Abstract

ABSTRACT  The purpose of this study was to analyze changes in income of rice farms in Palembang before and after the increase in rice prices. The method used in this study is the survey method, while the sampling method used is the Random Layered Not Balanced method (disproportionate stratified random sampling) with a sample of 60 farmers from two subdistricts and Gandus Kertapati sub-districts in Palembang. The results showed that farmers' income in Palembang's rice farming after the increase in rice prices increased compared to the previous increase in rice prices. The income of rice farming before and after the increase in rice prices is significantly different. ABSTRAK  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perubahan pendapatan usahatani padi di Palembang sebelum dan sesudah kenaikan harga beras. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei, sedangkan metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode Random Layered Not Balanced (disproportionate stratified random sampling) dengan sampel 60 petani dari dua kecamatan, yaitu Kecamatan Gandus dan Kertapati di Palembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan usahatani padi Palembang setelah kenaikan harga beras meningkat dibandingkan dengan kenaikan harga beras sebelumnya. Pendapatan usahatani padi sebelum dan sesudah kenaikan harga beras sangat berbeda

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research has conducted to determine the behavior of farmers in increasing income. To find out the amount of income for farming a red chili. This research has held in Kepahyang Village, Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, from April to June 2019. The research method used was Survey. The sampling method used is the Census. Data collection methods used in this study were direct observation and interviews with respondents using a list of questions that had been prepare previously. The farmer's behavior, a qualitative descriptive analysis method, is used. Meanwhile, to calculate the amount of red chili income, the data obtained from the field are processed by tabulation, and mathematical analysis has used. The result showed that the farmer’s knowledge of the red chili farming system was still low. There is a positive attitude towards the farming system in farming red chili. Farmer’s skills in implementing farming systems in farming are still little. The income of the sample farmers in Kepahyang Village in the business of red chilies is Rp 4.906.131,25 expand arable. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perilaku petani dalam meningkatkan pendapatan. Untuk mengetahui besar pendapatan pada usahatani cabai merah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kepahyang Kecamatan Lempuing Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir pada bulan April sampai dengan bulan Juni 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Survey. Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan adalah adalah Sensus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara langsung kepada responden dengan menggunakan daftar pertanyaan yang telah dipersiapkan sebelumnya. Untuk menjawab rumusan masalah pertama yaitu perilaku petani digunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah yang kedua, yaitu menghitung besar pendapatan cabai merah, data yang diperoleh dari lapangan diolah secara tabulasi dan digunakan analisis secara matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan petani tentang sistem usahatani cabai merah masih rendah. Adanya sikap positif terhadap sistem usahatani dalam berusahatani cabai merah. Keterampilan petani dalam menerapkan sistem usahatani dalam berusahatani masih rendah. Pendapatan petani contoh di Desa Kepahyang dalam berusahatani cabai merah sebesar Rp 4.906.131,25 perluas garapan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of the factors that influence the production of lowland rice in Sepang Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was carried out in Sepang Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency from June to July 2021. The research method used was a survey method, namely conducting a thorough observation of rice production farming. The sampling method in this study is the purposive sampling method. The total population of rice farmers in Sepang Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, is 1,014 samples and 91 respondents. The data collection method used in this study was direct observation and interviews with respondents, using tools in the form of a list of previously prepared questions and data obtained from relevant institutions related to this research.The results showed that based on the results of testing the productivity variable (X) had a positive and significant effect on income (Y). This means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The number of workers, land area, use of seeds, use of urea fertilizer and use of insecticides, simultaneously have a significant effect on increasing rice production in Sepang Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The amount of income of rice farmers in the study area is an average of Rp. 5.993.746 per planting season.
