Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the motives, actions and meanings of the use of Social Media Facebook among Generation X in the City of Bandung. The method used in this study uses a qualitative de-constructive approach with phenomenological studies. The focus of more research is to understand the phenomena that occur among the use of Facebook social media, especially in Generation X in the City of Bandung. While the subject of the study was focused on examining the experiences of Facebook users themselves based on noumena. The techniques used in determining informants or subjects were chosen purfosively based on the activities of those who were considered able to explore experiences consciously. Data collection techniques were obtained from core informants, experts, academics and professionals or other data sources as participants. Besides library research, observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data obtained was compiled by researchers in units and then categorized and carried out a comparison through the stages of triangulation with the degree of trust in information by an expert observer and users in the field of social media. The results of the study show that social media users Facebook Generation X have the motive of using Facebook social media as a trend to follow and media to communicate. The behavior of other Generation X behavior is only to look for information, status updates and capture certain moments. Generation X means that the use of Facebook social media as a medium of entertainment, gathering and reunion with old friends.

Abstract

Housing and settlements have a very fundamental role in the life of the Indonesian people considering the problem that often occurs is the level of housing needs that is not balanced with the level of regional capacity in providing habitable housing. As a result, a residential area will receive a load that exceeds the carrying capacity of its environment and tends to become slum. The problem of settlements is a serious problem because it is feared that it will cause fatal pockets of poverty and then cause various social problems beyond the government's ability to handle and monitor them. The Tangerang Regency government tries to clean up uninhabitable houses through the GEBRAK PAKUMIS Program. The main focus of this program is to improve the water and sanitation sector with a focal point on improving the quality of houses because a poor sanitation system is a major factor in the formation of slum areas. This study aims to analyze and find theoretical answers to the principles of policy networks and obtain new concepts about policy networks. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. One of the problems that is the basis for the failure of this program is the long procedure. This is something that is feared by residents, because it is considered difficult to be realized. Based on the problems faced by residents as recipients of house renovation assistance, environmental development and community empowerment, the correct communication strategy is a solution to communicate the benefits of the program to the beneficiary residents. Therefore, the communication strategy solution offered in this study is as a stimulant for local government to provide populist socialization to residents in order to bring citizens to ease in taking procedures in this program.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine Persuasive Communication conducted by the Bogor City of The Labor and Transmigration Department in implementing the unemployment reduction program through Social Media (Instagram) on Milennial generation. The theory used is the theory of attitude change (Attitude Change Theory) from Carl Hovland. This theory builds a rationale (Ground Work) regarding the relationship between communication stimuli, audience self tendencies and changes in opinion from Instagram users. This research uses qualitative research methods with visual ethnographic studies through direct (reality) and detailed observation through online. In determining the informants or research subjects selected from participants based on the activity of Instagram users, especially job seekers represented by seven people and three employees of Bogor City of The Labor and Transmigration Department. Data collection techniques were obtained through in-depth interviews online, then the data obtained were compiled and coded in the source triangulation stage as validity. The results of research at the Bogor City of The Labor and Transmigration Department with the unemployment reduction program through Social Media Instragram produced a good response from users, especially Milennial job seekers with many becoming Followers. Persuasive communication conducted by the Bogor City of The Labor and Transmigration Department by inviting and changing the opinions of its Followers resulted in the number of job seekers who have gotten work, thereby reducing the number of unemployment, meaning reduction in unemployment in the City of Bogor including the Bogor City of The Labor and Transmigration Department program which is considered successful.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the Communication Style of Women's Leadership conducted by dr. Hj. Cellica Nurrchadiana as the first female regent in Karawang district through the style of delivering messages either publicly or privately to members or the community which is considered quite successful, as evidenced by her re-election by a landslide in winning the 2020 pilkada as regent in the second period. The researcher found that the communication style of women's leadership carried out by Cellica nurrchadiana as the regent of Karawang was that the communication style of the Regent of Cellica was influenced by the situation at hand. The Regent of Cellica will use different communication styles when in Public, Private, Storytelling, Listening, Asking Questions, and Conflict situations that are conveyed to fellow officials, members or the public which are considered appropriate in accordance with the proportion of messages and interesting delivery methods so that they can well received by the communicant.

Abstract

AbstrakKomunikasi interpersonal adalah sebuah bentuk khusus dari komunikasi manusia yang terjadi bila kita berinteraksi secara simultan dengan orang lain dan saling mempengaruhi secara mutual satu sama lain. Interaksi yang simultan berarti bahwa para pelaku komunikasi mempunyai tindakan yang sama terhadap suatu informasi pada waktu yang sama pula. Komunikasi Interpersonal berhubungan dengan pola, dimana pola interaksi merupakan suatu cara, model, dan bentuk-bentuk interaksi yang saling memberikan pengaruh dan mempengaruhi dengan adanya timbal balik guna mencapi tujuan. Salah satu lingkungan yang banyak dihadapi manusia adalah lingkungan pendidikan. Salah satu proses pendidikan yang harus ditempuh oleh setiap individu adalah pendidikan formal yang berjenjang dari SD, SMP, SMA hingga Perguruan Tinggi. Selain pendidikan formal, terdapat juga pendidikan tradisional berbasis Agama dan Budaya yang disebut Pesantren. Dinamika pendidikan pesantren lebih mengedepankan pendidikan karakter (character education) atau pendidikan moral (moral education), sehingga mampu melahirkan lulusan yang memiliki idealisme, kemampuan intelektual dan perilaku mulia (akhlāq al-karīmah). Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Pola Komunikasi interpersonal kiai dan santri santriwati dalam pembelajaran dakwah di pesantren cimalaka kabupaten sumedang menunjukan bahwa santri dan santriwati dengan kiai memiliki 3 simbol penting yaitu mind, self, dan society.Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Interpersonal, Pesantren, pola.
