Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan spiritual (spiritual leadership) terhadap keterikatan personil (employee engaged) di Satuan Brimob Polda Jambi serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterikatan personil (employee engaged) terhadap kinerja Satuan Brimob Polda Jambi dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan spiritual (spiritual leadership) terhadap kinerja Satuan Brimob Polda Jambi melalui keterikatan personil (employee engaged). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dengan menggunakan metode survei, yaitu metode pengumpulan data primer berdasarkan komunikasi antara peneliti dan responden. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa data subjek yang menyatakan opini, sikap, pengalaman, atau karakteristik subjek secara individual atau kelompok. Peneliti melakukan penyebaran kuisioner untuk menjawab pernyataan yang telah disiapkan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Satuan Brimob Polda Jambi pada bulan November hingga Januari 2021. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah personil Satuan Brimob Polda Jambi sebanyak 205 personil. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kuisioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil pengujian secara parsial antara kepemimpinan spiritual terhadap keterikatan karyawan, hasil pengujian secara parsial antara keterikatan karyawan terhadap kinerja organisasi, hasil pengujian secara parsial antara kepemimpinan spiritual terhadap kinerja organisasi pada Satuan Brimob Polda Jambi menunjukan nilai path coefficient, dengan demikian Hipotesis dapat diterima.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengindentifikasikan pengaruh Kegiatan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (KPSDM) terhadap kinerja pramuwisata di Provinsi Jambi melalui soft competency. Ketiga variabel tersebut akan dikonstruk dan dilihat hubungan antar ketiganya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yang bersifat kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner serta dilakukan analisa menggunakan partial least square (PLS) dan menganalisa 3 model persamaan, yaitu model bagian luar (outer model), model bagian dalam( inner model) dan pengujian hipotesis. Berdasarkan data yang telah dikumpulkan dan telah diolah menggunakan SmartPLS, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara KPSDM terhadap kinerja, pengaruh yang signifikan antara KPSDM terhadap soft competency, pengaruh signifikan antara soft competency terhadap kinerja serta pengaruh signifikan antara KPSDM terhadap kinerja melalui soft competency. Implikasi yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pramuwisata Provinsi Jambi harus secara aktif melakukan Kegiatan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia untuk pramuwisata di Provinsi Jambi agar dapat terus meningkatkan soft competency dan kinerja pramuwisata.

Abstract

Creative economy entrepreneurs and the community around this tourist destination should be a concern for many parties, their readiness in dealing with changes that occur mus be balanced with the knowledge and strategies they must have in order to make it potential to be able to improve their standard of living and independence in entrepreneurship. The increase in creative economy business actors, they can provide employment opportunities for themselves and their surroundings so that the development of the tourism sector can go hand in hand with the development of the creative economy of the surrounding community. Assistance in developing business strategies is currently an important requirement for the Muara Jambi village community to be able to compete with other private and large entrepreneurs, so that they also have benefit from the development of these tourist destinations. The achievement target of  this activity is a change in mindset so that their business is more business-oriented with accsess to online-based sales. The Result from this activity are small business traders and local residents who are very enthusiastic and understanding of the material that has been provided is expected to be realized soon to increase family income.

Abstract

The model for strengthening the Performance of Sharia Cooperatives / BMT in Jambi Province is a model produced to strengthen the performance of Sharia cooperatives which is measured from the non-financial aspect, because so far the performance measurement of Sharia cooperatives is measured from the financial aspect. However, the measurement of performance from the financial aspect has no impact on performance. This study aims to explore transformational leadership, the use of information technology, partnerships can strengthen the performance of Sharia cooperatives, which have been experiencing slow growth. The survey data used were 33 Sharia cooperatives in Jambi Province, Indonesia, using the variance-based SEM modeling, Partial Least Square (PLS). This research produces a model that Transformational leadership and the use of information technology can strengthen the performance of Sharia cooperatives by building internal and external partnerships. The model illustrates that transformational leadership and the use of information technology have a positive and significant effect on strengthening the performance of Sharia cooperatives, but the influence of transformational leadership and the use of information technology has a greater positive and significant effect when strengthening performance through partnerships that are built.

Abstract

This study examined the role of servant leadership in encouraging innovative work behavior of civil servants through increased employee engagement. This study used a quantitative method   by distributing   a   list   of   questions   to 116 Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) from several institutions in Jambi City. The primary data were analyzed using SEM-SmartPLS. The results showed that servant leadership had no significant positive effect on innovative work behavior, but servant leadership positively affected employee engagement. Moreover, employee engagement also has a significant positive impact on innovative work behavior. Thus, employee engagement is a complete mediation in the relationship between servant leadership and innovative work behavior. The results indicated that innovative behavior could be increased by enhancing employee engagement stimulated by servant leadership.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan solusi atas persoalan limbah sabut kelapa dan persoalan BUMDES di Desa Manunggal Makmur yang belum memiliki aktivitas ekonomi utama untuk menggerakkan perekonomian desa melalui pelatihan manajemen usaha pengolahan sabut kelapa. Mitra pengabdian ini terdiri dari Pengurus Bumdes, Perangkat Desa serta Pemuda Kader desa sebanyak 15 orang. Metode pelatihan menggunakan pelatihan partisipatif yang melibatkan peserta dalam setiap tahapan pelatihan mulai dari pra pelatihan hingga tahapan evaluasi pelatihan (Participant Learning Center/PLC dan Project Based Learning). Materi yang diberikan meliputi manajemen organisasi dan manajemen keuangan, manajemen produksi dan manajemen pemasaran orientasi ekspor. Luaran yang dicapai dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan, pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengelola usaha pengolahan sabut kelapa. Usaha ini diharapkan menjadi aktivitas utama Bumdes mengelola potensi lokal desa, menggerakkan perekonomian masyarakat desa yang umumnya petani kelapa serta dapat meningkatkan pendapatan asli desa.

Abstract

It seems unquestionable that education matters for human and economic development and the roles of teachers in classroom are very important for producing good human resources in terms of student achievement. This study aimed to determine the effect of training and work motivation on teacher performance in one junior high school in Jambi, Indonesia. The respondents in this study were 13 employees. In collecting the data, questionnaires were used with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique in this study used an analytical tool, namely SPSS Version 25. The results indicated that (1) partially training had a significant positive effect on teacher performance, (2) partially work motivation had a significant positive effect on teacher performance, and (3) simultaneously training and work motivation had a significant effect on teacher performance. Implications of findings are discussed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui gambaran tata Kelola, kompetensi, perilaku Inovatif dan kinerja BUMdesa yang ada di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat; serta untuk menganalisis pengaruh tata kelola dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja BUMdesa yang ada di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui perilaku inovatif sebagai variable intervening. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh organisasi BUMdes yang ada di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat dengan jumlah 114 BUMDesa. Ukuran sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Dimana sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini memenuhi beberapa kriteria yang telah di tentukan, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 50 BUMDesa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey dan menggunakan analisis data Partial Least Square (PLS). Namun sebelum analisis, terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji outer model melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Selanjutnya melakukan uji Inner Model melalui uji R-Square (Coefficient of determination), dan F-Square (f2 effect size). Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tata kelola dan kompetensi memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja BUMdesa, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui perilaku inovatif sebagai variable intervening. Hal ini menjelaskan bahwa semakin baiknya tata kelola dan kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh pengurus BUMDesa, akan berpengaruh terhadap perilaku inovatif pengurus dalam mengelola BUMDesa, yang berdampak dengan semakin baiknya kinerja Badan Usaha Milik Desa.

Abstract

This activity aims to help female micro-entrepreneurs who are recipients of the  Program Keluarga Harapan solve their problems in their business so that they can proceed towards graduation. The problems faced are the entrepreneurial spirit which sometimes fluctuates, especially during a pandemic; limited capital to increase business volume; limited knowledge of business management, as well as low access/utilization of technology to support business. The solution for solving this problem is to provide business strengthening through entrepreneurship training, digital marketing and assistance for the formation of joint business groups. Training and mentoring are carried out using participant and project based learning methods as well as mentoring. The activity was carried out for 6 months, starting from May to October 2021. The team consisted of 5 people with relevant fields of expertise. The result of this activity is an increase in the entrepreneurial spirit, knowledge and empowerment of PPM partners so that they can improve their Culinary Business and progress towards graduation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze Model of improving employee through organizational commitment to Pulp Industry in Sumatera. The research method used descriptive quantitative. The sample of this study used probability sampling technique. The sample selection criteria was employees of the pulp industry in Jambi, Pekanbaru and Palembang. Beverage Development with a total of 240 samples obtained from Sumatera (Jambi, Pekanbaru and Palembang). Data analysis was performed by using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The data obtained was processed using a component-based or variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis which is known as Partial Least Square (PLS). It was found that the direct influence of competence, career development and extrinsic motivation and organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance in pulp industry, then the indirect effect of competence, career development and extrinsic motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance mediated by organizational commitment.
