Abstract

With current technological advances, it is certainly very easy for human work, an example of current technological advances is smartphones. This can be a development of a smartphone technology, namely the Android-Based New Student Admission Application with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method at Darut Ta'lim Islamic Boarding School in Kundi Village. This application is an application that aims to make it easier for prospective new students to be able to register online and be able to optimize the data collection process for prospective new students at Darut Ta'lim Islamic Boarding School in Kundi Village. The method used in this research is the Prototype Method which has four stages, namely the data collection stage, the rapid planning stage, the Prototype Design Stage and the Prototype Testing Stage. The quick planning stage uses UML (Unified Modelling Language) diagrams such as use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagram and sequence diagrams. The results obtained from this research is an application design that can be developed into an application made using Android Studio with Kotlin programming language and using PHP with MySQL database.

Abstract

Scheduling is a very important issue in an educational institution. The many obstacles sometimes make scheduling difficult to create. One method for solving such problems is to use genetic algorithms. Based on this background, the formulation of the problem of this study is "how to implement genetic algorithms for subject scheduling applications at SMK Bakti Pangkalpinang". The purpose of this study is to implement genetic algorithms for subject scheduling, formulate subject scheduling problems so that they can be solved with genetic algorithms and help schedule preparation to be more efficient. Genetic algorithms are heuristic search algorithms based on biological evolutionary mechanisms. In this study the author uses a prototype model, which includes activities such as gathering needs, designing and evaluating. The result of this study is an application that can be used to compile a lesson schedule with the desired results. Testing is done with blackbox testing and the test results show the application can function properly.

Abstract

Calon lulusan saat ini tidak banyak memiliki kompetensi tentang kode etik dan etika profesi, sehingga sangat sulit sebagai calon lulusan untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan. Selain itu kompetensi dasar seperti kode etik dan etika profesi sangat dibutuhkan bagi calon lulusan agar mereka bisa menerapkan ilmu tersebut ditempat kerja. Tujuan kegiatan ini memberikan bekal ilmu bagi calon lulusan mahasiswa ISB Atma luhur guna meningkatkan mutu, profesionalisme, dan soft skills agar dapat diterapkan ditempat mereka bekerja. Metode pelaksanaan peltihan ini menggunakan metode pelatihan ceramah, metode pelatihan daring dan metode tanya jawab. Kegiatan tersebut dapat membuka fikiran calon lulusan betapa pentingnya penerapan kode etik dan etika profesi yang dibutuhkan untuk mendapatkan nilai tambah ditempat kerja.

Abstract

Bawaslu of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province as the election supervisory body in the province of Bangka Belitung also considers it important to provide information and manage the website properly. For this reason, Bawaslu cooperates with universities and the government to provide technical guidance and training for news and website managers to improve the ability of managers. This technical assitence involves resource persons who are experts in their fields from various agencies. STMIK Atma Luhur as a university accommodates training activities by involving the community service team. The PKM team consists of 3 lecturers and 2 students. The activity took place on December 7, 2019 which took place at the Grand Vella Hotel Bangka. The training participants came from 7 districts/cities with every cities has to send 3 participants. This activities started from morning to evening. The method in this PKM activity is training and technical guidance with the lecture method from the speakers. The activities in addition to the material provided, practical activities were also held to demonstrate how to properly manage the website and news coverage techniques to provide good and correct information. The results of the evaluation of this activities carried out, it was found that the participants gained knowledge and knowledge that could improve their ability to manage the Bawaslu news and website

Abstract

Employee attendance in a company is a vital aspect of Human Resources Management (HRM) system that helps ensure employee discipline and it also can be used to facilitate payroll management. This attendance allows the company to take necessary actions to improve workplace discipline. This research aims to develop a web-based employee attendance information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model and the system development method using an Object-Oriented methodology with the help of Unified Modelling Language (UML) tools. Thus, this attendance information system can assist the company or organization take easy the HR department's task of monitoring employee attendance in real-time, enhancing the efficiency of attendance-related administrative processes, and providing accurate and detailed reports on employee attendance patterns within an organization or company.
