Abstract

ABSTRAKParameter-parameter fisika gunungapi diungkap dengan metode geofisika. Survei kakas gravitasi dan magnetik  yang menghasilkan anomali positive bagi medan gravitasi dan magnetiknya, mengungkap struktur statis bawah permukaannya. Analisis tremor volkanik mengungkap dinamika internalnya. Gerakan-gerakan (aliran) fluida magma di dalam gunungapi menjadi sumber getar yang memancarkan gelombang seismik yang di sebut tremor volkanik. Lokasi, migrasi, daya pancar, bentuk geometri sistem pipa-kantong magma, periodisasi, model matematis dan sebagainya. Gempa volkanik yang disebabkan aktivitas magma dapat dijadikan indikator. Hasil pengeplotan posisi hiposenter dan episenter terhadap gempa volkanik yang terjadi, juga dapat mengungkap struktur statis bawah permukaan gunungapi. Kata Kunci : parameter-parameter fisika gunungapi; struktur statis bawah permukaanbawah permukaan ABSTRACTUsing methods of geophysics, physical parameters of volcano are described. Gravity and magnetic surveys yield positive anomaly on their fields, which can be interpreted as an accumulated material beneath the surface with certain values of its mass density and magnetic susceptibility. Analysis of volcanic tremor at the volcano to the knowledge of its internal dynamics. Fluid magma movements inside a volcano acts as source of vibrations which radiate sesmic wave called volcanic tremor. Location, migration, radiation power, geometry of magma chamber-pipe system, periodicities, mathematical models, etc. Volcanic earthquakes caused by magma activity can also be used as indicators. The results of the hypocenter and epicenter position of the volcanic earthquake that occurred, can also reveal the subsurface static structure of the volcano. Keywords : physical parameters;subsurface static structure

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of student achievement with field-dependent (FD) and field-independent (FI) cognitive styles. The method used in this research is a comparative descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 30 prospective physics teacher students who were studying at the University of Mataram. Research data were taken using the Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT) and documentation of the study result card (SRC). GEFT is used to determine cognitive style while documentation is used to determine the cumulative achievement index (CAI) of students. Based on the results of the t-test at the 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) with the degree of independence (dk =   2= 28), it shows that there are significant differences in learning achievement between FI and FD students. The average learning achievement of FI students (CAI = 3.15) tends to be better than that of FD students (CAI = 3.37).

Abstract

Geoelectricity is one of geophysical methods performed by injecting electric current into the earths. This research objected to map aquifers using geoelectric with Schlumberger electrode configuration consisting of 4 sounding points. The results are then processed with IP2WIN software which yields a real resistivity map as a function of depth. The correlation of sounding points produces three-dimensional real resistivity maps. The results of this study located at a housing estate, Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, consists of 4 sounding points show that the aquifer is have huge amount of fresh water The aquifer layer in this area is a free aquifer. At point PA1 the depth of the aquifer starts from a depth of 81.4 – 125 meters; PA2 point at a depth of 80 – 124 meters; PA3 point at a depth of 91.8 – 118 meters; and Point PA4 at a depth of 47.4 – 113 meters

Abstract

Pelatihan Pembuatan Video Pembelajaran untuk Mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika telah dilakukan secara daring. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk melatih mahasiswa calon guru pendidikan fisika dalam pembuatan video pembelajaran sebagai luaran dari kegiatan Pengenalan Lingkungan Persekolahan (PLP). Kemajuan perkembangan teknologi memicu dunia pendidikan untuk terus pula berkembang. Keberadaan media sebagai penunjang pembelajaran juga menjawab kebutuhan zaman. Melalui program Pengenalan Lingkungan Persekolahan mahasiswa calon guru dituntut untuk dapat mampu memahami kegiatan pembelajaran secara langsung di sekolah. Agar dapat menyelesaikan program PLP mahasiswa harus membuat luaran video pembelajaran sehingga perlu diadakan pelatihan membuat video pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah dan tutorial penggunaan hardware dan software editing berbasis smartphone dan PC yaitu VN editor dan Filmora x. Luaran yang diharapkan adalah mahasiswa pendidikan fisika dapat memahami dan membuat video pembelajaran menggunakan software tersebut. Setelah kegiatan ini, mahasiswa diharapkan memperoleh wawasan dan keterampilan dalam pembuatan video pembelajaran untuk membuat luaran kegiatan Pengenalan Lingkungan Persekolahan (PLP).

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan kepada para guru dalam melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), menyusun karya ilmiah, dan melakukan publikasi karya ilmiah hasil penelitian ke dalam jurnal nasional. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan PkM ini adalah para guru di SMA Negeri 1 Kopang yang berjumlah 39 orang. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan kegiatan adalah pendidikan dan pelatihan, dimana dilakukan serangkaian kegiatan in service training (IST) dan on service training (OST). Kegiatan in service training (IST) dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan andragogis yang mengedepankan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan presentasi. Hasil kegiatan IST telah meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang konsep PTK, karya tulis ilmiah, dan publikasi ilmiah. Selanjutnya, kegiatan on service training (OST) dilaksanakan pada saat guru menyusun karya ilmiah dalam bentuk artikel yang siap dipublikasi dalam jurnal nasional. Kurun waktu pelaksanaan kegiatan mulai dari persiapan sampaia dengan pelaporan adalah dalam 6 (enam) bulan. Akhirnya, melalui serangkaian kegiatan PkM yang telah terlaksana (melalui mekanisme IST dan OST), para guru yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pelatihan telah memperoleh pemahaman dan kemampuan dalam melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dan menyusun karya tulis ilmiah yang siap dipublikasi dalam jurnal nasional. Secara umum, kegiatan PkM telah berjalan dengan lancar dengan terpenuhinya target tujuan yang diharapkan dalam kegiatan PkM ini. Classroom Action Research and Scientific Writing Training for Teachers Abstract This community service activity (PkM) aims to provide training to teachers in carrying out classroom action research (CAR/PTK), compiling scientific papers, and publishing scientific research results in national journals. The participants involved in this PkM activity were the 39 teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Kopang. The method used to achieve the objectives of the activity is education and training, where a series of in-service training (IST) and on-service training (OST) activities are carried out. In service training (IST) activities are carried out using an andragogic approach that prioritizes lecture, discussion, and presentation methods. The results of IST activities have increased teachers' understanding of the concept of PTK, scientific papers, and scientific publications. Furthermore, on service training (OST) activities are carried out when the teacher composes scientific papers in the form of articles that are ready to be published in national journals. The period of implementation of activities starting from preparation to reporting is 6 (six) months. Finally, through a series of PkM activities that have been carried out (through the IST and OST mechanisms), the teachers involved in the training activities have gained understanding and ability in carrying out classroom action research, and compiling scientific papers that are ready to be published in national journals. In general, PkM activities have been running smoothly with the fulfillment of the goals expected in this PkM activity.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the causes of low student learning outcomes in the Basic Physics  course in the physics Education Dept. University of Mataram in 2021. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive that examines the main problems related to the difficulties of the study of physics. The research population was all students in the Physics Education Dept, University of Mataram who took the Basic Physics course. The research sample was students who took the short semester course in the Basic Physics course using the purposive sample technique. While the research instrument used is in the form of a questionnaire whose answers have been provided, so that respondents just choose the options that have been provided. The results of the analysis show that learning difficulties in studying mechanics lie in the basic mathematical abilities, namely differential and integral. Thus, teachers need to develop learning strategies so that students' thinking skills in solving problems are increasing.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the implementation of education, including learning physics. All learning processes must be carried out online to stop the spread of the virus. Online physics learning is physics learning that is carried out in a network by utilizing technological advances in the form of the internet to achieve learning objectives. There are various means of supporting online learning. Technological advances are so rapid, making it easier for students to get learning resources that are relevant to curriculum needs. One of the most popular online learning resources is Brainly. Brainly is quite popular among students and teachers and is often used to support learning, especially online learning of physics. The purpose of this study was to find out how the use and impact of Brainly in learning physics. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a questionnaire instrument distributed to high school students in Mataram City through WhatsApp Groups. It was found that the use of Brainly in physics learning is quite often used and has a positive impact on student learning outcomes
