Abstract

The teacher professionalism reflects the teachers ability and performance in carrying out the duties to achieve education goals. In fact, there are many factors which influence the teacher professionalism. The objective of the study is to analyze the influence o       f the rincipal`s managerial competence, work motivation, and those  both variables toward teacher professionalism. It was a non-experimental quantitative approach. The population of the study was 172 teachers at Business and Management Vocational High Schools at Tegal city. The samples were taken by Krejcei table to get 114 teachers as the samples. Data were collected by questionnaire.  The results of the research showed that the principal’s managerial competence was good and significant, the influence of work motivation toward teacher professionalism was in good and significant category. Then, the influence of those both variables toward teacher professionalism was up to 47.8%. The regression analysis showed that: there was a positive and significant influence of the principal’s managerial competence toward teacher professionalism for 17.7%, work motivation gave positive and significant influence on teacher professionalism with the coefficient of determination was 46.8%. Furthermore; the results of multiple regression analysis showed that the influence of both variables simultaneously influenced teacher professionalism with the coefficient of determination was 47.8%.

Abstract

This study aimed to influence organizational culture of schools, the amount of compensation received by the influence of teachers, the magnitude of the influence of pedagogical competence held by teachers on teacher performance and simultaneous influence of school culture, compensation, and pedagogical competence of the teachers performance Vocational Business and management in Tegal. Descriptive statistical analysis of the results of school organizational culture variables mean of 83.9298 either category or 61.40 %, 72.2544 compensation either category or 50.00 %, 85.1667 pedagogic either category or by 59.65 % and teacher performance is obtained mean of 99.9737 higher category or by 67.54 %. There is a positive and significant influence, school organizational culture, compensation and pedagogical competence of the teachers performance by 46.8 %. Influence of the organizational culture on the performance of the teacher is the smallest. Related to compensate teachers should understand and realize that through a raise, educator certification, and incentive routine of school should be a trigger spirit to maintain the performance of teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of principal managerial competence, working motivation on teacher professionalism. This research employs a non-experimental quantitative approach. The population was 172 teachers at Business and Management Vocational High Schools in Tegal. 114 teachers were analyzed as sample and data were collected by using questionnaire. Findings show that the principal managerial competence and work motivation have significant influence on teacher professionalism.. The influence of those two variables on teacher professionalism is 47.8%. Based on the regression analysis, it shows that there is a positive and significant influence of principal managerial competence on teacher professionalism, which is equal by 17.7%. Working motivation has also positive and significant influences on teacher professionalism with the coefficient of determination by 46.8%. Furthermore, the result of multiple regression analysis shows that the influence of both variables simultaneously influence on teacher professionalism with the coefficient of determination by 47.8%.

Abstract

The success of education management is determined by the teachers’ readiness in preparing the process of education through teaching and learning instructions. At present, the problem is how the teachers’ performance is associated more with the quality of education. The performance of qualified teachers is demonstrated by the attitudes of the teachers who are capable and ready to play their professional role in the two major environments, school, and society. This study examines the teachers’ performance with various factors that influence it. This is a quantitative research study. The population was all business and management teachers of vocational schools (SMK) in Tegal City amounting to 202 teachers. The number of samples was 130 teachers. The data were collected through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data were then analyzed employing the path analysis with SPPS software version 19 and Sobel test to assess the mediation variables. The results show that (1) the influence of compensation, academic supervision, and academic competence on the teachers’ work motivation was proven to be accepted; (2) the effect of compensation and academic supervision on the teachers’ performance was proven to be accepted; (3) the influence of work motivation on the teachers’ performance was proven to be accepted. Work motivation is a mediating variable. The results show a positive and significant influence. It is suggested that teachers continue to improve their work motivation and understand the academic supervision when performing tasks with various determining factors. Pedagogic competence needs to be continuously improved as a place to develop the teachers performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine how the influence of mastery of basic accounting vocabulary, accounting competence and computer competence on MYOB accounting computer learning outcomes. The research was included in the quantitative type with the correlational method. The population in this study were students of class XI Accounting at SMK NU 1 Islamiyah Kramat, totalling 115 students in the 2020-2021 academic year. Sampling was carried out by using a random technique using the proportional random sampling method and calculated using the Slovin formula in order to obtain 97 students. This study used primary data sources obtained from tests to measure the level of mastery of English accounting vocabulary, accounting competence and computer competence. Meanwhile, secondary data sources were obtained from several sources which were considered to have relevance to the research. Data analysis used multiple linear regression method. The results of the study, both simultaneously and partially, showed a significant influence between foreign language accounting vocabulary competence, accounting competence and computer competence on MYOB learning outcomes. Suggestions for further research are to examine learning outcomes by presenting intervening variables and linking them with other independent variables.

Abstract

A step is needed to build entrepreneurial interests of the younger generation, one of which is to create a program that accommodates the aspirations of generations to increase their business interests, namely through entrepreneurial training programs. Business planning training program for the younger generation is done in Tegalsari Village, Tegalsari. This business planning training program aims to increase entrepreneurial interest for young people and guide the business preparation process ranging from the introduction of types of businesses to the preparation of businesses through examples of businesses made by participants. Based on the results of the training activities that have been carried out, it can be drawn as follows. Participants' knowledge of entrepreneurship is very strong as seen from pre-test and post-test results. This result is quite proud because most participants are participants who have received entrepreneurial counseling in the previous year. The delivery of knowledge about the preparation of business planning can improve the knowledge and understanding of participants about the objectives and benefits and the importance of making business planning before deciding to be entrepreneurial Diperlukan sebuah langkah untuk membangun minat berwirausaha para generasi muda yaitu salah satunya dengan membuat sebuah program yang menampung aspirasi para generasi untuk meningkatkan minat usahanya yaitu melalui program pelatihan kewirausahaa. Program pelatihan perencanaan usaha untuk generasi muda ini di lakukan di kelurahan Tegalsari Kota Tegal. Program pelatihan perencanaan usaha ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat wirausaha bagi kalangan muda dan membimbing proses penyusunan usaha mulai dari pengenalan jenis – jenis usaha sampai dengan menyusun usaha melalui contoh usaha yang dibuat oleh peserta. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan, dapat ditarik simpulan sebagai berikut. Pengetahuan peserta mengenai kewirausahaan tergolong sangat kuat yang terlihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test. Hasil ini cukup membanggakan karena sebagian besar peserta adalah peserta yang telah mendapatkan penyuluhan kewirausahaan pada tahun sebelumnya. Penyampaian pengetahuan tentang penyusunan perencanaan usaha dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta mengenai tujuan dan manfaatnya serta pentingnya membuat perencanaan usaha sebelum memutuskan berwirausaha.

Abstract

His study aims to determine: 1) the application of character education through local cultural wisdom among students, 2) supporting factors and inhibitors of character education through local cultural wisdom of students, 3) the results of the application of local culture-based character education to students. This research is a qualitative descriptive study of the research location at Pancasakti Tegal University using primary data sources and skuder namely data analysis techniques used by interviews and documentation. Data analysis is qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that, the application of character education through local cultural wisdom (case studies on Pancasakti Tegal University students include: 1. Application of character education in the learning or intracurecular process, namely a). fear of violating campus rules,b). lecturer commitment to students, c). the integrity of the lecturer honesty in the campus. 2. Application of character education through the student activity unit namely. a) art field, b) moral and community development. 3. Supporting Factors and Companions The application of character education through local cultural wisdom includes: supporting actors namely. A) factors of lecturer adherence, b). exemplary parents, c). exemplary community leaders, d). habituation factor. 4 inhibiting factors are a). technological advances such as mobile phones and TV, b) lack of communication between lecturers and parents. 5. The results of the application of character education through local culture are: a. students have not been disciplined b. students don't respect lecturers.
