Abstract

Husein Sastranegara Airport which can be located at the heart of Bandung city nowadays has a runway with its PCN classification fixed at 50 F/C/X/T or equals to a total flexible type pavement thickness precisely on 740 mm. Nevertheless, Boeing 737-800 defines its classification at maximum state up to 51 on ACN scale. Therefore, overlay act upon runway pavement needs to be studied in order to enhance its classification. ACN/PCN is one of ICAO renowned method to determine pavement thickness, while recently FAA has developed a cutting-edge method by using a computerized program called FAARFIELD (FAA Rigid Flexible Iterative Elastic Layer Design). In accordance with the earlier issues, ICAO method analyzes the need of 1041.4 mm pavement thickness for graphical technique and 940.6 mm for analytical technique, while FAARFIELD should only require 840.8 mm pavement thickness in determining its flexible type runway due to the previous overlay act. The presented results of both methods established that runway pavement of Husein Sastranegara Airport shall be improved by an overlay layer immediately

Abstract

The Ahmad yani International Airport Semarang have an apron with an area of 29.032,00 m2 With Rigid and Flexible construction. Rigid construction is locate at parkingstand with a total of 8 unit while the flexible construction located in aprontaxiway. Due to frequently damage in aprontaxiway, there is need a change from flexible to rigid construction. Choose the biggest aircraft, counting the pavement’s thick that will created and choose the joint pavement refer to the KP 262 year 2017, FAA AC 150 /5320 6D and FAA AC 150/5320 6E rules. The critical Aircraft is B 737-900 ER, thick of pavement is 68, 75cm and construction joint using dowel with length of 51cm, 4mm diameter and distance between dowel is 46cm with PCN 57 R/C/X/T will used in plan to change aprontaxiway to parkingstand construction at Ahmad Yani International Airport, semarang

Abstract

The high movement of aircraft at the International Airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali, Is not yet balanced with the air equipped with adequate especially in the apron caused mobilization did not go well. It underlies the need of expansion apron north to fulfill plane capacity to operate. This needs to be planned expansion of an apron north by using the method of FAA (manual and software) and method of forecasting. According to analysis and the results then the planned expansion of the apron dimension is 64.677,72 m² for the addition of 4 parking stands by increasing specification of aircraft operating into aircraft 4E and 4C category. A thick slab of concrete that is obtained will be used of 52.07 cm concrete quality K-400, 25.4 cm subbase thickness and subgrade CBR amounted to 6%

Abstract

Occurring problems in runway 11-29 at Husein Sastranegara Bandung is kind of surface pavement, those problems happen because of continuous usage on it’s surface, pavement durability, and factor of weather, so that flexible pavement currently fragile and easy to get damaged. Evaluations regarding the damage of runway pavement surface using Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and doing action such fixing planning of the evaluation results, so that the sample of the damage overall can be resumed. From the calculation done, it can be conclude that damage found in segment 2 is damage Depression crack 3,37 m3, Block Cracking damage 0,02 m3, segment 19 is damage Ravelling crack 9,13 m3, damage Depression crack 8,39 m3, damage to Rutting crack 29,98 m3, segment 98 is damage Longitudinal/Transverse cracking 1,48 m3, Depression crack damage 5,50m 3, damage Patching crack 0,08 m3, damage Rutting crack 1,78 m3, segment 120 is damage Polished Agregate 0,30 m3, Longitudinal/Transverse cracking 0,70 m3, and segment 170 is Rutting crack damage 44,44 m3, Depression crack damage2,61 m3. So it is necessary to re-coat and do research of pavement layer structure and ground so as to meet CBR/carrying capacity and optimize the implementation of coating

Abstract

Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang located in West side of Semarang and managed by PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) which serves domestic and international flights. With the high airplane movements during peak hours, it is feared that there will be a waiting time between airplanes that will be landing because of the lack of apron capacity. In order to support the smoothness, the apron necessary to be expanded to accommodate all aircraft movements during peak hours. Therefore, this final project made for present how to plan the expansion and standard pavement thickness of the apron in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). According to the result of the calculation, the development of the planned apron dimensions is 820 x 131,5 m for the addition of 20 parking stand and obtained the overall pavement thickness of the apron is 64.8 cm. Including 39.4cm of concrete slab thickness with K-400 concrete quality and subbase 25.4 cm to subgrade with CBR 6%.

Abstract

Ridwan Malik Hanggono, ”APRON EXPANSION PLANNING USING RIGID PAVEMENT AT HANG NADIM BATAM AIRPORT”. Indonesian civil aviation institute, Curug-Tangerang. Hang Nadim Batam Airport is the premier first class airport located in Batu Besar, Nongsa, Pulau Batam, Kepulauan Riau and has function to serve transportation services. Those required to provide safe flight and operation services. The high aircraft movement during peak hours in the Hang Nadim Batam Airport it is cause the occur waiting time between the aircraft will land due to less of apron capacity. For the sake of safety it is necessary to support the expansion of the apron to be able to accommodate all aircraft movement during peak hours. Therefore this final project made to explain how to plan the expansion and apron pavement thickness which suitable to the reference of International Civil Aviation Organitation (ICAO) related to the characteristic of the area Mutiara Sis Al-jufri Palu Airport. According to the results of calculation, the dimension of the planned apron is 351,5 x 138,3 m suitable for addition of 8 parking stand and also total area apron pavement thickness is 63 cm. The thickness of concrete slab with concrete quality k-400 is 37,6 cm and 25,4 cm thick subbase for subgrade with CBR 8%.
