Abstract

Indonesia memiliki potensi penyakit yang beragam. Ketersediaan obat pada setiap tempat pendistribusian dan penjualan obat belum memadai. Pemerintah belum bisa menangani tidak meratanya penyebaran obat pada distributor obat. Saat ini, belum ada sebuah sistem informasi untuk memantau penyebaran dan pendistribusian obat secara nasional di indonesia. Sistem informasi tersebut dapat dibangun dengan menggunakan teknologi internet ataupun SMS gateway. Identifikasi dan analisis masalah yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan studi literatur. Dari hasil identifikasi dan analisis masalah, diperoleh bagaimana keadaan penyebaran dan distribusi obat di Indonesia dan requirement apa saja yang dibutuhkan dalam merancang sistem informasi berskala nasional untuk memantau penyebaran dan pendistribusian obat di Indonesia. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa sistem interaksi mengenai data distribusi obat di Indonesia antara sarana pelayanan kesehatan dan sarana distribusi obat dengan Kementrian Kesehatan dan Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi, Dinas Kesehatan Kota/Kabupaten, serta masyarakat. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah agar rancangan ini dapat berguna dalam membangun sistem informasi yang sebenarnya dan berskala nasional untuk mengontrol dan mengatur penyebaran obat di Indonesia.   Keywords— pendistribusian, obat, SMS Gateway, monitoring

Abstract

Berdasarkan data dari Direktorat Jendral Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan, diketahui bahwa saat ini, sekitar 90 % bahan baku pembuat obat masih berasal dari luar negeri dan sekitar 60% diantaranya berasal dari Cina, bukan dari Indonesia sendiri. Dengan demikian import bahan baku untuk pembuatan obat di Indonesia cukup besar.  Limbah mangga terdiri dari 12-15% kulit dan 15-20% diantaranya adalah biji mangga. Zat yang paling banyak terkandung dalam keping biji mangga kering adalah pati yaitu rata-rata 58% b/b. Pati biji mangga memiliki kadar pati yang tinggi 58% dan amilosa hingga 33,6%, sehingga pati biji mangga memiliki prospektif yang baik untuk dikembangkan sebagai bahan baku untuk bedak dingin/masker dan sebagai disintegran. Hasil penelitian tentang pemanfaatan limbah buah mangga menunjukan bahwa pati biji mangga sangat bagus digunakan karena hasil pemeriksaan dari karakterisasi pati biji mangga untuk mengetahui kualitas pati, analisis kadar air, analisis ukuran partikel menggunakan SEM (scanning electron microscope) yang bermaksud untuk melakukan analisis kuantitatif pada ukuran granula dan pengamatan secara kualitatif untuk mengetahui struktur granula pati, EDS (energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy) dilakukan untuk mengetahui komposisi-komposisi atom pada fregelatinat pati, FTIR (fourier transform infrared) dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui ikatan-ikatan yang ada dalam pati keping biji mangga, menunjukan hasil yang optimal tentang pati biji mangga sehingga dapat digunakan dengan baik sebagai bahan baku pembuatan bedak dingin. Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di perguruan tinggi adalah untuk menciptakan inovasi teknologi untuk mendorong pembangunan ekonomi, memberi solusi berdasarkan kajian akademik atas kebutuhan, tantangan dan persoalan yang dihadapi masyarakat. Dalam PKM ini,akan diberikan arahan kepada masyarakat bagaimana metode untuk memanfaatkan limbah biji buah mangga sebagai bahan baku  dalam pembuatan bedak dingin/masker. Kata kunci : Pati biji mangga,masker

Abstract

Background: Peranan imunostimulan yang merupakan produk nutrisi/ obat (bahan alam/ sintetik) yang dapat meningkatkan sistem imunitas tubuh menjadi anjuran oleh pihak tenaga kesehatan dan pemerintah kepada masyarakat untuk dikonsumsi secara rutin. Perlu dilakukan pemberian informasi/ wawasan kesehatan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman imunostimulan, pemanfaatan herbal dan keterampilan pembuatan minuman tradisional herbal sebagai imunostimulan. Metode: Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Gedung Serba Guna (GSG) RW. 04 Komplek Cimindi Raya, Kel. Cimahi Utara, Kota Cimahi, Jawa Barat dengan jumlah peserta mitra Posbindu 30 orang. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan berupa penyuluhan, demonstrasi dan diskusi dengan para mitra. Perubahan pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra Posbindu dievaluasi melalui hasil kuesioner pre-test dan post-test selama penyuluhan dilaksanakan. Hasil: Mitra Posbindu sudah meningkat pemahamannya mengenai materi kesehatan imunostimulan dan cara pembuatan minuman tradisional herbal sebagai imunostimulan dengan perolehan peningkatan skor rata-rata pengetahuan melebihi batas skor minimal yaitu 76,43 % dan peningkatan skor keterampilan yaitu 95,71% (batas skor minimal yaitu 60%). Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ini menjadi upaya meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh, jumlah kesembuhan pasien yang terpapar virus Covid-19/ infektor patogen lain dan mencegah kematian yang diakibatkan menurunnya sistem imunitas pada mitra Posbindu khususnya dan masyarakat secara umum.

Abstract

The level of knowledge and awareness of the Indonesian people towards preventive efforts of various diseases related to the oral cavity and teeth has not been optimal. The importance of the role of self-effort in optimizing oral cavity hygiene and inhibiting the growth of various types of harmful bacteria that can lead to plaque formation, dental caries, causes of gingivitis, and periodontitis, such as: bacterial species Streptococcus mutans and Porphyromonas gingivalis. The combination of green tea, cloves, cinnamon bark, and mint leaves containing secondary metabolites from the sterols, tannins, phenols, saponins, and flavonoids groups has traditionally been used as antibacterial, anti-plaque and anti-aviation. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve understanding of health and prevention of infections in the oral cavity and teeth, as well as assistance in training skills in making herbal combination mouthwash with simple formulations for Posbindu partners. This activity was attended by lecturers and students of the D-3 Pharmacy Study Program, Department of Pharmacy, Poltekkes Kemenkes Bandung. Changes in health knowledge and skills of Posbindu partners were evaluated by giving pre-test and post-test questions. In the results of the evaluation of health understanding and skills, there was an increase in the total score of Posbindu partners in the 1st session of 20.41% from 67.35% to 87.76% (14 people were achieved, initially only 7 people exceeded the minimum score limit of 60.00%; N=14). Meanwhile, in the second session of Posbindu partners, the score increased by 28.57% from 63.64% (pre-test) to 92.21% (post-test) with the number of people who exceeded the minimum score limit of 11 people (post-test) from the pre-test results. the previous test was only 5 people (N=11). Thus, the better the health knowledge, attitudes, and skills of Posbindu partners in processing various herbal ingredients into herbal mouthwash products, it will create an increase in the degree of oral and dental health for the community. Keywords:  Cloves, green tea leaves, mint leaves, cinnamon bark, herbal mouthwash.

Abstract

Amphetamines and ephedrine are stimulant class doping drugs which have the effect of reducing fatigue and drowsiness, increasing alertness, physical strength, mental sense of competition and competitive attitude. Analysis of doping drugs in urine that has been recommended by the International Olympic Committee, including Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry. Derivatization is carried out to change the polarity of the analyte, making it easier to become a gas and stable to heating. This study was conducted for qualitative analysis of amphetamine and ephedrine, using an HP5MS column containing non-polar phenyl methyl siloxane, temperature 100-250oC with a temperature increase of 10oC/minute. Then it was extracted with a mixture of diethyl ether-ethylacetate (1:1) in an alkaline medium pH 8, the organic layer was evaporated then derivatized with trifluoro-acetic acid-anhydride and ephedrine with acetic-anhydride-pyridine (3:2). The final results showed that the retention times of amphetamine and ephedrine were 10.47 and 4.9 minutes. While the derivatives are 13.34 and 5.50 minutes. Identification using mass spectrometry for each compound showed that the mass spectra matched the Ref. and the amphetamine and ephedrine structural similarity index was 96% and the detection limit for each compound was 2 ug/ml.

Abstract

Tape ketan hitam merupakan bahan pangan berkhasiat yang mengandung senyawa antosianin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kadar total antosianin dan aktivitas antioksidan tape ketan hitam dari ekstrak air, metanol dan etanol 70%. Kandungan total antosianin ditentukan menggunakan metode pH differensial pada pH 1,0 dan pH 4,5 dengan hasil rata-rata kadar antosianin total dari ekstrak tape ketan hitam dengan pelarut aquadest sebesar 3,6598 mg/100g, pelarut metanol p.a sebesar 4,1191 mg/100g, dan pelarut etanol 70% sebesar 8,4190 mg/100g. Uji aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan menggunakan metode DPPH dan standar yang digunakannya adalah kuersetin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai IC50 ekstrak air, metanol p.a, dan etanol 70% secara berturut-turut adalah 119,6697 ppm; 94,6237 ppm; dan 88,4847 ppm. Hasil ini menunjukkan ekstrak tape ketan hitam dengan pelarut etanol 70% menunjukkan kadar total antosianin dan aktivitas antioksidan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pelarut metanol p.a dan air.

Abstract

Peel-off type facial skin mask preparations from herbal/synthetic ingredients can have the advantages of being easily removed, such as elastic membranes, improving hydration of the skin, treating wrinkles, aging, and acne, shrinking pores, moisturizing the skin, and relaxing facial muscles. Posbindu partner cadres in the working area of Puskesmas Pasirkaliki, Cimahi City, feel that there is still a lack of understanding and skill level in making simple cosmetic preparations from herbal ingredients, especially peel-off type facial skin mask preparations. Thus, we, as an extension team from the Community Partnership Program (PKM) grant scheme, strive to provide booklets, counseling on various facial skin health materials, and training assistance in making peel-off type facial skin masks with simple formulations of a combination of Marchantia paleacea liver moss herbaceous plants and green tea leaves to posbindu partner cadres in the Pasirkaliki Puskesmas Working Area,  North Cimahi Village, Cimahi City. The mixed results of this community service activity indicate that there are benefits, such as a significant increase in the level of health understanding in the results of pre-test and post-test evaluations of various health education that have been provided, including the importance of utilizing peel-off type facial skin mask preparations from traditional herbal ingredients and Posbindu partner cadres as agents of change are expected to convey health information and skills that obtained so that it can be conveyed to the immediate family and the rest of the community in general

Abstract

Hypercholesterolemia has become a health problem in both developed and developing countries. The highest prevalence of hypercholesterolemia is in Europe, followed by America, and the lowest is in Southeast Asia. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) (2015), hypercholesterolemia has caused a third of the number of ischemic heart disease. Meanwhile, deaths reached 2.6 million people (4.5% of total deaths) and 29.7 million people experienced the inability to live a normal life. The results showed that lime (Citrus Aurantifolia) was beneficial for lowering total blood cholesterol levels at a dose of 1.5 ml/KgBB. This is because lime juice is rich in Vitamin C which is a natural anti-oxidant, which works by reducing oxidative stress, inhibiting carbohydrate digestion and inhibiting fat transport along the walls of the small intestine, thereby lowering cholesterol in the blood. So the PKM Pharmacy team did community service with the title Community Empowerment in the Use of Lime Fruit as Antihypercholesterolemia in Coblong Village, Cipaganti District, Bandung City. From the results of this community service, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge, attitudes and skills as well as an increase in the health of community partners with outreach activities from the PKM proposer team at the Bandung Health Polytechnic Department of Pharmacy regarding the use of lime fruit to overcome hypercholesterolemia problems, checking the community's total blood cholesterol levels before and after PKM program, the practice of making traditional drinks from lime fruit plants for health benefits.
