Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memperkenalkan bahasa Arab melalui permainan puzzle pada anak-anak prasekolah di kelurahan Patemon Kecamatan Gunungpati Semarang, dan untuk mengetahui proses pengenalan bahasa Arab melalui permainan puzzle pada anak-anak prasekolah di kelurahan Patemon Kecamatan Gunungpati Semarang. Alternatif pemecahan masalah yang diterapkan adalah mengadakan pengajaran untuk memperkenalkan bahasa Arab pada anak-anak usia prasekolah yang ada di lingkngan kelurahan Patemon kecamatan Gunungpati Semarang. Metode yang digunakan adalah menyusun, merangkai dan bermain dengan puzzle bahasa Arab. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah; (1) Melalui media puzzle yang diajarkan dengan metode bermain yaitu bermain secara individu, bemain secara kelompok, dan diselingi dengan menyanyi bersama-sama sesuai dengan tema yang dipelajari, maka anak-anak usia prasekolah dapat dengan mudah mengenal kosata-kosakata bahasa Arab. (2) Anak-anak usia prasekolah memiliki minat yang tinggi dalam mengenal bahasa Arab. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusias anak-anak ketika mengikuti kegiatan dengan permainan puzzle berbahasa Arab yang diajarkan.Kata kunci : bahasa Arab, permainan puzzle, anak pra sekolah

Abstract

Nusus Adabiyah (Analisis Teks Sastra) is one of the new subject in competence and conservation based curriculum in Arabian Education Department of FBS UNNES. Nusus Adabiyah (Analisis Teks Sastra) is given in 6th semester as a continuity of subject Pengantar Ilmu Sastra (1st Adab or Sejarah Sastra Arab (4th semester) and subject Tarikh semester). Nusus Adabiyah (Analisis Teks Sastra) needs to be improved through the development of lesson plan and suitable materials. The implementation of Cross Cultural Understanding (CCU) in the materials will help students in learning the literature text analysis as well as improving their awareness in culture and analysis ability. This article analyse the students’ need of Nusus Adabiyyah material, the students’ response toward Nusus Adabiyyah material and the utilization of CCU in Nusus Adabiyyah material. Research and Development Approach is used in this study while the subject of  this study is students of Arabian Eduaction which have studied Pengantar Ilmu Sastra and Tarikh Adab or Sejarah Sastra Arab in the previous semesters. Method of collecting the data in this study includes test and and non-test methods: questionaire, interview, and documentation. 27 students (54%) need materials which focus on the Arabian literature work and its analysis technique. The other materials beside those two are not yet needed because students still have difficulties in analysing the Arabian literature work. The learning of Nusus Adabiyah by inserting CCU makes the students become more motivated to learn, to think positively, and they are also encouraged to learn Arabian culture.

Abstract

Assay of chitinolytic bacterial isolate of Bacillus sp. Bk17 in peat and palm oil bunch compost as carrier media in inhibiting Sclerotium rolfsii and Fusarium oxysporum of chilli seedlings. Sclerotium rolfsii and Fusarium oxysporum have been known as causal agents of seedling-off of chilli. Biological control has been used as an alternative control to replace chemical control. This study was aimed to determine the viability and ability of chitinolityc bacteria Bacillus sp. BK17 in carrier media of peat and palm oil bunch compost and in growing media to control seedling-off caused by S. rolfsii dan F. oxysporum of chilli. Our previous study showed that Bacillus sp. BK17 could reduce disease severity and intensity. Bacterial viability was measured as colony number grown after 90 days of storage in minimum salt medium with colloidal chitin as sole C source. Reduction of disease infection was measured as seedling number infected by S. rolfsii dan F. oxysporum. Seedling performances were measured as seedling height, leaf number and dry-weight after 30-days of growth. The result showed that bacterial cell viability was still high in both peat and palm oil bunch compost both with and without colloidal chitin addition after 90 days of storage. It was also shown that during application bacterial cell could grow. Seedling performaces i.e. seedling height, leaf number and dry-weight showed to be normal or even increase compared to those of pathogenic fungal inoculation only and (-) control.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to get the description of gingival condition and oral hygiene in patients with the fixed orthodontic appliance at Orthodontics Specialist Clinic of Oral and Dental Hospital Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Padjadjaran (RSGM FKG UNPAD) Bandung. This descriptive study with a survey method included 30 patients with fixed orthodontic appliances consist of 8 male and 22 females. The sample collected by purposive sampling. The data was collected based on filling questioner forms and clinical examination with an assessed degree of gingival enlargement by Carranza assessed Gingival Index by Loe and Silness, measured pocket depth, and assessed Plaque Index by Silness and Loe. The result showed that 90% of samples had gingival enlargement with variants of gingival enlargement degree from grade 1, 2, 3 and mostly present in the posterior area. Prevalence of gingivitis was 100% divided into 76.67% suffering mild gingivitis and 23.33% suffering moderate gingivitis. In an examination of pocket depth, 6.67% had 1.1-2 mm of pocket depth; 70% had 2.1-3 mm of pocket depth, and 23.33% had 3.1-4 mm. In an examination of oral hygiene, 43.33% had good oral hygiene; 46.67% had moderate oral hygiene, and 10% had poor oral hygiene. The conclusion of this research was the orthodontics wearer suffering from gingival enlargement and mild gingivitis.

Abstract

Salak seed is a waste of salak fruit that contains a high carbohydrate, therefore it can be used as an alternative raw material for the production of bioethanol. The study aims to determine the optimum time of fermentation to produce the highest content of bioethanol and to determine the weight ratio of the yeast and the substrate that produce the highest content of bioethanol. Variations of yeast mass used was 2, 4, and 6 grams and fermentation time were 24, 48, 72, 96, 120, and 144 hours. The analysis showed that the highest content of bioethanol produced was 6 grams of the yeast mass, the fermentation time was 48 hours and the weight ratio of yeast to the substrate was 6: 10 that obtained 11.2%.

Abstract

Pabrik gula merupakan  pelaku agribisnis pengolah tanaman tebu dan salah satu sektor yang berperanan penting dalam industri pergulaan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui trend luas lahan tebu, produksi dan produktivitas gula di PG. Wringin Anom Kabupaten Situbondo, (2) mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi gula di PG. Wringin Anom Kabupaten Situbondo dan (3) mengukur tingkat efisiensi biaya di PG. Wringin Anom Kabupaten Situbondo. Data dianalisis dengan analisis trend, analisis Cobb-Douglas (uji-t, uji-F, uji Adjusted R2) dan analisis RC-Ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) trend luas lahan tebu, produksi dan produktivitas gula di PG. Wringin Anom Kabupaten Situbondo dari tahun 2001-2015 memiliki kecenderunagn  meningkat; (2) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi gula secara signifikan adalah bobot tebu, rendemen dan tenaga kerja. (3) Penggunaan biaya di PG. Wringin Anom Kabupaten Situbondo menunjukkan tingkat efisien antara tahun 2010-2015 kecuali pada tahun 2010 dan 2013 mengalami inefisiensi biaya.

Abstract

This present study aims at finding out the use of genre knowledge in improving the students’ ability in writing the paragraph. This study was held in SMA Negeri 1 Bulukumba. The method applied was the pre-experimental design that consists of pretest, treatment, and posttest. The result of this study shows the improvement of the students’ ability in writing good paragraphs in terms of organization and vocabulary aspects. The study indicates that there was a significant improvement of the students’ ability to write good paragraphs viewed from two aspects, organization and vocabulary. Conclusion based on the result analysis shows that genre knowledge can improve students’ writing ability.

Abstract

Now days non profit organizations in Indonesia still tend to emphasize the priority of program quality and not too much attention to the importance of financial management systems. Though a good financial management system is believed to be one of the main indicators of accountability and tranparency of an institution. Reporting and financial management of the corresponding set in the Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS) 45 of the financial reporting of nonprofit organizations. The purpose of this study was to determine whether application of the financial reporting on Educational Foundation Boarding School Al-Khairiyah with what has been stated in SFAS 45. Descriptive research methods with qualityve analysis techniques outlines, describe and recontruct a data. The result showed that the financial statement in accordance with the Educational Foundation Boarding School Al-Khairiyah yet financial statement based nonprofit financial statement formats that exist in SFAS 45. The financial statements of which there are some cash flow statements regarding expenditures and income to their understanding. Educational Foundation Boarding School Al-Khairiyah does not present a statement of financial position, statement of  activities, statementof cash flows, and notes to the financial statements. The preparation of financial statement sshould be guided by Educational Foundation Boarding School Al-Khairiyah and follow the conditions set by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) contained in SFAS 45 that the information presented in the financial statement be clear, relevant and has a high appeal
