Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to produce student worksheet with comprehensive intelligence based on PBL model’s on learning physics class X in SHS was valid. This research type using Research & Development (R & D). The subject of this research was teaching materials in the form of student worksheet 1, student worksheet 2 and student worksheet 3 validated by validator consisting of 3 lecturers of Physics Education FKIP Universitas Riau and 2 physics teachers. Data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive analysis conducted by calculating from the average value of assessment on validation assessment instrument by validator. The results obtained by student worksheet valid after 2 validation because there are still indicators that are still categorized low. After validation-2 obtained a valid student worksheet with average validity of each LKPD is 3.27 with Very High category for student worksheet 1, 3,26 with Very High category for student worksheet 2 and 3.25 with Very High category for student worksheet 3. This indicates that student worksheet is valid and feasible to be used as one of the teaching materials that can improve students' competence in class X SHS.Keyword: Student Worksheet, Comprehensive Intelligence, PBL Model’s

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aimed to describe the effectiveness and improvement of the students formal reasoning by applying guide inquiri learning model at MTsN Naumbai Kampar. Type of this research is a quasi-experimental, with Intact Group Comparisson design. The subject is students class VIII A as experimental class and class VIII B as control class. The data in this research is a score posttest of formal reasoning learning outcome and analysis with descriptive and inferensial analysis. The analysis of data showed absortion of student in the experiment class is higher than the control class on each indicator of formal reasoning. The absorption and learning effectiveness in class experiment is 77,50 with good and effective categori. Result of inferensial analysis using two independent sample t-test, the significant is 0,000, because p < 0.05, then the hypothesis rejected, so there are significant differences between the formal reasoning of students in the experimental class by applying guided inquiry learning model with the control class that implements conventional learning at class VIII MTsN Naumbai Kampar with a level of trust 95 % .With thus be concluded that the application of guided inquiry learning model effectively and can increasing the formal reasoning of students at class VIII MTsNNaumbai Kampar.Key words: Guided Inquiry, Formal Reasoning, Efectiveness

Abstract

Abstract:Thisresearchaimsto improve students' ability to solve problems in material physics kinematics with vector analysis in class XI IPA1 SMA N 2 TelukKuantan.The subjects were students of class XI IPA1 of 20 people consisting of 7 male students and 13 female students. Data collection instrument in this study is testing the ability of problem solving, observation of teacher performance, and questionnaire feasibility study model.Analysis of the data in this study is a descriptive analysis to see an increase in students' ability to solve physics problems with the indicator to understand the problem, solving plan, implement solutions, and conclude the breakdown.From the analysis of the data showed: the average percentage score on the problem solving ability of pre cycle of 25% with a very low skill level category, in the first cycle the average percentage score of 50.50% problem solving skills with the ability of very low-level category, and the second cycle the average score of 75.50% problem solving ability with moderate skill level category. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of problem-based learning learning model can improve the ability to solve problems in a class XI student of physics IPA1 MAN 2 TelukKuantan. Abstract

Abstract : The research aimed to describe the level of students motivation in temperature and heatmaterial through the implementation of TANDUR learning strategy in class X IIS4 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. Problem derived based on the observation of the students in class X IIS4 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru, showed low motivation. Of learning it is shown in the proces of learning, where the students give less attention to the lesson, students are less enthusiastic in learning physics and students physics learning outcomes are still low are still low. To improv student motivation required appropiate learning strategy, one of the main strategies that can be used is TANDUR which is an acronim of grow, natural, name, demonstration, repeat, celebrate. Through TANDUR learning strategies expected to be fully able to make the students motivated to learn physics especially in the subject of temperature and heat, and provide direct experience to the students and try to give a real experience for them, so it’s not just memorize facts, but they themselves are finding the facts. This study used a form of pre-experimental design with one group pretets-posttest design. Instrument which is used in this study is the motivation questionnare consisting of aspects of attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the research, students motivation after the application of TANDUR learning strategy increased 2,88%. Thus the implementation of learning strategies in the class X IIS4 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru can increase students motivation to learn physics in the temperature and heat subject.
