<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Sport center Universitas Halu Oleo dilatar belakangi oleh antusias mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan olahraga yang ada di Universitas Halu Oleo yang menjadi ekstrakulikuler mahasiswa dan menjadi prasarana akademik jurusan keguruan pendidikan olahraga Jasmani. Hal ini terbukti dari kegiatan olahraga nasional mahasiswa yang sering diadakan universitas seluruh Indonesia setiap tahun. Masalah yang terjadi di Universitas Halu Oleo yaitu peningkatan minat mahasiswa terhadap olahraga ini sendiri tidak diimbangi dengan peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas fasilitas olahraga di Universitas Halu Oleo. Pengembangan sport center di Universitas Halu Oleo ini berlandaskan dari visi misi Universitas Halu Oleo yaitu “Mengembangkan potensi mahasiswa di bidang kerohanian dan karakter, penalaran, olahraga, seni, budaya, dan kewirausahaan, untuk membangun atmosfir akademik Universitas Halu Oleo yang harmonis;†dan menjadi kampus hijau pada lingkungannya sehingga pendekatan arsitektur ekologi sejalan dengan universitas yang mengedepankankan dan memberi dampak positif di lingkungan sekitar. Dengan harapan pengembangan sport center Universitas Halu Oleo dapat mengembangkan olahraga Universitas Halu Oleo dan berdampak baik bagi lingkungan sekitar. Kata Kunci: Sport center, Universitas Halu Oleo, Arsitektur ekologi ABSTRACTHalu Oleo University's sports center planning is motivated by students' enthusiasm for sports activities at Halu Oleo University which are extracurricular students and become academic infrastructure in the physical sports education vocational department. This is evident from the national sports activities of students which are often held by universities throughout Indonesia every year. The problems that occur at Halu Oleo University which are related to the increase in student interest in the sport itself are not matched by an increase in the quality and quantity of sports facilities at Halu Oleo University. The development of the sports center planning at Halu Oleo University is based on the vision and mission of Halu Oleo University, namely "Developing students' potential in the fields of spirituality and character, reasoning, sports, arts, culture, and entrepreneurship, to build a harmonious academic atmosphere of Halu Oleo University;" and become a green campus in the environment so that the ecological architecture approach is in line with universities that prioritize and have a positive impact on the surrounding environment.
