Boarding school faces several challenges in order to maintain its existence, one of which is the usefulness of students in the community, and competition with non pesantren output. However, the boarding school also innovations in the form of public school founded in boarding schools so that students or graduates of the boarding school has a graduate diploma equivalent to non pesantren. In addition, the function of the public schools as well as improving the quality of output boarding. In addition, efforts to require students to stay in the boarding school is also important, because schools are a good place to inheritance traditions. Keywords: Role of Educators, Nation's Civilization, Character Education. Abstrak: Maju mundurnya peradaban suatu bangsa tergantung pada potensi sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang mengelolanya. Potensi SDM akan maksimal manakala ditopang oleh pendidikan yang maju. Tak salah jika kekuatan pendidikan merupakan penopang peradaban bangsa yang utama. Antara pendidikan dan peradaban merupakan dua hal yang berbanding lurus. Oleh karena itu bangsa yang beradab memberikan ruang khusus untuk pendidikan. Semakin banyak ruang untuk pendidikan maka semakin tinggi peradaban yang akan diukir. Sebaliknya, peradaban yang lemah dikarenakan pendidikan tidak mempunyai ruang yang memadai. Nilai-nilai esensial yang meliputi delapan belas nilai karakter bukan sekadar slogan yang diwacanakan melainkan membutuhkan implementasi nyata dan tertanam dalam karakter peserta didik, yang mana hal tersebut hanya bisa diintegrasikan melalui proses pembelajaran, suri tauladan dan habitus dalam dunia pendidikan melalui peran pendidik. Secara genealogi, artikel ini akan mengkaji peran pendidik dalam menanamkan nilai karakter sebagai penopang dasar peradaban bangsa, dilakukan melalui lima peran utama yakni: transferring, transforming, modelling, transcending, dan inspiring. Dalam proses pendidikan, kelima peran tersebut bersifat integrative-mutually inclusive. Kata kunci: Peran Pendidik, Peradaban Bangsa, Pendidikan Karakter.
