Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of direct and indirect motivation, work environment, well-being and participatory leadership on performance. Research conducted at the Airlangga University Library, data analysis techniques using path analysis. The number of respondents as many as 72 people. The results showed that there were four hypotheses are rejected, namely direct influence of work environment on performance, indirect influence of work environment on performance through direct influence on organizational commitment and leadership participatory on performance and influence indirectly the participatory leadership on performance through organizational commitment The findings in this research suggests that the influence of work environment and participatory leadership still hasn't been able to encourage the staff of the library to committed to the Organization, so that library staff are still not able to contribute optimal performance.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze the comparison of technology, network and security aspect between CDMA and GSM (Global System for Car communication). Using a comparative analysis research method between CDMA and GSM technologies that includes comparisons of network, technology, and security aspects. Using references from previous research on cellular telecommunications, the introduction of CDMA and GSM technologies to aspects of technology, networking and security. The results show that the technological aspect, CDMA used advanced spectrum technology that can provide superior sound quality and GSM uses a spectrum division technology that makes communication constant. From the network aspect, CDMA used direct-spreading spectrum (DS-CDMA) and GSM network is divided into three main systems: switching system (SS), base station system (BSS), and operating system and support (OSS). As well as security aspects, the GSM uses A3 and A8 algorithms for authentication and A5 algorithms were used in the process of sending information. But the security system using this algorithm, found weaknesses that allow data tapping or customer identity fraud. While CDMA offers aspects of network security by developing encryption algorithms. For encryption techniques used Rijndael algorithm is safe and very fast. A3 and A8 algorithms can recognize the customer's identity well, and the A5 algorithm can transmit the accuracy of information between MS and BTS.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the technical comparison on SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) software with Eprints and DSpace, so it will be proved technically whether SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) can meet the criteria and standards as institutional repository software or not? . The research methodology used is an experimental approach in which researchers conduct direct experiments of SLiMS, Eprints and DSpace software starting from the installation stage, data entry, IP public provision to perform comparative analysis of the technical features of the three software. The results show that the SLiMS software (Senayan Library Management System) can meet the criteria and standards as the institutional repository software, because SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) features the main required of an institutional repository software that functions as an asset management system digital collecting, preserving, preserving and publishing or disseminating scientific work of academic research of a college.
