Abstract

Society in the modern world is known as a group of individuals built on a social contract. In order to create a nation-state. Nevertheless, long before Europe imposed a social contract for the construction of a nation-state, Islam has long ruled its people in one state. The Madinah Charter has become the source of the law in the regulation of the early Islamic society. Political divisions in Islam do not erode the concept of social contract, but they are becoming stronger and more pervasive in existing political groups.

Abstract

In the study of language, which required a learner not just aptitude (language intelligence) but the main thing is more attitude are accompanied by a strong motivation and purpose that would make a learner managed to learn the language. The routine of the first language often provide positive influence against the routine that is studied in a second language. However this happens if there are routines from both the language experienced a resemblance. For the first pattern language, often give bad influence, due to the difference in the pattern of the first language with the pattern of a second language. In addition, in communicating, sometimes language learners experience difficulties when will convey something he has yet to figure out the language in the second language. Then use simple codes will help learners understand what is to be delivered.

Abstract

Character building is a very important part of national education goals. As stated in the law no. 20 of 2003 on the national education system which states that the purpose of national education is to develop the potential of learners to become human beings who believe and piety to God Almighty, noble character, healthy knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent and become citizens of democratic and to be responsible. And one of the researchers' concerns in this context is to try to discuss the implementation of character education in educational institutions, especially in the madrasah. The research methodology used a qualitative approach. Data collection using interview methods and snowball sampling, observation, and documentation techniques. Sources of data in this study were Madrasah Principals, teachers and students in both research objects. Data analysis techniques are data reduction that has been obtained then presented / in the form of display data, and the conclusion or verification. The thinking model used is inductive. The location of the research is in MTsN. Ponorogo and MTs Ma'arif 1 Ponorogo. From the results of the study found that (1) Implementation of character education in MTsN Ponorogo and MTs Ma'arif 1 Ponorogo has been formulated in vision and mission of Madrasah. (2) The efforts of MTsN Ponorogo and MTs. Ma'arif 1 Ponorogo in developing character education is designing activities that terms with the values ​​of character and build madrasah culture. (3) Characteristic implementation of character education in MTsN Ponorogo is to maximize the role of Counseling Guidance (BK) in instilling character in students. While in MTs Ma'arif 1 Ponorogo Implementation of character education is deliberately designed through the development of madrasah culture with the management of all components in Madrasah.

Abstract

INSURI Ponorogo as a private Islamic higher institution under the auspices of the Nahdlatul Ulama Foundation (YAPERTINUKA) Ponorogo has problems related to the performance of lecturers. The performance of lecturers is closely related to financial factors and mengerial. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. In this context, the informants in question are rector, dean and captain of INSURI Ponorogo, where they are also permanent lecturers. To get in-depth data is done by in-depth interview process. In-depth interviews were conducted by asking questions openly, allowing respondents to provide answers broadly. This data is then processed and analyzed by performance theory.The conclusions obtained from this study first, Factors that affect the performance of permanent lecturers INSURI in accordance with the opinion Mangkunegara in his book Human Resource Management Company is the ability factor and motivation factors. Second; Constraints faced in improving the performance of permanent lecturers INSURI is a constraint procedure that must be resolved. Third; Efforts to improve the performance of INSURI's permanent lecturers are participatory and transformative initiatives ranging from training, coaching and mentoring.

Abstract

WHO’s data shows that suicide rates increase every year. In 2015, more than 800,000 people died caused by suicide. The average of suicide case in Indonesia is about 300.000 people each year. Depression, stress and inability to face life's challenges are considered as the trigger for more suicidal behaviour. By those phenomena, many efforts are needed to solve them. Paul G. Stolz (called as Stolz) states that one of important thing for human is Adversity Quotient (AQ) or intelligence to face problems. Based on Stolz, the one who has a high Adversity Quotient will not easy to give up when s/he faced difficulties. s/he will keep tough, tries to face many obstacles well.This paper will explore the concept of Adversity Quotient values in Qur’an since it is the source of life, rich of values of how to face and live the life. Thus thematic methodis chosen to analyse this paper. The result of this study shows that the intelligence to face the problems taught in Qur’an is like the concept of patient in the Qur’an. There is adimension of human spirituality, in which to face loads of problems, human is reminded to take in or receive (to be ridla, to be sincere, and to do maximum effort and to have spiritual element: to submit everything to Allah). Allah is with those who are patient. The result of this study is expected to construct human perspective and mentality in facing life problems, so as to have a high Adversity Quotient, thus human does not easily despair of his problems, keeps tough and does not easy to commit suicide.

Abstract

This article would like to see how far the work of Kiai Ahmmad Yasin Asmuni, Tafsir Ma Asabak. Kiai Yasin is one of productive man about the Arabic work and its meaning. In this case, he was a poiner of the meaningful yellow book. The researcher is going to focus about how Kiai Yasin arranged Tafsir Ma> As}a>bak. What this work was pure of his thought or only took from other works. How far his understanding about ulumul qur’an in his work. What he did something contextually in his work. Those questions what are going to explain in this article. Finally, researcher found pro and contra on the publication of Kiai Yasin’s works, there is a little bit different understanding than before and theological substance was strong. On making this researcher is going to use hermeneutic analysis to explore it.

Abstract

Cultural optics will always appear in every debate about feminism, as well as certain interpretive tendencies (read: pre-text) also involved (enveloped) and even come into play in them. Therefore, the emergence of different views even somewhat "biased" is considered normal. People in discussing feminism will not be able to position themselves really objectively without pretension, but can only maintain a distance from prejudices or “biases” that can unwittingly emerge. In Muslim feminist thought, they are still trapped in a crisis of interpretation and counter interpretation. This crisis arises because the methods or strategies used by opponents and supporters of gender equality in building and legitimizing each of their views are basically the same, namely by explaining certain parts of the text of the Qur’an or hadith that are appropriate and support their interests and views. The parts of the text are then considered as asl the most correct and original principles, which in turn tend to be interpreted unilaterally in accordance with their ideological interests and positions and at the same time eliminate unwanted meanings because they are contrary to their ideological interests. This eclectic reading model is caused by the inability to challenge the existing paradigm of reading the text, which does not consider the historical context, dialogical and communicative aspects of the text with its context, and its descriptive dimensions. In this article intending to criticize the interpretation of Fatima Mernissi, Mernissi seems to still have a subjective bias in assessing some of the problems of feminist interpretation regarding equality of men and women, and not occupying the core of the problem in the actual portion. As a result, this argument shows that Mernissi is still narrow in using her feminist approach, because the core feminist approach is actually sensitive to injustice and avoiding “bias” that can occur not only in gender issues, but can also occur in other areas related to sara (read: skin color, tribe, caste and others).

Abstract

This article tries to explain how the phenomenon of combustion copy of the Qur’an were damaged in the tradition of Muslim societies occur. Muslim society in everyday life, when see copy of the Koran that have been damaged or torn Koran, one of them is to burn reception. Combustion also applies to writings containing God asthma or other materials which are writings of the Koran, such as magazines, pamphlets, tabloids, and so forth. This phenomenon is seen through the perspective of reception theory, which says that each side pratek Muslims emerged from the theological side, which in this case is the belief that the Qur’an is the word of God. The phenomenon discovered in the transmission and transformation in peresepsiannya process. The reception transmission copy of the Koran burning damaged were of literature-literature jurisprudence and adab al-Qur'an, which further transmission to the copy of the Koran burning in the reign of Ustman ibn ‘Affan. The transformation of this peresepsian process is related to the background and purpose of combustion, as well as the object or material is burned.

Abstract

Qur’anic Interpretation has an important place in the development of Muslim intellectual traditions and Islamic civilization in general. As a major source of Islamic teachings, Muslims have for centuries ago tried to understand the meaning of the Qur'an to fit the needs of the times, one of which is by the way of contextualization. In this case the author tries to explain the style of contextual interpretation initiated by Abdullah Saeed. In principle, Saeed explained that the tradition of interpreting the Qur'an contextually had existed since the beginning of the 1st century H and 2nd H, which was initiated by the friend of Umar Ibn al-Khattab (w.23 / 644). Because the socio-historical setting when the text of the Qur'an goes down is very possible to be interpreted contextually, so that the steps offered by Abdullah Saeed in addition to having a theoretical foundation in his interpretive style eat the steps offered by him. First, preliminary considerations (the Qur'anic world, the World of readers including life experiences and linguistic or linguistic aspects. Second, beginning the task of interpretation. Third, Identifying the meaning of the Text before interpretation includes lingistics, literature, types of texts, relationships with parallel text. Fourth, linking the interpretation of the text with the current context (understanding the context of the link, interpreting it through the next generation in succession, modern context analysis, comparison of contexts one and two, adopting relevant interpretations and checking the feasibility of interpretation.

Abstract

This essay is going to depict how Imam Nawawi’s construction upon courtesy in deal with something containing Qur’an verses within al-Tibya>n. Imam Nawawi had brought out particular issue in which foregoing works such al-Muhazz^ab and Niha>yat al-Mat}lab did not issue. For instance, regarding the case in 11 century Imam Shirazi did not point out anything not to touch when one is in h}adas^ (ritual impurity) except fikih, whereas a century after Imam Juwaini issued a book of h}awa>sy and ust}u>rah, and subsequently in 13 Imam Nawawi come with new additional outlook of book which muh}dis^ (one who has h}adas^) could not touch: tafsi>r and h}adis^. By borrowing Klaus Krippendor’s content analysis and a pattern of transmission-transformation, the essay interests to investigate why a shift-mentioned is able to come up, how can it be happened, and in what extent it had been transmitted. The article therefore argues that the shift within modesty of treating Qur’an verses is triggered by a couple things: context differences surround each Imam and their peculiarly effective history—to use Gadamer’s phrase. Afterward, concerning form, though an appropriation is intensively occurring, a static point can be constantly found which is always approached to be maintained.
