Abstract

Tabam Village is one of the villages in North Ternate City with a modern community background, where smartphones and laptops are no longer new items for the local community. However, the administrative management system in the sub-district is still far from expectations in the current era. The administrative management system starting from making Identity Cards, Family Cards, Birth Certificates to Death Certificates is still conventional. This kind of administrative management system is believed to have many weaknesses such as paper wastage, interference with computer media and requires a long time to process one letter. How is the implementation of the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method in the design of the administrative information system in Tabam village. The research objective is to determine the implementation of the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method in the design of administrative information systems in Tabam village. The research method carried out in the study there are several methods, namely, conducting observations to see directly the administrative services in the output office, as well as conducting library studies to review relevant previous research journals and conducting studies on books related to research. The research system or application design uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method in several phases or stages, namely the Requirement Planning stage, the Design stage, and the Implementation stage.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi informasi begitu cepat sehingga dapat mempengaruhi tatanan kehidupan. Kehadiran teknologi informasi tak lain adalah untuk dipergunakan dalam membantu menyelesaikan pekerjaan manusia. Teknologi informasi bidang kontrol dapat dijumpai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seperti pintu automatis, lif, escalator dan lain sebagainya. Namun, dalam implementasinya menjadi sebuah tantangan yang harus dipertimbangkan dalam penggunaan perangkat yang diperlukan. Perangkat yang dimaksud seperti penggunaan motor yang perlu diperhatikan terhadap konsumsi daya, system embed mudah di maitenace, dan lain sebagainya. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mendesain sistem sensing yang dapat mendeteksi pergerakan orang dengan mengunakan pendekatan teknik swicing serta komponen Arduino, sensor PIR, dan relay untuk membangun sistem pintu otomatis dengan hanya mengunakan motor DC dua pole. Tahapan riset ini mengunakan dua scenario untuk menentukan motor DC berputar mengatur pintu buka dan tutup. Skenario pertama motor diatur berputar serah jarum jam yang merupakan reprentasi pintu terbuka. Skenario kedua motor diatur berputar berlawanan arah jarum jam yang merupakan reprentasi pintu tertutup. Hasil dari penelitian menujukan apabila sensor PIR mendeksi manusia maka Pin 4 arduino terhubung ralay1= 1 volt, dan pin 5 arduino terhubung relay2 = 0 volt sehingga motor DC dapat berputar searah jarum jam. Jika sensor PIR tidak mendeteksi manusia maka Pin 4 arduino terhubung ralay1= 0 volt, dan pin 5 arduino terhubung relay2 = 1 volt sehingga motor DC dapat berputar berlawanan jarum jam.Kata kunci: Teknologi Informasi, Sitem Kontrol, Pintu Otomatis, ArduinoAbstract: The development of information technology is so fast that it can affect the order of life. The presence of information technology is none other than to be used to help complete human work. Information technology in the control field can be found in everyday life, such as automatic doors, lifts, escalators, etc. However, its implementation becomes a challenge that must be considered in using the necessary tools. The devices in question are the use of motors that need to be considered for power consumption; the embed system is easy to maintain, and so on. This research aims to design a sensing system that can detect the movement of people by using a switching technique approach as well as Arduino components, PIR sensors, and relays to build an automatic door system using only a two-pole DC motor. This research stage uses two scenarios to determine how the DC motor rotates to regulate the door opening and closing. The first scenario is that the motor is set to turn clockwise, which represents an open door. The second scenario is that the engines rotate counterclockwise, which means a closed door. The study results show that if the PIR sensor detects humans, Pin 4 of Arduino is connected to relay1 = 1 volt, and pin 5 of Arduino is connected to relay2 = 0 volts so that the DC motor can rotate clockwise. If the PIR sensor does not detect humans, then Pin 4 of Arduino is connected to relay1 = 0 volts, and pin 5 of Arduino is connected to relay2 = 1 volt so that the DC motor can rotate counterclockwise.Keywords: Information Technology, Control System, Automatic Door, Arduino
